Methylene Blue

The tuned up feeling is gone and I do not believe it was from methylene blue, I made the mistake of taking something for My nose that I thought was safe to combine with methylene blue and it turns out that it is not safe at all and it jacks up your blood pressure and it actually could have been very very dangerous if I was taking higher doses of either product together. So I've removed phenylephrine that I was trying to use as a decongestant to fix the congestion rebound I have from overusing afrin. I want to say that the things I have noted that are definitely beneficial so far is the imild ncreased in energy, some extra endurance in the gym and I swear to God that I have almost no pain in my hands for the first time in a long time.

Now at this point I'm going to try something, I'm going to stop taking the methylene blue for the next 7 days and I want to see if the pain in my hands or joints come back. And then when I pick the methylene blue back up I'm probably going to run it for another 2 weeks and then I'll chime back in.
That’s really cool if it did help the pain in your hands, because as an old dude I have arthritis in hands, shoulders, knees and back. I do take plenty of supplements that help tremendously, but I’m always interested in something that helps. Interested in how your time off experiment works.😎👍

Me too, the only variable was I cut a lot of sugar out of my diet and I know that would help relieve inflammation as well but I don't think two or three days of removing sugar would have made the pain go away. But I'm very serious when I say there is a massive reduction in pain in my joints and I'm praying that it's because of the methylene blue. That would be huge for me and that would be more important than any of the other benefits for me personally. I also would like to add that I'm definitely not getting the anti-anxiety antidepressant benefits at 7.5-10mg. I've been kind of sad and depressed for the last few months and it's not improving I'm good I don't want to sit here and sound like I'm crying but I was hoping to get that benefit from the methylene blue and I have not noticed it. I will add that from everything I read 15 mg was the anti-anxiety antidepressant dose.

But one more thing I'd like to add is the fact that I had been taking phenylephrine with it and it was raising my blood pressure And I've been dealing with some sinus issues and all of those things tend to give me anxiety. So maybe if those factors were not in play the 10 mg might have did something but I'm just playing guessing games here.

Seeing how the other benefits came on almost immediately I think this stuff could be good for short-term use You only got to take it for 2 or 3 days and it relieves some inflammation in your hands and puts you in a better mood that would be awesome. But at the same time there's definitely lots of effects that seem like they need to be used long-term.

On a side note I had a busy day, skipped breakfast, literally had two large coffees for lunch, And on the way to the gym I just grabbed a protein shake from a gas station And I still kicked ass in the gym today. I did a 30 minute circuit conditioning workout with all of the youth boxers which was way f****** harder than I thought it was going to be, after that I went over to the heavy bag to do a couple rounds and someone came over and asked me if I'd spar with them so I gave them three rounds of sparring, then I threw my MMA gloves on and hopped in the ring and did 2 rounds sparring MMA but no takedowns so I guess it was kind of more like light kickboxing with MMA gloves? At the end of the second round I did catch a cramp in one of my abs and I dropped straight to the ground. I had thrown a lot of kicks and I don't kick very often anymore and I don't work abs very often and I think they took a beaten, I also hit legs pretty good yesterday so that could have played a role as well, And I also was probably dehydrated since I had nothing all day but two coffees and a protein shake. But other than that little cramp it was a great workout I was there for about 2 hours

Yeah, definitely any pain relief in joints would be the biggest thing with me as well. It sounds like it definitely helped with endurance considering 2 hours of going from circuit training, to heavy bag work, and then sparring on low nutrition….that’s a good test right there in my book….another plus.👍

I feel fresh today too. Legs are a little sore because Tuesday I threw some squats and hack squats into my push workout And there was a lot of leg related stuff in the circuit yesterday but other than some muscle soreness I feel good. I'll be doing a full body workout tonight that's focused on pull.

Deadlifts, weighted chin-ups, rows and a couple different dealt moves and a little bit of arms.

Should be a rough one after what I've done the past two days but I'm absolutely feeling up to it so I'm going for it. Plus it's in the rotation for the clients I have tonight so I have to do it with them anyways lol

On my third day of 15mg mine is in a powder pill form, I notice a nice clean energy all day. I also notice my pee is very much blue/green tinted. So far not notice much else.

Been dealing with a baker cyst in my knee had acl and meniscus surgery in May so really hoping to see some improvement in the pain and swelling I d with.

Any effects on sleep or mood
I’ve been off work for 16 months with my knee injury, so life has been generally a lot less stress free anyway. I’m still getting full pay lol.

I haven’t noticed much of a sleep difference but my sleep as been very interrupted with my excessive snoring lately (think from hgh and also I’ve gone from 220 to about 235 lbs)

I’m running Methylene Blue later this month and can keep the board updated if there is interest.

#1. Sorry about the knee but also, Sweet lol.

#2. Glad HGH is treating you well. I got some on the way and I plan on staying on it for a long while if my source is good And I have no reason to believe it's not because he's always been good in the past with the normal gear stuff.

#3. Those are two very good reasons why mood and sleep wouldn't really be things you'd be able to judge but I appreciate you mentioning those things because that's important to understanding the product.

For context for everyone I'm trying to make this as accurate as possible with all the variables mentioned.

