We agree on that point, but as long as it's unPC to point this out and to actually point to a specific group, however you delineate them and say, "Get your **** together, your here now, not there," well then nothing is going to change. You can't make people adapt if your country's government and society are bending over backwards to make it unnecessary to adapt.

I concur. I think it's such a fine line to tread, because there is legitimacy and illegitimacy on both sides of the argument; making it necessary to contribute economically, learn the normative behavior patterns, and behave within the confines of your new home is, I think, completely justified. However, some people, as I said, twist that sentiment into the justification for cultural genocide, as it were.
