mixing waxy maize and maldextrin

Can you mix waxy maize and dextrose/malodextrin? Say 75 g of waxy maize and 25 g of malodextrin pwo or would this be counter-productive
 
It would be counter productive.
 
Biggest reason is that there is no point to adding Malto. Secondly, from everything I have read, you want to keep "additions" to Kwik Karb at under 30%, in order to not affect speed of absorption. PWO, you want some Leucine or WPI along with WMS (and a few other key nutrients).
