EMIQ I think has potential.

I've read in some places that Quercefit may be even better.

It's on my list to research the two head to head but I haven't had a chance yet.

I might wait for some human studies before I took the plunge. There are lots of other good supplements already on the market that can give you good ergogenic and anabolic effects.

There's lots of studies on many supplements. Unfortunately, the supplement industry is faster than researchers can keep up with. If you want to be a guinea pig and take a questionable supplement just for funsies, be my guest. But why? Those ingredients you mentioned, along with citrulline, should be enough to make excellent gains in the gym without much extra.

If you're just one of those people who likes experimenting with unproven ingredients, I can't fault you, but I wouldn't waste my money on it.

That's a pretty broad question but I'll try to give a few options.

First, on the Emiq and Quercefit, I think both ingredients have potential. We've been looking at using one or the other in a couple of upcoming formulas. I do think they have potential but I do view them as supporting ingredients to a formula and not one to base it around. I hope that makes sense.

Anabolic Effect:
- Natural Anabolic Formula with tons of great feedback
- Link to write up and ingredients: https://competitiveedgelabs.com/product/anabolic-effect/
- Link to thread: https://anabolicminds.com/community/threads/cel-anabolic-effect-natural-anabolic.311615/page-29#post-6487512 (thread is massive; I linked you to the last page but you can go back and glance wherever you want)

Epi-Plex:
- 300 mg. Epicatechin per capsule + Piperine for improved absorption
- Note: There can be a huge discrepancy in the quality of epicatechin raw materials
- Link to write up and ingredients: https://competitiveedgelabs.com/product/epi-plex/
- Link to good mini review: https://anabolicminds.com/community/threads/cel-epi-plex-mini-review.320683/

X-Gels (Arachidonic Acid):
- Arachidonic Acid has been a favorite of many on here for many years.
- Product link and info: https://seriousnutritionsolutions.com/product/x-gels/
- Tons of positive posts, logs, and reviews on over the years.

Phosphatidic Acid:
- This one is popular but more debated. Some people love it and say it works great, others say they don't get as much from it. I think that's because of several reasons - 1) I do believe it works different for different people (like many things do) 2) When it first came out it was overpromoted and overhyped and it led to way too many false expectations that nothing natural could live up to 3) This kind of goes back to point #2 in that people expect too much too quickly, but Phosphatidic Acid for best results needs to be used for minimum of 8 weeks and best used longer because it really starts to work best when you take it long enough to hit a saturation point.

PEAK02 (if you're after endurance):
- Great clinical studies at UNC Chapel Hill on this ingredient for endurance, VO2 Max, etc.
- Product link and info: https://seriousnutritionsolutions.com/product/peak02-capsules-180-veg-caps/

On a personal note, you mentioned Beta Alanine, which is commonly used for endurance. I have a medical condition that hinders my ability to perform as well as normal in endurance activities. I'm not putting down Beta Alanine at all (we sell it ourselves) but PEAK02 helped me a LOT more than Beta Alanine and has become a staple product in my supplement regimen for endurance and for its immune support properties.

There are also a lot of great basic but staple ingredients. That's the focus of our upcoming daily ergogenic is to combine a lot of those staple ingredients into one product for convenience and cost effectiveness.

No love for Ecdysterone? To me it seems to be one of the best overall compounds for anabolic/ergogenic effects but the problem always seems to be sourcing/raw materials as the many back and forth threads on here can attest to.

The honest answer here is that most Ecdysterone raw materials do not test out as what they are supposed to be in terms of active content. The supply chain is unreliable and legitimate raw materials are so expensive that I feel that you can buy better products for the money by the time you hit that price point.

For example, Ecdysterone &/or Turkesterone may be okay but you can buy Anabolic Effect for less than it would actually cost me to make a bottle of legit Turkesterone. So is Turkesterone good? Maybe. Is it as one ingredient better than a comprehensive formula like Anabolic Effect? No way.

So may companies gave in to the demand for Turkesterone and started putting it in products knowing they didn't have the proper standardization of raw materials but they didn't want to turn down the profits from the demand. I admit that I considered it myself, but at the end of the day, I just wasn't willing to do something like that. I'd rather lose out on the potential profits.

Same here- been taking them for a couple years. I would say this combination has anabolic properties for sure.
