Liquidex Question

I recently received my order of Liquidex, Liquinolva, and Liquiclen.

I like what I see in the liquinolva bottle, b/c I can actually see the powder in the solution when I shake it. With the liquidex, there is "ZERO" powder/settling. Is this b/c it is more soluable than nolva or should I be skeptical?

Oh, and my liquiclen looks like fine coffee grounds mixed with liquid.

Yes, thats what it should look like....the nolva shouldnt be totally soluable, and the adex should be. I have never seen clen that wasnt though.....It "can be" soluable like the adex, so you very well may have an issue there....bottom line is that it depends on your research company, and how good they are.

hmm..... sorry for bumping such a short thread, but this one caught my attention specifically. I have a bottle of tamoxifen I just ordered from a research company (the name of which I will not post as it is against board rules), but i'm pretty sure it is a different company than you used, judging by the product names. The solution has the generally smell and appearance of ethyl (or similiar short chain alcohol), but it is completely clear! Holy, I know you stated that it should be cloudy, so I wanted to know if this is normal or not?

Nolva does not disperse very well, so generally you can see the particles floating in it (or at the very least its cloudy). It does have the smell you indicated. Its quite possible that what you have is legit, though....

A few years ago, I had tamoxifen from a different supplier that tasted like rocket fuel or moon shine and burned my throat for 10 minutes after taking. That product didn't have any settling and I think it was legit. It was probably so acidic that it was able to disolve the tamox more than other products.

Thanks for the info on the Arimidex. I just thought I'd ask the question, but wasn't really concerned. I've had great experience with this source.

Maybe I will try a ml or two to see if its acidic like you indicated, I suppose if I look very closely I can see some fine particulate in suspension, or maybe not, I could just be paranoid. Almost everyone on this board, and some others, seems to agree that this supplier is legit for the most part, though, and some say it was slightly cloudy, while others say their's was clear. I believe the company is a former board sponsor, although I was not sure if they still are, and so I did not post the name.

Thanks for the replies.

really depends on concentration. if its 10mg/ml it could be clear but may not be, 20mg and higher no way.

TC has been solubilized in methanol at 50 mg/ml
(some heat may be needed) and in ethanol at 10 mg/ml with sonication; it is insoluble in ethanol at 50
mg/ml.3 Preparation and storage of a sterile 10 mg/ml solution of TC in absolute ethanol at 4°C was
reported.2

Yes, this is exactly what I was thinking, but is it possible that they have added an additional solvent to keep it evenly distributed in solution (such as peg300), as many people have reported the solution to taste very different than ethanol, and tamox is supposed to be tasteless, or at least almost right?
