long r3igf-1 questions i can't find definite answers for

By the way, i was thinking of taking all of the information that is eventually given in this thread. In turn making a new one with just one long post giving the information and the information provider in it. Maybe it could be turned into a sticky? Mods?

I think you are asking really great questions, with more to come i'm sure, and if you do compile it, i think it would turn out to be a very comprehensive guide for beginners

Zinc should be used while on igf to keep receptors refreshed.

Didnt mean your questions were stupid, but asking what injecting AA into your veins will do is a little superfluous

No biggie. You just said that it's a bad idea to inject in your veins and I wondered why that was the case. I didn't think it was a superfluous question. But I'm the kinda guy who likes to dig a little deeper sometimes and make sure I know why something works the way it does rather than just knowing it's a bad idea but not knowing why. If someone asks I'd like to explain it to them. And I've never injected anything and am not very familiar with AA.

Keep in mind that not everybody gets hypo from IGF-1 LR3. I feel virtually no different after I inject... I don't really get hungry or tired or anything. (Yes, the IGF is legit. I get it from the same source as Grunt and many others on this board.)

I've never felt any hypo at all on IGF-1, until today. Did 20 mcgs into each hamstring right after I finished my RDLs and my butt has been dragging ever since! Even after two Heavyweight Gainer shakes, I still feel tired (and hungary)!

Wonder why that happend today and never before?

I don't know if I remember the rules for AM correctly. I know that with other forums you can list the companies that make IGF. Anyways...point is...I was wondering if anyone had tried different companies and which one they liked the best. If that's a question that can't be answered I apologize.

When you aspirate...how far should you pull the plunger? Does it matter even? Just enough to notice it move? Or do you need to pull it up like 8 units to make sure?

Ok cool. What do you do if you DID hit a vein though? If you pulled in a good amount of blood then won't your igf look red and you won't be able to tell if you hit a vein again?

I've yet to hit one... But I imagine you could tell because the volume of fluid would increase the 2nd time.

If you are not in a vein you will find it is very hard to pull the plunger. You don't need much pressure, because if you hit a vein it will be easy.

Has anyone tried igf specifically for site enhancement? If so, how did you do that? Inject in the same muscle every day or EOD for growth?

Yeah I know. But don't most people inject whatever muscle they just worked out? So actually they're enhancing the entire body? I'm asking about a cycle geared towards gaining size in one specific body part. Like maybe someone's calves were really lagging. So they injected the IGF into their calves every day or every other day. No other body part for the whole cycle.

I don't know how much good it would do unless you worked that muscle out every day. Maybe Grunt will respond to this.

That's what I had assumed. There was a guy at my gym talking about doing this. I was just wondering if anyone on here had tried and what their results were. I think he was planning on calves. He was going to inject Mon, Wed, Fri and he was giong to work out his calves and inject into them on all of those days. I haven't spoken with him since then. Don't know if he actually went through with it. He actually mentioned pinning everyday AND working his calves out everyday. This guy I think pretty much had exausted all efforts of growing his calves though. He has like 14 or 15" calves and 18" arms. Pretty sad. I guess that's what happens though when you only work upper body the first 5 years of training though.

haha well genetically, they're one of the hardest body parts to grow...it would be pointless to train them every day...2-3x per week is plenty for calves...more doesn't equal better...andddddddd i dont even know why i'm saying this because its not you...i need to go to bed

Kinda a different direction here, but what about carb intake when using IGF-1 post workout? I have you can consume a pretty high amount of carbs and not worry about putting on fat. I am just wondering if it helps pulling in carbs to the muscles like insulin in anyway.

Haha yeah I would never do this. It just interested me that someone would try that. It just struck me as weird because this guy really knows his s**t. I couldn't believe he was going to be training calves 5-7 times per week.

Injection question. What are some things that could happen during injection that you shouldn't worry about? I mean, I've read that sometimes a little blood might come out after injecting because you hit a capillary or something right? Would there be any other good things to know reguarding something that might happen after injection? When should I worry and when shouldn't I? I've had shots before that bruised (mostly when having blood taken. Military doctors suck often times).

i didnt really think there was a difference for pct

the general concensus seems to be that 3x a week is the most cost effective and most effective for continued gains

the only reason to do more often that that such as 2x per day is for pre-contest/major fat loss

this is just what i've concluded from research, not what i know

Aspiration: Not so critical with peptides, important when injected oil based testosterone and such. Insulin in a vein would be a MAJOR problem. HGH and IGF in veins would not be dangerous, but you might feel it.

SC/SQ injections: when injecting into belly fat, the chances of hitting a vein are very minimal. If you have some blood, you may have nicked a surface vessel and that does not mean that the injection went into the vessel. I do not believe that diabetics are ever told to aspirate with SQ.

IM injections: If you hit a vein, most likely you will go through it and inject below. So if you aspirate clean, you can still bleed or bruise. If you hit a blood vessel, you will probably feel that as the veins have more nerves than the surrounding tissue.

Many think that one should do bilateral IFG injections. But others feel that the amount injected will saturate the available IGF receptors in the body and the net effect will be systemic. In that case, a single injection in the belly fat would provide the same result. We have no clinical research to guide this. The fact that some inject IM and have nice results, proves nothing and might be wishful thinking. But no harm in the IM injections either.
