Libido Enhancers

What is your fitness like? Supplements don't fix everything.

I find a lot of people who suffer these issues are unhealthy, diet or fitness wise.
A mate of mine told me after he began running again, his libido increased majorly. Just a thought.

Good discussion

I have ordered a bottle of Alphamax. Should I add a tribulus supp too (since it doesn't contain any?

It's good your GF understands. It pays to be as open as possible on things like this. If you're not interested in having sex with her, make every other effort to make her feel loved and cared for. Spend quality time together and get as intimate as you can.

The other things will remedy eoth time, but things like that you'll never get back if you let them die

Those are definitely all helpful ingredients for libido. There are also a few natural anabolic products available that can help quite a bit with libido. I would check out Alphamax XT. It contains a great natural testosterone profile including L-Dopa, Longjack, and Stinging Nettle, which can help increase sex drive and libido. Alphamax XT also contains a natural AI that can help limit cortisol and estrogen, which can also help increase libido.

If you're looking for fast acting product, I would try out yohimbine hcl. It might not be as effective due to low libido, but it can help with blood flow
Yohimbine does work great. It can give you a bit of anxiety and insomnia depending on dosing time.

Would not combine with a SSRI

Personally I always get a a huge libido boost with a bottle of Iforce Tropinol which is a Fadogia based supp, but it also has a decent Epimedium (Goat Weed) extract, plus Forskolin. It is sold as a test booster, but I think it is more of a libido booster TBH. It doesn't work right away, but after about a week you will notice the effect.

Cnidium Monnieri is another one that is not yet mentioned that always gives me a really good libido boost, and doesn't take days to kick in. I use the Barlowe's brand.

Worst case, see if your doc will write you a Cialis script, or do some "research" online to get some liquid Cialis probably save yourself money in the long run.

Get yourself on Swanson Vitamins and just load up on Horny Goat Weed Extract, MACA Root, Tongkat Ali, and anything else on sale.

Forms of Yohimbine are better for erections, not really libido (per my experience).

High dose yohimbe was the only thing I found to reverse SSRI induced loss of libido, but the side effects are very unpleasant.
Look into a 5-ht3 antagonist, that is probably the only thing that will help in your situation.

Seems to fit the data, but I would advise caution with this one

Is that due to its effect on 5ht receptors? That would be my guess and would agree but I'm curious if you are thinking the same thing

Yeah, absolutely. It has the potential to potentiate the effect of the SSRI, which would need to be discussed with a doc.

Interestingly, we did not see any worsening of anxiety symptoms in this study. alpha2-antagonists have been shown to induce panic attacks in susceptible individuals (Krystal et al, 1992); however, we did not see any significant increase in panic attacks or anxiety ratings on the HARS. In fact, there was a significant improvement in HARS over the 6-week course that appeared independent of whether or not yohimbine was administered. Yohimbine has also been reported to ameliorate antidepressant-associated sexual dysfunction (Hollander and McCarley, 1992; Price and Grunhaus, 1990)

Yohimbe is known to cause anxiety in high dosages and probably in low doses to anxiety/depressed people. I wouldn't suggest playing with fire at a gas station? there is a strong link between anxiety and depression, both treated with SSRI's. If you're going to take yohimbe to help with erections, might as well get off SSRI's completely cause you're being counterproductive by taking yohimbe

I hate to be the Debbie Downer but it only got worse to the point where I lost all interest in sex. I could watch porno and not even care and I literally stopped checking out women (and no i'm not gay). Only time i'd be into sex is when i've been drinking. It's nothing wrong with your tool its all the mind and it goes far past the saying "all in the mind" its neurological not psychological.

SSRI's is tricky though, it effects everyone different and every SSRI can effect you differently too. My experience may not be anything like yours.

I agree - stress can cause physiological adaptations and downstream effects that can manifest itself in poor mood, anhedonia, low libido, etc. When people are stressed, CRH (Corticotropin-releasing hormone) hypersecretion can occur which can inhibit gonadal, thyroid and growth hormone axes at the hypothalamic level, as well as many other effects that can have cause a poor libido indirectly (i.e. insomnia, inhibition of vasodilatory effects of nitric oxide, etc).

This totally seems logical. Has anyone tried LiquiCia?

Yes, good stuff just need to be wary of where you buy it. Some works great others not so much.

Need to be sure you research your dosages and know how much to use, but benefits of liquid is that you can take very specific dosages

Most reputable peptide websites sell it, but caution to be sure you are getting what you purchased.

Don't want to post more as not sure of rules

I wouldn't recommend yohimbine to someone with depression and anxiety either. I can't take more than 2.5mg once a week or it makes me extremely irritable.

