Lowering Estrogen Slowly and Permanently

Is there a way to reduce estrogen slowly and permanently? I applied a small amount of progesterone for about 2 weeks but that appeared to increase my estradiol, probably because it is an estrogen precursor (many sources say it is good for controlling estrogen dominance in both sexes). It also may have raised my TSH level because of the high estradiol, so my blood test results say that I could have hypothyroidism.

Things I have already tried that didn't work for me:
DIM
Novadex XT
Garlic extract
Biotest resveratrol
Biotest long jack
Diesel Test Hardcore/Sunami/2010
Progesterone

I dont believe it is possible to permanently reduce estro. Although it may just be possible because you can permanently reduce testosterone, why not do the same with estrogen.

If my estrogen wasn't always this high, why wouldn't it be possible to lower it again? I don't know what could have caused it. I did take a pack of Gaspari Halodrol a long time ago....

My libido is rock bottom and I virtually never feel like doing anything. Could this lack of 'activity' lead to high estrogen? I'm thinking maybe if I made myself 'get busy' at least every other day, my system might correct itself.

Diet?
Increased fat storage can increase estrogen.

I have a little bit of fat on my stomach and it's difficult to get rid of (high TSH and estrogen). But very stable. I don't think that's the cause though.

Maybe I had some trauma a while back.

From stopthethyroidmadness.com:
Trauma from Accidents or Surgery
Trauma, such as from automobile accidents, surgery, or severe uterine hemorrhage during childbirth can result in Sheeans Syndrome, which is hypopituitarism, and results in hypothyroidism. Cholecystectomy and Hysterectomy, as well as Tonsillectomy, can increase the risk of hypothyroid. Whiplash or neck trauma can cause hypothyroidism.

I don't think Estrogen is the cause or symptom of your problem.
If you want to reduce estrogen, try low dose Formestane.
Do you do heavy compound lifting with good nights sleep. Sounds like big time action is the issue.

Yeah I used to do heavy compound lifting with good nights sleep, but it never changed anything. My estrogen, cortisol, TSH, and everything always stayed the same. Thanks, I will look into formestane.

have you had your test levels measured You could be a candidate for hormone replacement. OK test will give you more estrogen but its a question of balance. Looks like at the moment you have estrogen dominance , extra test would tilt the scale.

Get tested, get on HRT if you need it, and be sure your doctor understands the importance of controlling estradiol and gives you a prescription for Arimidex.

My testosterone levels are middle of the range. An AI maybe the thing to try. I don't think that will get the thyroid problem under control though. But we'll see. Thanks guys.

After reading some stuff at drlam.com, it looks like I may have adrenal fatigue, and an AI may make things worse.

I'm assuming you've had blood tests in the past right?

Anyways, the only real AI i see there is nolvedex but that's not going to help your libido anyways.
