Looking great after 5 weeks of TBol but not much weight gain?

So yesterday marks week 5 of my 8-week TBol cycle @ 50 mg/day (might be tempted to extend cycle to 9 weeks), and things are going great -- my whole body is looking leaner, more muscular, more vascular, and thicker pretty much everywhere (especially shoulders!). My stomach definitely looks leaner as well and I'm getting dangerously close to having visible abs. Strength is up on virtually every lift and all my limbs look noticeably bigger, but the weird thing is, the scale hasn't budged upwards by more than a few pounds. Is this because I'm simply not eating enough (I do cardio at least 5-6 days per week), or is TBol known for being more of a recomping steroid?

As far as diet goes, I don't maintain an itemized list of what I eat, but to give you an example, this is what I'll be eating later today after doing cardio (today is an "off" day from the gym) -- 8-ounce filet, bowl of chili, half-rack of baby back ribs, bacon cheeseburger (with a thick patty), and then a couple hours later I'll drink a ~40-50g protein shake mixed in skim milk, and then a few hours after that before going to sleep I'll have another protein shake with 40-50g of protein.

So I'm definitely eating a ton of food (at least 200g+ of protein), but is it possible that I need to be eating even more? Or should I stop doing cardio altogether? Like I said, I definitely look thicker and more muscular, but the lack of scale movement has me somewhat perplexed.

Thanks

Sounds like youre having a very successful recomp dude...scale weight up by couple of pounds...leaner look in midsection. If youve lost bodyfat, and scale weight has increased, then you have added lean tissue.

Theres not many single compound steronz that will add 10+lbs of lean tissue and have you lose midsection fat.

Yeah exactly this.....not sure why you are concerned. If you wanted an all out bulk then Tbol solo would have been a bad choice anyway. It’s a lean bulker and was never gonna add a tonne of mass. Bear in mind that a lot of the weight from dbol etc is water which you were never gonna get and it all sounds like it’s going great. Stronger, leaner, more vascular and thicker - Pretty much what most of us probably want from a cycle......

Ultimately diet and quantity of calories is the main factor in weight gain but there comes a point where your just adding fat rather than muscle so unless you track calorie intake more precisely it’s hard to known your in a small surplus. Imo just keep doing what your doing

How is the HCG going on the tbol cycle? And have you gotten bloods drawn yet on cycle? I'm really wondering how your bloods look, on top is the lethargy still lingering around or do you feel better?

Renew1 -- Yeah, I just upped the dosage by 10mg yesterday and will take 60 mg/day for at least this week. I might eventually work my way up to 70 or 80 mg.
50Magnum -- I increased my HCG injections to 500 IU 2-3x/week and that seems to have taken care of the lethargy. I also forgot to mention that I'm taking 60 mg EOD of toremifene. Haven't gotten bloods yet but planning on it at the end of cycle.
Nac and Whisky -- I agree, I would consider this cycle to be a success so far. I have definitely gained more muscle (and gotten more results in general) during 5 weeks of taking TBol than I got from 12 weeks of ostarine last spring.

Obviously, if you want to gain more weight (and give yourself the best chance at gaining more quality weight) then you need to increase kcals.

But doing so would potentially jeopardise your midsection. So it really comes down to whats most important to you right now.

Yea, it just sounds like your calories aren’t high enough. Obviously it’s treating you well though if you’ve leaned out, gained a few lbs, and gotten noticeably fuller. Increasing dosage a bit might also help.

Exactly. I mean we all fail some cycles in the beginning because it's just different to come off and learn how to keep everything, or at least look better than before. Tbol is not a strong bulker, it's alright but I wouldn't expect miracles. I don't think he had a fail run.

Sound like you’re not really sure what you want out of your cycle, it’s a hard to lose fat and gain weight at the same time. If I was you I would stop cardio, lift heavier and find a better diet.

Nothing wrong with a successful recomp if that's what you want

facts; 1st cycle doesnt have to be mass. If anything he could cut right now and then bulk natty afterwards(hormones have to recover though). I believe thats what Lee Priest did most of the time; get super fat during off season(most of the time natty) and use drugs during competition or for photo shoots.

Based on your post, I would say if you want the scale to move you need more carbs. When I say carbs I'm not talking about any carbs, I mean the good stuff; oats, rice, sweet potatoes. If you find the right balance fir your body you'll watch the scale move without getting fat. At least that was my experience with Tbol.

What you accomplished is exactly what I strive for. Leaning out while gaining maybe 2-3lbs, that is a successful cycle IMO. I would rather be lean and mean, than gain 20 lbs and eat like a hefer on a strong oral.
