Saliva test results from diagnos-tech

This seems weird to me but here they are:

Cortisol:

7-8 am 1 range 13-24
11-12 am 79 range 5-10
4-5 pm 13 range 3-8
11-12 pm 67 range 1-4

that cycle could not be more bizarre

dhea >25 range 3-10

insulin fasting <3 range 3-12
post prandial qns range 5-20 whats does qns mean???

progesterone 57 range 22-100 at least one is normal

total salivary SigA 12 range 25-60 never heard of this one

Giladin AB, SigA 4 negative borderline 13-15 negative is good?

thyroid tests pending

this all seems crazy to me. Am I correct that this is totally screwed up?

Any comments?

IMO saliva testing is most reliable for cortisol, but even that doesn't seem true in your case. Personally I've had more consistent results with ZRT:

[ame=http://www.amazon.com/Adrenal-Function-Test-Full-Cortisol/dp/B00025OBSU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1217368198&sr=1-3]Amazon.com: Adrenal Function Test (Full Day Cortisol + DHEA): Health & Personal Care[/ame]

I use serum testing for hormones... if your doc won't do it, check Invalid Link Removed

does that mean I get the $200 back that my insurance company fraudulently denied payment of?

I have seen claims that saliva testing is not valid, period.
(dr John)

I have seen claims that cortisol in saliva testing accurately represents free cortosol in (majority of) people who do not have overly high (serum) (CBG) Cortisol Binding Globulin.
(Chillin)

CBG test can be done once.

I have seen Genova Diagnostics, Cheef Medical Officer,
desparing about accuracy of saliva testing, and ordering 3 sequential tests plus average, just to get some info.
Patrick Hanaway, MD

so it is impossible for these results to be accurate?

Should have taken that 200 bucks and added 25 to it for a rhiens urine test
