So we all know there a tolerance level with mk-677 and after while your not as high as you once were. We also know Thyroid problems can also affect said levels. I spoke with my Dr today and we can both agree that for me that TOLERANCE LEVEL was a lot sooner than expected. I was not really expecting that per say, but my blood work etc has shown that. We spoke a bit more on that subject and he did mention longer run of mk-677 or hgh were one is sitting above 300 IGF-1 constantly create problems longer term especially when one get older. He went into detail why, but there a bit too much info to retain. He said cycling perfectly fine and 3 months on is good with 1-2 months off and repeat. I would say 3 months off preferably. So what have we learned is that this tolerance level very greatly by person. I do believe one should be doing IGF-1 test once a month for at least 3 to gain there tolerance level. You need to find that level because it important to see how soon that tolerance level starts, otherwise you would just be wasting mk-677.

For me by the 2nd monthish in I am almost back to my baseline, and by that 3rd month and pretty much there. So I can say that for me one full month on then 1-2 month off is best me and that anything past (1 month on) I'm just wasting my mk-677. That still +153 from my baseline for a solid month. That not mentioning that first week it's even higher.

So to sum things up, find your tolerance level, test for it, and stop your cycle when your at level and then take that 1-2 month of then restart back on your cycle. 3 months on max if what I suggest followed by that 1-2 month off to reset. Hope this info help.

There are many people out there who say mk677 loses effectiveness a few weeks in. I'll see if I can find the video of some reputable individuals discussing it.

Use test at 500mg a week for months and you will feel like it stopped working, it don't

My blood work prove that it’s losses it effectiveness due to aka tolerance build up. Depending on the user. Even the studies back this up.

I’m literally back at baseline. MK simply signals the body to make more growth hormone. I’m not feeding it an outside source like hgh. My body decided to stop listening to that signal. I’d say it’s not working. Hows it working when I’m back to my baseline number? I’d say it not. I’ll say if I was always 25+ above my baseline then I’d say it working and while not as effectively as +153 it’s still doing it job even if there was tolerance. I’m not gaining anything if I’m not above my baseline. This is why one needs to cycle mk-677. I’d like to see your blood work.

Also Test comment not even relevant.

I am well aware of the actual studies! If you look at tregar thread he’s in the same boat but his tolerance level was a lot better. This show you have everyone is different. Take a look st his thread!

People seem to not understand if I’m not constantly above my baseline then what I’m I gaining? Noting. I’m right back to where I started. Best thing for me is to cycle. I’d rather have +153 above my baseline every other month because then I’m gaining something.

The hunger pains, insomnia, tiredness disappear after 3-4 weeks which is right about where it loses its effectiveness apparently

Are you planning 4 weeks mk677, then switching to CJC for 4 weeks, then MK again etc?

What you just mentioned are sides effect and not everyone get those. I did not even have those problems. If you look at the study you would see it losses it effect on IGF-1 levels, GH etc over time aka tolerance build up. That the most important part are those numbers. You want to maintain above your baseline IGF-1 levels and if your not even doing that there there no benefits to running mk-677 for longer periods of time if all your going to do is sit at your normal baseline number. This is why one should do blood work and to monitor your IGF-1.

I do not go by side effect as one may not experience those. I base anything I do off my blood work, actual numbers, and a bit on how I feel. Numbers don't lie.

If you read the thread I have already done the cjc w/ dac it did not work out for me. I was also on mk-677 for 3 months. My plan for mk-677 this go around is 1 month on 1 month off (cycling). I will be going off my blood work IGF-1 levels etc and will adjust accordingly.

I think month on/off will be interesting as with all the labs seen posted in different threads here 1-3 months seems to be the sweet spot and longer isn't necessarily better as there's been shown a point of diminishing returns. I'm sure everyone is different but it also somewhat reaffirms my belief that the guys who say run it a full year straight etc. are usually behind a company pushing a product and you have to figure out what works for you.

Update: 11-17-2018

It's been close to 4 weeks off. So I have re-started the mk-677. I will be doing bloods again at the 1 month mark. Then if numbers are good I will continue for 2-3 more months, if my number are a lot better the my last 3 months on; I will continue. Will only pause for a month or two to reset, this will be based of my blood work numbers. Currently trying out Narrows Labs mk-677. 3 days in so far. I must say the deep wonderful, restful sleep is fantastic. It's been well missed!

As you all know made some very minor tweaks to my TRT. Added in some Liothyronine (T3) (Slow Release) to my protocol to address some very minor thyroid issues + just for the benefits of T3 itself. Looking forward to this when I am 6 weeks in on the T3. Scale alone and little subron fat already moving in the right direction. Very happy. This is not even changing diet.

Will be doing more traveling soon. Internationally next month.

I don't like taking melatonin everyday. I already get a large amount of D3 among other things that's in also Somatozine. With narrows It simple just mk-677 and also dosage a little bit smaller. Price is a bit nicer on narrows. Will test IGF-1 lvls with Narrows just to make sure all is good. Also good to have options.

I still be using & fully support Ma Labs / Mike Arnold products. He will be the main source tho, after this run.

Right now I have to halt this log due to family emergency. Bloods will have to wait atm; won't' be running mk-677 at this time.. I will be gone for a bit, but may check in here and there. After I will re-start.

Would love to see Somatozine without the melatonin be an option.

Between me and some friends we done it straight, 5 on 2 off, 2 weeks on 1 week off and all those ways seem to work the same

with blood work or by feeling?
For me by results. But my boy has blood work that shows igf elevated a week after stopping mk so if it's staying elevated days or a week after you stop it then it would make sense to me that you don't need to run it straight and all of those protocol will make your mk last longer. It was Mike Arnold on a beast fitness radio podcast that said something about this that got me thinking about it and I had already done the 5 on 2 off in the past anyways. From this point out il probably always do 2 weeks on 1 week off

I recently stopped using it all together because I'm worried bout insulin sensitivity. I will use again most likely once I get some more reading and research done on the subject

My protocol is going to be 5 on 2 off. So basically mon-fri.

I started around 3 weeks ago to fall in with my PCT.

I will be getting a blood test for diabetes mid January to see how my blood sugars are and I can work out from there how the compound is treating me.

I’m hoping the 5 on 2 off approach along with my already low carb eating helps against the insulin sensitivity issues mk677 has.

I find as soon as you come off it all pretty much goes back to normal again, however I do check it a few times a week

Is MA labs located in the USA? Thinking about placing an order after seeing this thread! How long should somatozine be ran for?
Yes. I ship out of Ohio. I now recommend 8 days ON/ 4 days OFF, repeat.
