Yeah you are really in. Alphamax will really kick in down road a bit. You will love it. We have only had 2" of snow so far here, November was cold like a January though.
Don't waste your money on carb powders. There is no need for them. If one is using slin and needs the insulin spike, then that would make more sense. I wouldn't touch waxy, malto, or dextrose.
Day 8 AlphaMax work out log: Schedule is back to normal. I should be able to log Monday thru Friday now. Today starts my eighth day on AlphaMax. 2 capsules late morning and 2 before bed. I also tried HyperMax (review in supplement section). I use Cremax, D3 vitamin, fish oil (3,600 mg; 540 mg Omega-3) and glutamine. I increased my calories to 3-3,500 daily. Protein 200, carbs 375, fat 100. My weight is 175 pounds (up about 3lbs). Bodyfat 12.5% and BMI 23.5. BB Bench press 135x12 185x10 205x7 215x6 220x5 220x5 (2 forced reps) DB bench/incline db press (super set) 90x8/30x12 90x8/35x12 Squat 135x8 155x5 175x5 200x1 Standing calve raise 160x25 210x20x2 Seated calve raise 90x50 I am not sure if this is a result of AlphaMax, my last bb bench press I did 215x4 and today 220x5. This will be my first week with a consistent workout schedule. I am hoping to see some added strength as I enter next week. I can't say I have noticed anything g significant yet on AlphaMax. It's only my second week, so I am hoping to start seeing some results within the next couple weeks. Should I be looking at anything specific with AlphaMax?
My sleep seems to be better. I can get about 5 hours sleep and then I wake up to use the bathroom. I probably need to drink less a few hours before bed. It seems to have helps mental focus (although I am a pretty calm, not easily bothered kind of person anyway). How do I tell about holding or not holding water? What does the drying out effect look like? My BMI and BF has remained pretty much the same and my body weight has increased about 3 pounds. Sorry for the silly questions.
this, that's when the ingredients are fully kicked in IMO. as for the drying out you can notice it by more frequent urination, looking at an old photo and it just looks puffy vs now. The biggest thing that helps is the mental boost because you are ready to hit the weights and give it your all then sleep like a baby! Are you getting restful sleep?Around week 3-4 you should start seeing more changes. 5-8 is where the magic happens lol

Yes. My sleep seems better. I think if I limit my fluid intake in the evenings I should not wake around 2am. I won't take any pictures until 4th week. I broke the camera with my last pictures
I do go to the bathroom quite a bit.
Not silly at all. When you drop water you'll look more defined so to speak. BW will usually decrease or remain unchanged if you add lbm

Thanks. I am trying to follow advice that I have received from different people on AM. I also want to cut up a little before my winter vacation in February. Going snowboarding with my dad to Maine. Usually about 80 guys go. It's a lot of fun. Especially the time with my dad.
Yes, he does snowboard. He is the one who taught me. We do this trip every year. Thanks for askingDoes your dad snowboard as well? That sounds like an awesome trip. Although i couldn't picture my dad snowboarding, he's a hell if a musician though.
AlphaMax day 13 I start day 13 of AlphaMax today. I have observed the following (especially in the past 3 days): 1.) better sleep (I usually wake up a few times every night and get up at least once. I only woke up once each night and very briefly. I fall back to sleep quickly. I haven't gotten up in the night for 3 nights now. (That's a record for me.) 2.) I am drying out. My mouth is much dryer then normal. I have a desire to drink more water. I am not retaining the water in my body though. I believe this is reflected in my increased body weight, that shows no indication of increased body fat. The mirror seems to indicate this as well. I will tape myself at day 28. 3.) I have gained 6 pounds as of this morning (in 12 days). My body fat hasn't changed. So far, I am very happy with AlphaMax and it's only day 13.
