Anyone else think AS+Lowcarbs = pointless?
I'm a low carber (high fats; mainly Mono's and Saturated fats from grass fed beef and coconut; and the gains and lack of fullness is obvious.

Do you mean low carb bulking? Or do you never bulk?
I run low carbs during precomp and run a lot of gear low carbs just like too much t3 get you looking flat.
Hmm it shouldn't matter that much. Lack of protein would be a problem but not low carbs IMO.
You could aways do a little carb up pre wo.
Also as a long time gear user gains will also slow a lot over time. For this you would want to start mixing things up to keep body reacting anabolically.

Carbs is the only macronutrient humans DONT need.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a carb man, but you don't need them to grow especially when on steriods.

You youll make glucose from protein thru gluconeogenisis, and there are glucogenic amino acids, however the body then has to work like a bitxh to get all that ammonia converted to urea and excreted. Sure itll work, but its not healthy
Having your body run off ketone bodies for long periods of time is bad for you. Carbs are pretty necessary, henceforth why they are a primary fuel sorce. While running gear or doing a cut sure you can remove them, but living with carbs jn the diet is healthier, and makes much more sense when running aas. Having insulin rise is great for storage, and when you wanna get big, you wanna store. I can also certainly dwell deeper into the biochemistry of it if youd like (exercise phys/biochem dbl major)

No, that's absolutely ridiculous. The only thing that's going to cause you not to grow and gain muscles is lack of calories, it doesn't matter what the calories are coming from.

My roommate at Boise state during the summer just at cereal, top ramen, peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiches and was jacked. 6'4 240lbs pure muscle and took no supplements. When I suggested he take protein powder he didn't want to risk taking anything that could be banned by the ncaa(college football)

Were you running a calorie deficit on this? I'm currently in 1st week of a 5 day no carb and 2 day carb (all clean) but way under calories maintenance so not sure if I should up it.
Also did you run this diet for your full cycle?
Running TestE/Deca/Arim and have bloated about 4kgs, goal is to maintain muscle and shred fat.
I did a carb cycling diet 5 days no carbs, 2 days high carbs as a cutting cycle on msten/epi/tren.
I was seeing DAILY CHANGES in my appearance i was shredding fat off so quick. My lifts were steadily increasing (better then natty for sure) as well.
It worked great for me man. Im in my 3rd week of pct now, i havent lost ANY stregth, actually increased some lifts, and size is still all there, AND Im leaner then when the cycle ended! (Thank epic unleashed for that probly)
