Melting a Titan, Sponsored Thermogenesis log

Need Noodz or its just talk!!! lol.

That is the best when people notice it. It is hard to notice progress yourself when you see it everyday..
every time I look in the mirror I tell my self you look like crap. we will never be satisfied, that is what keeps us going. If it was easy everyone would do it!
It pisses my wife off when she is in the bathroom and I say this!

Ha! Im the same way my wife use to be the same way until she finally started working out all the time too.. now she says the same thing !!! No noodz.. but ill put a before and after up over in the family guy thread.

Now were talking.
Funny my wife just tells me she's looking pretty good, I just agree. I cant break here down like you guys! lol
she will say something like my butt is looking better what do you think. I just tell her I would rub my winner on it. I always tell her that. even if she gets her hair done. lol

lmao..see i Knew i wasnt the only one that did that!

Got on the scale this morning, not sure what to think. 220lbs, but that was around 0900, but Id been up since 0530, have had plenty of water, BCAAs, creatine, PWO, and a shake between the 2 times. So, Ill wait until Wednesday morning when I wake up for my fire shift. Ill be dry, and get an accurate number. On another note, the knee is sucking right now, not feeling to nice. But being Im on shift at EMS, and Im sure Ill have to pick up every 500+lber in the county just cause, Ive slathered it in Bio Freeze and bought a compression sleeve. As soon as I out it on, I automatically felt relief. Dont know what to think of that. Took my second dose of Thermogenesis when I woke up along with my Multi, and Im drinking coffee with butter. Outside of the knee, Im feeling pretty fricken awesome right now. FYI, and no homo, I absolutely look forward to getting on here everyday and talking to you group of moose knuckles!

I wouldn't let the scale trip you up. You are noticeably leaner in your current pics. Just keep up the good work. I haven't seen biofreeze in awhile. How did your knee hold up with physical activity?

Ever try coconut oil in the coffee instead of butter? Tastes better imo and probably has other benefits....

Coconut oil in the coffee is pretty good way to take it. Get a clump on the spoon and it melts instantly. In the summer it stay liquid so it's a little messy, I just put it in the fringe but the wife always forget to put it back in there.

How the keto going bro ?

Not sure that I ever truly made it "into" ketosis. Still running under 50 carbs a day, but never got the test strips, the wife keeps spending up the money, conveniently for "Christmas" . But I got several extra carbs in Saturday night and could tell a HUGE difference come Sundays workout.

Ehh, so so. I was able to pull 315x15 this morning, but didnt even attempt a second set, I knew I was going to be hurting. Got home took some aleve and slathered it in BioFreeze went to bed. Woke up for my shift and its sore as h3ll. As long as I have this compression sleeve on it, its about 60% better though, I just know its going to suck when I take it off. Depending on how it feels, I may skil out on squats Wednesday , or just lighten the load up. We'll see

I really enjoy the coconut oil in my coffee, but they called me and switched which ambulance I was on tonight, so I had to hurry up and leave. Stopped to get coffee and asked for butter, they looked at me like I was a sick freak.

I bet! Lol. Let me know how that knee feels after you get moving around.

I've had four knee surgeries and do the compression before running and squats. I think it helps keep things warm and loose in there. I tend to hurt more the colder it gets due to a lack of cartilage. And yea, bio freeze is legit!

Dang! 4 surgeries? The sleeve is feeling pretty good, but has me nervous as to what I'll feel
when I take it off.

I've got a funny knee injury story for you: about 5 or 6 years ago I was drunk and spotlighting rabbits with a group of young seminarians who were visiting the youth ranch. We were planning on making this big rabbit stew for the boys.

Anyway, long story short, I got pissed and accidentally stabbed myself in the knee with a razor sharp knife... actually buried the blade to the hilt.

I live 1 hr from the nearest hospital, out in the country. One of the seminarians insisted on pouring cayenne pepper into the wound to stop the bleeding; which is something he had read in a survival magazine or something. He dumped cayenne on my knee and I put pressure on it and the bleeding actually stopped.

When I got to the ER, the first thing they had to do was irrigate the wound. They used multiple bottles of saline, which mixed with the cayenne and ended up in a puddle on the hospital gurney. So basically, my balls and @sshole had to sit in a pepper spray mixture for a good hour. Honestly don't remember if I had any pain from the stab wound itself.
Lmfao I seriously wish I could've seen that.

Ok guys!! I woke up this morning a little groggy, but when dont I, really? Anyway, been having a slight pain in the right arm right where the bicep comes into the elbow, and this morning its a little extra sore and stiff. No biggie, Ill just see what Im capable of. So I only took 1 capsule this morning at 0630, which will hopefully allow me to take my PWO and go hit the gym without causing any Hypertension. Im working EMS tonight, so I can go home and sleep and then take another capsule when I wake up for a little evening boost without the fricken BP being jacked. But, big attempt at the gym today, so Ill let you guys know if I failed at it or not. I did however go straight to urinate after waking, and realized that either I was still REALLY tired, or, that I liked what I was seeing in the mirror so I couldnt help but to go get my phone and take a picture of it. And I do think I look a decent amount leaner than I did a week ago. What do you guys think? Honestly. Top picture is when I started and after a lift, and bottom picture is this morning fresh out the bed.Invalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed

mid section is leaner, more detail in the trap area on pic 2- more visual cuts definitely bro- doing good

I second that man...your progress is awesome. I'm half tempted to start cutting again!

