Lost my mojo... help me find it!

I can't find my motivation.... I've not been around this board since the beginning of the year neither have I been training... I went through an unexpected job switch and although I'm all settle in the new job I've been wanting to get back in the gym but cant find my motivation do to so. Last month I was getting sick easily from the long hours I' was working but now (no more excuses) I have a little break and should use it to get back in shape. I train in A.M that's the best chance to get it done, so. Whats a good motivation trick you use to get up early and start lifting? Any and all suggestions are welcome!
 
Fix yourself a pot of coffee and turn on ESPN's "First Take." Within minutes, the java and Skip Bayless should have you either angry and/or disgusted enough to go to tear sh#t up at the gym.
 
Porn or ESPN.... hmm... that's a tough choice right there.... coffee is good and Skip Bayless just might do it,

Honestly I watch my fav porn, drink some coffee then hit the gym and think of my porn lol. It sounds really dumb but it works and gets the test up in the early am.

thats a crazy habit you there if you'd ask me... if I start watching porn I'm not leaving the house.. lol

lol.... we had one of those threads here before that was a good spot to ask about missing members but the mods didnt see it that way, this place sure has change from what it used to be but I'm still coming back for the knowledgeable members we got here.
 
I cant even function of a morning without immediately putting my ipod on and cranking some hard ****, that always wakes me up and gets me motivated enuff to cook breakfast..

Heres some motivation stuff you could use that I use to keep hitting the gym and stay on the right track
-Sign up for Rich Gaspari's text of the day, pretty kick ass stuff and they come around 6:30 in the AM for me atleast so pretty cool way to start off the day
-Try downloading some new music, I always want to go lift after I get some new tunes I really like
-Get a workout partner if you dont already so that will make you get there or else you let yourself and him down.

thanks for the tips, I subscribe to all of them except the txt msg thing, the problem there is that I should be done by 6:30am :D

I got a gym partner too but I got him on a SD cycle and I would not be able to keep up with him... the music tip is good, I got about 100GB of stuff there's gotta be something I have not hear yet :)
 
Having a good gym partner that will always wake you up every time you have to go to the gym, someone crazy enough to let you get out of bed. Boosting your sound system with all the sounds you need to be pumped up.
 
If I'm feelin sluggish, I drop down and do a few pushups... 10 to 20 of them and it pumps me up and makes me feel a lot better than I was. Do this. It helps.

The trick is to actually DO THEM.

I'm starting to think my gym motivation is related to prioritization, I've not done a good job at prioritizing my workouts, thats something i need to work on.
 
Good to see you back bro!!! as for motivation????? Look at the following already!!! Start a log and push baby push!!!!
 
thanks for the tips and advice guys they really worked, I've been to the gym 4 times since I started this threat 2 of those times at 5am which was what I need to get back in the swing of things, being around here on this board has helped to prioritize my gym activity, I was reading this post by a guy whos on a cycle right now and he says its hard for him to leave the gym, thats what I want :D
 
Agree with what's been posting, adding what hasn't

Set short term and long term goals. Make them, and hold yourself accountable to reach them.

Post them here so that WE hold you accountable to your goals.

Get to sleep early (can't wake up early if you don't go to sleep early)

If you watch tv, TIVO. Takes away the temptation to stay up late to watch 'insert show here.'
 
Glad to hear your back in it. I was in a bit of a slump myself a month or so ago, now I can't get enough of it. Got to make it a priority! I like to get it done first thing in the AM that way it leaves me no room to put it off or make excuses.
 
there one thing i do when i find that i need motivation, I have two posters that i look at and ask, "who do you want to be".

kinda like me but i:
wach my porn and have a coffie and my supp mix when i get up.
*preWO supp mix: 1g taurine, 0.5-1g beta alanin, 0.5 ALCAR, 2-3g creapure(creatine) 25g isowhey, 20g oatmeal or dextrose (somtimes)
also been using a scoop of Andraulic GT laitly and its not badd nether but ill still take my supp mix also.

then i work out about 1hr later (about 1.5-2hrs after I wake up)
and workotu to music, usually somthignthat has sexy girls. or ill play soem rap or heavy music and play porn of somesort to keep me going while I work out. (I workout at home)

at the min some music that gets you PUMPED!
think over your goals in BBING, look at some pics maybe of some of the great BBers.

I liek waching uncensored music videos that have some sexy girls. dailymotion.com is liek youtube but not so stright and have 18+ kinda stuff so i like alternating youtube and that one.
