Derek Poundstone injury. Scary sh!t. Hope him a speedy recovery. Invalid Link Removed
Wow...that really sucks. Yeah, hope he recovers strong from this. That's a helluva injury if it is as Thought...

Nice job on the squat lift.

Holy...

So thanks to u I have to adjust my plan for next week was thinking of pull a single pr on deadlift but now it's straight rep work till u pay a visit lol

Dmax or anyone else: poll time, what wraps should I buy?

Clearly was able to make "strong" wraps work (lillebridge knee wraps) today, but idk what else is out there. Open to suggestions. Shoot.

I like my grippers for general training then overkills, rhinos titans or something stiff for max effort

Edit: got a taste and now we are a wrap guy maybe

Is there a point to get multiple pairs? (i.e. a lighter and heavier wrap). Or will I just extend my wrap learning curve?

And I'm preparing for the future dmax. Next 20 week training cycle is already written. The first 10 weeks I'll have my wraps on next to none. Just some practice here and there. The final ten weeks will be a bit more involved.

I never contemplated having two pairs until now (training vs comp)

Only time I worried about having two pairs, was just as backup at a meet.

I'm all about 2 pairs. Sean1332 gave me some grippers and they are the cats azz, but they beat the shît outta me!!! So I use those on 1-2 rep range, and a lighter pair for heavy 3-5 rep. I did 3 reps in the grippers once and almost cried!

Sounds painful! You would have gotten a kick out of my face when my friend wrapped me as tight as he could. He said it looked like I saw a ghost

I agree about the grippers I just don't wrap them super tight cause if I do the rubber back feels like tiny razors that why I switch to overkills for Super tight wraps they feel comfortable to me

For you, I second grippers or blue arrows. You'd also like the Power Belly felonies or executioners in 2.5. Not quite as stiff as Lilkiebridge but they can stop you and spring you. I've never worn grippers on my knees, so I can't give a ton of feedback there, but it does seem like they would be stiff but not quite stop you.

Thanks!

Need to get that 5hundy in sleeves now.

:soon:

Well now at least you know what it feels like to have 500 on your back, so it shouldn't be too far off IMO. ;)

I have blue arrows, titaniums, eliteFTS Reds and eliteFTS kraits.

Arrows-super springy, can get ridiculous revolutions

Titaniums-still springy, not as much though. Feels like a slight stop to it(at least up to 425 lol). Solid wrap as well

Kraits-can not wrap good myself. When I get them wrapped it freaking hurts, and has lots of stopping power.

Reds-springy good beginner wrap so I wouldn't worry about them mr 500

Thanks, rob.

I'll probably snag the inzer grippers though, unless anyone think that's a bad decision.

I wrapped a kid with reds at his first meet last year. I felt bad for him that he had to wear such weak wraps. I really annihilated his knees too just to give him some kind of help. I really do like my gripper wrist wraps. You could do a lot worse and you can get real fancy tread wrapping with no slips. Might not even have to chalk your knees with the grippers.

I use apt konvicts 3.0m. I have 2.5 titan titaniums i feel they are so light.

You self wrap on all of these? That's the one thing is I can't freaking wrap really tough wraps, and when I get them wrapped at the gym it's always some really strong dude that is like trying to pr on how freaking tight he can make it lol. Meanwhile I'm just worried my knee cap will be on the side of my leg lol

Yes i self wrap until just before a meet. The konvicts arnt to bad. Just gotta really give some crank. I dont get the support from them i get when someone else wraps em. But for now im just doing moderate wraps and leaving material to spare. More of a groove check then the carryover atm.

I also have the kraits. But i cant wrap them nor can my training partners lol. So they are pretty useless atm.

Continued deload.

It's relaxing, at the very least. I jut watch YouTube or listen to music. I'd like to think it's promoting recovery, but it's too early to say.

I want to start getting in some walks in the park as it gets nicer. That could be good scenery for that sort of thing.

Thank god for phones. Cardio on treadmills without entertainment is like watching paint dry.

Here u go
