What's the theory behidn this, I?
Just thinking that the acidophilus will promote digestion of the tabs easier and reduce some of the gas that I have been getting on them.

ugh this stuff gives me wicked wicked gas :far2t:
i still take em though
Take them with a meal nt. Also maybe cut back how many you take with each meal. If you do 2-4 with a solid food meal you should not be getting gas from them. Typically people get gas from them when they either take too many at a time or they take them on an empty stomach.

I heard a rumor that Steveoph may try chewing them?
i've chewed them too...surprisingly they are not as tough as they look...they disintegrated right after i crunched them...u wussies, they smell fine to me!![]()
sucks to hear some of you guys get gas from them, neither brand gives me gas. (bev and uni)
Me neither... Guess I'm lucky... Or unlucky? Room clearing is def a superpower...
Then consider me superman.
do you have your own cape?
Then consider me superman.
Does it provide enough thrust to fly?
well i've been downing 3 before each meal relatively gas free so i'm gonna up the dosage to 4.![]()
How's 4 workin' for ya?
pretty good actually.
i feel as if they help hold me over longer too...
although I've tried eating a few and it's nothing special...not a horrible taste just tastes like alpo....
just curious, how the hell do we know what alpo tastes like?
got a bet i wouldn't eat some dog food for twenty bucks....
so i ate it.
I take around 16-20 uniliver every day. I love them, once you start using them you just don't want to be without them.

Hg or UR, do either of you know how much Iron is in each tablet?

Not sure, but lemme see what I can find out...

The age old question. I have that answer here somewhere Steve. Let me look a bit. What I remember is that it is naturally occurring so the amount will vary a bit from batch to batch.
OK I found it. It's roughly 2 mg per Uni-Liver tablet. It is important to note that it is a naturally occurring type of Iron (Heme Iron) and is therefore extremely difficult to OD on if it is even possible. Also being that it is naturally occurring in the product the amount varies from batch to batch.

I'm so glad I got a case of these before the price went upI think they expire in 2013 or something like that. I'm sure they'll be gone by then

whats you guys opinion on taking 10 or so tabs with fish oil tabs at night before bed to slow absobsion
You could certainly try it. Although I would not recommend it. 3 or 4 is plenty. If you want more proteins and amino's than that I'd get them from a casein powder or some other source. 10 tablets at a shot is asking a lot of your digestive track.
The price went up? :frustrate:
cool il lower the dose to 4 and see how it goes
Yup. It's $14.95 now for 500 tabs. I bought 10 tubs at $8.95 a piece right after I saw other retailers bumping their prices up.
