The disapproving looks from doctors is a bitch but I personally care more about my health than my pride. So fook the doctors opinion on your personal choice. Just gotta make sure you're taking care of yourself lol

You have to remember you are paying for their service. The docs job is to help you manage your health through life....not tell you what to do. When a doc starts giving me orders I start the "fu** you" chatter. Tell them what you need and if they want to get high and mighty just find a REAL doc. Too many of them just step you through a thoroughly mapped out flow chart (which any moron can do) instead of being the helpful healers they used to be.

Ah. In UK we have free healthcare. That's where the issue is about getting them to do it on request. If it was £100 here for full screen pribately then that would be fine but by time all the hormone and cholesterol tests etc are done pre , post etc you could be looking at a £500 to £1000 , Mental. I know you can't put a price on health but that's alot to come up with ontop of cycle etc.
