maltodextrin gd for bulking up?

Hey all,
Is MaltoDextrin good for bulking up? And it is high or Low GI.. ? and whens the best time to take it ? need ur opinions appreciate it!:eek5:
 
The best time to take maltodextrin is immediately post workout.

It is a high GI carb which means it mimics sugar and spikes insulin. It is good for bulking but you should keep your intake in moderation.
 
I like it, I mix a scoop of it with a scoop of protein powder for my shakes. Which I add some PB and half frozen banana to. The cool thing is it doesn't really do anything as far as taste, before using it I was thinking my shakes would taste super sugary.
 
How well does your maltodextrin dissolve in water? My source is terrible, I have to wait thirty minutes before it's soluble.