After talking to several people it sounds like I'm the only one who's getting this immediate pain relief in my joints so I'm wondering if I'm getting a placebo effect, I mean it really was my biggest hope that this was going to help and it seems to be helping a significant amount but it doesn't seem to be doing it for anybody else so far. Now at the same time, the other people I've asked aren't really dealing with severe pain like I am, so there's a lot of variables here again. I don't want to just come out and say yeah this stuff is going to take all your pain away because it might not be doing that at all It could just be in my head because we all know the placebo effect can be very real. That's why I'm discontinuing for a little while and I'm going to hop back on again in a week or so.

The next time I'll stay on for like 2 weeks and I'll hop back off again and I'm going to do that a few times to get a feel of what's different.

this happens to me every time I chase a strength cycle over about 200lbs. I've never in my life been a snorer, but the past few years I have cycled up to about 203-207lbs and cut back to 183ish and every single time I start to push the tachometer to 200lbs+ snoring and apnea try to creep in.

Same here. Anytime I'm over about 210 lb I start snoring, I don't notice it myself but my girlfriend definitely does. Now I used to be a lot fatter when I'd be at that weight now that I'm leaner at heavier weights It doesn't seem to be as pronounced But I'd imagine if I pushed up to 225+ or something like that again, it would start all over again.

Maybe in the fall I'll let the pounds pile on and see what happens.

I wake up every morning to my wife not in bed, she goes sleeps on the couch now. I need to get this under control lol.

Same here brother, it’s actually called a “sleep divorce”
I have been on the couch for over a year but grew to like it

I probably sleep in bed with my girl four or five times a month I'm a couch sleeper as well lol. Since my daughter's gone to college sometimes I sleep in her room with the cat, My girl likes to go to bed early and I don't go to bed till about midnight and I pace around a lot and I snore when I'm heavy so there's all kinds of things that I do that interrupt her sleep and she's one of those people where if she gets one minute less than 8 hours she's a raging lunatic

She's so ridiculous that if I wake her up and it's only like 3 minutes before her alarm's about to go off she has a temper tantrum that she didn't get her last 3 minutes

Yea and it’s worse cuz in a dick a refuse not to sleep in my own bed, I’m like we have an expensive ass mattress I’m enjoying it, get ear plugs or you go to the couch lol.

Well 18 months off work and I’m back starting Monday. I’m gonna hear to much **** about being off so long and coming back bigger and stronger then when I left lol, good thing my lacking legs will be covered, but healing from the surgery I legit can’t go heavy on them yet.

People who don't know about fitness and bodybuilding don't have a clue just tell him you sat on the couch and did dumbbell curls cuz you couldn't walk and your arms got huge

Next thing you know every guy you work with is going to be sitting on the couch doing dumbbell curls thinking it's the key to success

with injectable MB I was reading to shot it intravenously. I was curious of trying L-Caritine/mb would you do that intramuscular?

I'm not giving any advice on this but I'm going to rattle off a few things I read. I am still fairly new to researching this stuff. I do not trust my own knowledge. I've heard they inject it sub q for general use like similar to oral general use. I've read its given intrathecal which is the fluid around your spine, I recently saw a thing (actually I believe Dustin posted it somewhere in this thread) But Phil Heath talks about getting methylene blue into his IV drip. So it seems like there's a ton of different ways to use it. I do not know what way would be better, or safer ect.

So theoretically could somebody inject L-Carnitine and methylene blue intramuscularly, yeah that would make sense.

Figured now that I have the prescription I can still try other formats and if there is any truth to the false positive I’m still covered with the oral prescription

Dang 16 months full pay! If I were you I may "injure" the other knee right when you go back :ROFLMAO:

Late to the party here!!! Mea culpa!!! In regards to anti-inflammatory effects… I have arthritis in right elbow and shoulder. Pissed both off last Tues doing bi’s n tri’s. I actually iced my elbow Tues and wed last week post workout. I NEVER do that. That was day 2 of M-blue for me at 10mg per 1st thing a.m. I have increased my sets and reps/ adding volume w the ATP enhancements I’ve been feeling. So basically leaning into the gas while in a 300-500 cal deficit and wait hurt last week feels better than it normally does. Normally when I get after it harder my ailments hurt more. I’m not saying I feel no pain but it’s def mitigated some of it. I typically live off of SNS Cissus and Joint XT and PEA RELIEF. I would assimilate my level of relief from M-blue to adding those last 3 supps

Don’t get any of the liquid on you!!!

No but it stained my white countertop pretty good. Took a lot of elbow grease to get it off. If you have any animals make sure you clean up any spills I've heard it can be very dangerous to cats and dogs
I keep getting it on my fingers some how. It’s like roofing tar to get off

Little update, it's been days off M-blue. I think I stopped April 4th. Still not getting any pain in my hands, at least nothing like it used to be and to add to that, I went back to eat in a couple extra desserts here and there too this week. So I reintroduced one of the things I eliminated and I eliminated one of the things I introduced which kind of puts me back to where I started but I'm not having any issues so now I'm just confused. I don't want to complain because my hands feel good. But I'm completely stumped I can't say that this was anything more than just a coincidence giving all the factors. Hearing other people say that there was a reduction in pain gives me a little hope still but I'm not going to go back on the end blue for a little bit longer just because I'm feeling kind of good lately and I don't want to screw it up 😂. I like the, if it ain't broke don't fix it mentality sometimes.
