Low glycemic carb WEIGHT GAINERS

ive found MHP: up your mass, and S.A.N. Myojuiced. but is that seriously all there is out there? i know how to make my own but id rather have premade. Anyone who can chime in on any others would be great, seems like theres almost nothing out there

I have looked thru them all as well, and i have been running UP YOUR MASS for 1 1/2 yrs. Its the only protien gainer that contains no maltodextrin, or the new sneaky name for maltodextrin, GLUCOSE POLYMERS. These ingredients are nothing but crappy sugars.

i have been adding a scoop of ON's casein to my before bed shake

Yup, that's what I was going to suggest as well. UP YOUR MASS has a solid ingredient profile.

There's another new gainer called bionic mass builder by revolutionary technolgy nutrtion, it has 100 grams of carbs and get this , the carbs comes from brown rice, sweet potato, and oatmeal. And the best part is that it does'nt have crap fillers like maltodextrin and dextrose.

wow, im surprised that there really wasnt much out there. Good to know theres the THIRD option risktaker listed "Mass builder" but its nearly 3 times the price

there was quite a few products i sifted through to see this and MANY other names rather than its WELL KNOWN names for destrose, Similarly its just the fact using malto which is the same and labeling it a complex carb (doesnt mean its low gi)...what jerks ha.. It really bothers me the lengths companies go to not just save a buck but outright mislead the customer. Gives me a damn headache sometimes lol

Im currently taking SAN Myojuiced , so far so good I use to use Monster Mass from Cytosport which is also really good, but I wanted to try something different. I also used Critical Mass Afterschock from Myogenix but I noticed it gave me a bit of a gut when I was on it so I definitely stopped using that stuff.

Genomyx is coming out with Glycemyx which I believe is low on the glycemic index?

Im interested. Up Your Mass was always my weight gainer because the carbs came from barley and bran - very low GI. What I did notice, and never really saw it a concern, is the protein was primarily from soy. I went to Universal Real Gains which was a maltodextrin product but the stuff was great. Love Universal products.

What I would love to find is bulk powder low GI carbs so Glycemyx may be of interest if thats true. All I can find is dextrose, maltodextrose, and waxy maize.

The factory that sells protein makes oat carbs and a few other lower GI options.

That real gains adds weight, we can both attest to that, & w/o makin you feel too full...

I enjoy up your mass a lot as well, it's very versatile if you ask me. Soy, & 5lbs is the only down fall u ask me...

I wouldn't buy a weight gainer based off GI. If you're making a proper weight gainer, fat and protein content should be high enough that the GI of the carb source is irrelevant.