What I recommend for OP is to try single ingredient products to see what works for you before trying combo products. I'd start with Maca it's pretty cheap. Long Jack, bulbine and Tribulous have worked best for me for rock hard errections. They used to boost my sex drive but I think I've just gotten desensitized to them because now my libido is pretty lousy. My problem is because of high antihistamine use due to my severe year round allergies.

I can recommend brands i use if you're interested

Hey thanks for your input. What brands would you recommend? I think I will try Maca first.

Hey I've been struggling with low sex drive and difficulty maintaining an erection due to my antidepressant. I know the easiest solution would be to switch antidepressants but this is the only one that works for me.

Anyways my relationship is being effected because of this and I'm looking for a natural alternative to Viagra. Do you have any recommendations?

So far I've gathered that L-Arginine, Horny Goat Weed, Maca, and Tribulus have been found effective. This product seems to have them all. What do you think?

why not just tell your doc what is going on and get the Viagra? ed is common on anti depressants and I'm sure your doc is aware of this-tell him your inability to perform is stressing you out, that should do the trick...I recommend splitting 100mg tabs in half, 50mg is plenty for me and I don't get the sides I do at full dose---plus the prescription will last twice as long-Viagra is expensive and you will only get so many a month!!!

also taking with grapefruit juice will enhance affect....

I've tried Maca by Now Foods. It worked best to increase sensitivity, something SSRI antidepressants and antihistamines greatly reduce. Now makes a certified organic Maca 6:1 extract that might be better than their plain Maca I tried.

For Long Jack I like Bulk Supplements brand best because it's quality stuff at the best price I've found for LJ. They sell 100g for around $24. It tastes nasty but it's easy to put in capsules. You can find it in Amazon.

For Bulbine, I like Serious Nutrition Solution. They use the patented Prolensis. Just checked amazon and they lowered the price to $16 a bottle down from $21. That's a good deal!

For Tribulous extract the best deal is from Swanson vitamins. They sell 500mg, 60 caps for under $7

Forgot to mention selegeline.
It brought my libido back from the dead and made me feel like a teenager for about 2 years until it's effects diminished altogether.
It is a MAO-B inhibitor,so I would check with your doctor about possible interactions with the antidepressant you are taking.

1 More Repp Tried send you a PM, your box is full...hope I don't get slapped for this...I use the gelatinized Black Maca from The Maca Team. If you have trouble digesting Maca, go for the gelatinized version, if not, get the raw powder. Read what they have to say, it's good info.

I'm pretty sure mixing MAOI's and SSRI is a no go but I've heard great things about the Selegeline.

Just cleared my inbox! Thanks how long did it take for you to notice effects?

Well, considering Maca is a food and not a drug, it takes time...for me, IIRC, about 3 weeks I guess. You should really go to that site and read up; they have a lot of good information about all aspects of Maca.

Anyone try enclomiphene? Trying to avoid TRT at this point
I've been using it off and on for just over a year now and have been very satisfied with it. My test levels aren't what they used to be but aren't low enough to go on trt so that's why I started taking it.

Energy, recovery, mental clarity, sleep quality, workout results all appeared to be improved. Over time I found that my weight was creeping up (in a good way) while I also appeared to be leaning out around the midsection. No change at all in regards to libido to report. I haven't experienced any sides at all and over all feel fantastic while on.

All that being said I have some reservations about going on and never going off (essentially perpetually blocking the estrogen receptors). I've tried 5 day on/2 days off and then taking a short break vs. taking it daily followed up with a longer break. What I've been doing of late is taking it daily for 60 days (60 caps per bottle) and then taking off for at least 30 days. I'm taking it at 12.5mg but I've seen some guys report seeing satisfactory results at 6.25mg.

I've found through trial and error that for the most part I don't feel all that much different for about the first 4 weeks after going off but from that point on I notice that I start feeling worse the longer I'm off presumably because at that point my test levels are declining. As soon as I go back on I notice that within a week my sleep quality improves.

Searching around online I see guys reporting that they feel great on it and others saying that they hated it. Fortunately I fall into the former category. There also seems to be some serious nocebo effect going on with enclomiphene. Some of the people who say that they didn't like it seemed to imagine that they were experiencing every side effect under the sun often within a matter of days. I saw one post on reddit where some guy claimed that enclomiphene gave him floaters...10 minutes after his first dose which is obviously impossible.

I’m gonna start with 6.25mg once a week for a couple of weeks and then slowly titrate up to twice a week or potentially 12.5mg weekly. Gonna see how it all feels

Hopefully libido and energy start creeping up as well

What else you guys got? Need libido up and refractory period down
Arimahex from Apex Alchemy has me insanely ready. Pulling me off my GF is like trying to pull apart a grilled cheese sandwich. So many creampies I should open a bakery.
