In response to the creatine-agamatine interaction, that one is purely theoretical and at the nmda receptor. Creatine being an agonist, agmatine potentially being antagonistic. That receptor/pathway really has nothing to do with workouts, pump wise or even focus wise. And the influence of agmatine at that receptor is not really understood, as it can have vastly different effects at different concentrations, and I haven’t seen any data showing how high cns agmatine levels rise with supplemental use. So it’s really anyone’s guess at this point. But for preworkout purposes they have no interaction. I only know the above because I used to take supplements for almost a year geared towards enhancing the nmda pathway without it being cytotoxic. I didn’t notice much difference in negative cognitive effects when I was taking DAA, Creatine, d-serine, and various ampakines. I was taking maybe 500-1000 mg agmatine preworkout. One thing I do notice is that lower doses of agmatine, around 250 mg, seems to have a noticeable anxiolytic effect, at least for me.
