Dude the best line I ever used was " Smile have some fun " If they smile thats a GO!!!! If they roll their eyes their a B$%&* and you dont want any part of that anyway. You know, I have been, I guess you can say in despair at times, but I can honestly say that my standards do not stoop to that. I just go on a trip somewhere new to break the dry streak (FSU, UCF, back home to Miami, etc). Being in a new place gives you a starting over feeling, if you will. This in turn makes you forget about what was going on before, where you were, & gives you a new sense of confidence.
I can honestly say that I have never, or almost never (not that I can recall), hooked up with a girl when I was inebriated that I would not have done over again sober & I have moderately high standards compared to my boys.
The dry streaks don't really affect me much, I focus on other goals & when it breaks, it breaks. They usually don't last long either.
