Millipore Inconsistencies

The first three filters (.22 hi-flow) flowed easily with virtually no pressure. Then the fourth was so difficult that pressing a 10 cc syringe using both hands produced only a drop every second or two. Now, of course, I have no confidence in the final product. What should I think?

Also, my kit (Universal) included BA and the instructions said to dump it all into the powder but my yield was very low (6.4 gm) so I only added 6.4 ml of the BA (1 ml/gm powder). I got that figure from a post by Dazed. Now I'm reading more about BA/BB ratios and wondering why my kit doesn't include BB.

Thanks for your help.

I've been doing some more reading and I'm pretty sure that the "Dissolving Solution" referred to as "BA" in the instructions is actually a mix of 25% BA and 75% BB. Even if it is straight BA my 6.4 ml is very close to the right amount.

I put the Tren and Test vials through three cycles of 225 degrees F for 30 minutes and the freezer for 15 minutes. I'm feeling pretty good about the sterility at this point.

Could someone please confirm my product? I've got some pretty nice looking vials and they're calling to me from the closet. :)

I don't know what to tell you..... Most filters I've used have required a lot of pressure. But recently, I had one flow like there was almost no filter.

I haven't correlated any problems with a bad filter, (if such a thing exists), so I'm not really any help here.

I have always associated the required pressure with the amount of gunk it is taking out. If you were to start out with a messy solution, even from the get-go it would be tough to filter. Most filters seem to clog beyond their usefulness at around 15-30ml, (again, depending on how much gunk it takes out). Most of the time I'd rather have a couple extra filters on hand and swap one out when it gets rediculously tough to push through instead of going through that pain.

I'm not familiar with the kits that are available these days, but I think your final probuct is fine. Good luck with the cycle.

I got a reply from the vendor. He says that the BA in the solution is enough to ensure sterility alone.

I've decided to go for it. This is actually a batch for both my buddy and me so if either of us have trouble with the injections I'll post back here.

I have had the same thing with the milipore filters also.

For some reason some kit stores changed to them from the Whatmans.

The BA won't kill off other things like foreign proteins or viral agents.

No, that's where the filter comes in. I think you are good though. The filter pressure mystery remains a mystery.

There are many things that can cause an abcess. Most often they're a particle of some kind.

Well, I've done about 9 injections now and have had no problems. I'm not 100% that the Tren wasn't damaged with the heating and cooling but at least it's clean.

Viral agents have a very low resistance to the BA.

Its the bacterial agents that are an issue and BA can't kill off. Bacteria are veeeeeeeeery adaptive. And the smallest of them cannot fit through 22um.

Viral agents can be 100x smaller....basically, amost impossible to filter.

I don't know about prion's.