Not really. But, you're great. Detail is being etched into your chest/delts/traps.

Thank you gentlemen! I appreciate the boost from the likes of both of you.

Really good lighting and I manscaped a 4 pack in . Figured 6 would be a dead giveaway

Lmao! Lighting does everyone good. The gym ALWAYS has perfect lighting, but once you get home you're faced with lighting that makes you look like you don't even lift bro.

Yes, the gym does. That's actually the bathroom at the fire station.

Damn son, that's a better bathroom than we have in our gyms on base over in the UK! Well, at least from what I can see! If your hot water/heating works consistently you've got most of the rental properties and base facilities best! Haha

Its a nice station. Day room is huge. Water will scald you, but the 1 thing they screwed up...the bay doors take like 1.5 minutes to open up, kinda kills the response time!

Speaking of response time...and not to derail the thread too much but I was listening a report on the local news over here in the UK and EMS has an average response time of 60-90 minutes. For some reason, they are extremely short staffed. I don't know if they purposely run it that way, but fire protection isn't beating them by much either. To top it off, there's also only 3 cops assigned to this whole "county" that we're in. Granted, it's not a huge metropolitan area like London but Jesus it really makes you think...

You're leaning out, bro! Good work, even can see some striations in the chest area!

Soooooo, youre saying I can start slowing down?

Well guys, have some personal issues going on and been a little down. Got to cut up some cars this morning for training, and that made me feel a little better. Got the entire training done running off of my 2 Thermogenesis . Nice. But, Im pretty sure the knee is jacked up. The inside of my knee is bruised pretty good and it's hurting like a mofo. Anyway, went to the gym, and had a VERY quick yet brutal chest workout. Off the HST for a little bit until I know more about my knee. Ill give it a couple weeks and see how it goes.

FLAT BENCH PRESS
135x15
135x10
225x10,8,6,4 and 2

Yesterday my weight was 221, so back up another pound. I know the possibilities, but its still depressing.

Man, I hope your knee gets better. I don't know how I was even walking a couple weeks ago. Well I do actually. Enough pain killers to knock out a village.

Definitely take a break from the HST while you let it heal. I still haven't gone back to full legs because of my knee.

Keep up the good work brother!

Sorry to hear about the knee man. Any idea what you did? Great workout regardless. Wat to keep plugging.

Not sure, I tore my MCL several years ago and didnt have it looked at until 7 months later and they said I waited to long. Pain is in the same spot. Its not burning like a tear, but slightly swollen and bruised. Did it on 300lb squats, went a little deeper than normal. Then stepped in a mud hole that night and my foot twisted. That didnt help, neither did the 300x15 squats the next morning

Sorry, had to edit, it was 300 squats not 315

Lol that sounds like Montana brother.

Lol but I'm sure EVERYONE carries in Montana, crime is probably not an issue. Doesn't help much for fire/EMS response but hey...lol

Soooooo, youre saying I can start slowing down?

Do what your station can handle! Haha. But on a real note, I really hope you don't have deal with too many crazies during the next few weeks. There'll undoubtedly be a few, but hopefully it won't detract from family time.

Todays workout is brought to you by F*** YEAH!!! Took 2 Thermogenesis this morning around 0600 and rocked on to work amped after a cup of coffee loaded with coconut oil. Feeling great. Still havent checked my weight again, that will be tomorrow. And dont really care because I can still SEE results. Enough that 1 if not 2 of my coworkers are ordering some today. Anyway, decided to see what I could do with squats since I already went from 225 to 275lbs, and my deadlifts went from 225 to 315. So its the same HST "A" workout as previous, but with changes to the squats. I upped it to 300lbs and got the first set of 15 nice and clean, the second set I got to 10 and my legs just gave out. Doesnt matter, Im fricken stoked!

You're absolutely correct. I can't tell you how many times I've been told to "stop" or "you really want to be that big?" Lol yes bishhh I do. Where I'm at now, the boss man used to compete, and still trains, and the other boss is a 6'+, 260lb giant. So I'm the "little" guy in my shop lol. And opening a store would be sick! A lot of risk/reward but it's a booming industry.

Man, I am sorry to hear about your knee man. I know how much knee pain can suck the joy out of training legs. Way to stick with it and I hope it is nothing serious

alternate ice with heat. ice 1st.....

Thanks guys. Im sure aim done with squats for a little while. Its still bruised just under the knee on the inside of my leg, and tender. The back of my leg behind the knee feels like it is under constant tension, and I can dig my thumb into the side of my knee and feel severely sharp pain. Is what it is. Ill do whatI can. On a second note, I hit the gym this morning and absolutely destroyed my Biceps and triceps, videoed a couple of sets for Studhorse since he did the same for me. Kinda like a challenge. Did Not dose Thermogenesis this morning as I knew I had to work tonight and was going home to sleep. I took one cap when I woke up around 4pm, and ate supper around 7, 4eggs and 3/4lb of steak. Still love the feeling I get on the Thermogenesis, and will take my second cap around 9PM to get me through he night.
