Looking to make an oral solution with Vasopro and Yohimbine

What should I use as a solvent? I don't think water will work but is it really necessary to use something like Everclear (190 proof)? Will just regular Vodka work?
 
It's the easiest way I could figure to get small samples of it for someone to try out. See, I don't know how sensitive one of my clients is to this stuff so I was going to make a concentration of something around 3mg yohimbine/20mg ephedrine per milliliter then just give her a 1/2 dose in a small vial to try out. Also, it's easier (and probably more accurate) than mixing it into capsules which was my original plan.
 
You could get a tablet splitter for the ephedrine, but that would assume the epehdrine is equally distributed among the total area of the tab.

Forget putting the eph into solution. I just want to accurately and efficiently measure my yohimbine. I would just experiment with various solvents myself but don't want to waste the 1 gram of Y that I have.

Yohimbine HCL can be purchased in OTC tablet and capsule form at both 2.5 mg and 5 mg per tablet/capsule for around $20 a bottle of 100 (I won't mention vendors, but do a google search if you're interested). Why bother with 'perimenting when it's dosed near the level you want to try, and it's so darn inexpensive?

Well, I already have a gram of Y powder so...

And yes, I've had the pre-encapsulated kind. Buying in bulk powder is WAY cheaper. And I like "'perimenting", makes me feel like a mad scientist.
 
Okay, I should've just researched it myself in the first place. This is what I got:

Yohimbine.HCl ​

Description: alpha2-adrenoceptor blocker.
Chemical Formula: C21H26N2O3.HCl
Molecular Weight: M.W. 390.9
Solubility: Soluble in Water (10 mg/ml).

So, it's soluble in water. I'm assuming that the ephedrine is is soluble in water also because it's got an HCI salt.

EDIT: heh heh, Yep, ephedrine HCL is soluble in water. Well, I learned a lesson here. It's much better to research first! That is, look up answers BEYOND the search button on the message board.


 
Well, that's just fuckin great. The yohimbine did not dissolve. What a waste.
 
I guess I overreacted. This morning all the yohimbine is dissolved. Interesting. Maybe it has something to do with the 50ml of vodka I added to it (just a crap shoot) when it wouldn't dissolve but I doubt it. Live and learn. Is anybody still reading this thing?
 
dude, it's going to taste nasty. I've tried in water and rum 151 using a peppermint flavouring. Disolved fine but holy hell is it just nasty.

I couldn't do it anymore after 5 days. lol
 
How bout that! I added liquid peppermint flavor as well. Well, at least the concentration is still fairly high so I'd only need to drink about 1-2ml. That won't be hard to do. And keep in mind, rum 151 and vodka are quite a bit different as far as offensive flavor goes.

I'm still thinking that the added alcohol was unnecessary and the yohimbine just needed time to dissolve in the water. Anybody know for sure?
