Hockey's pretty big in Boston and Massachsetts in general. A lot of the country's top high school and college programs are located here. I can think of at least 10 rinks within a half hour of where I live. I think its popular in Michigan and Minnesota too but I'm not sure about the rest of the country.

Well like I said I live in Georgia. So I dont exactly see much hockey. None of the high schools in my area have hockey.

Well it is available here just not in schools. I had a friend who played youth hockey. With that said I had no idea about it before I knew him. I would say football is king where I live.

I'd say football outweighs hockey in terms of popularity here too.
 
Ive always been a hockey fan.....Growing up, the patriots and red sox stunk....The celtics were good in the 80's but i wasnt a basketball fan. I grew up watching ray bourque as a rookie, hockey is always been my #1

Marchand definitely seems a little "out there". Being a B's fan I have to dislike the habs. It's a good *****ry and usually an exciting matchup to watch.

Def not hating on Chicago. Minus Kane they have a great young team built around awesome Canadian kids...toews, keith and seabrook

Could be but I doubt it. The B's have yet to play up to their potential (especially Thomas) and they were in this same situation several times just last year. Experience goes a long way.
