KLEEN - STRONG BODY STRONG MIND!

Thanks, yeah I tend to look bigger than I am due to having small joints and a large rib cage. I am somewhat barrel chested with narrow hips and tiny elbows everything just appears to be bigger.

As far as thriving to archive a physique like that, I think you can definitely do it. Just need to find that method of dieting for you that is intense enough that you like it but not so intense that you can't maintain it. I think your current strategy with more calories on the workout days might be a good one for you in that aspect. I had a friend do it like that he was 6' and about 240 and he took in 5000 calories EOD right after his workout for 3 months and won a transformation contest. He added a little muscle and dropped a lot of fat doing it, and that was without any cardio.

You and I have close to the same bone structure. small bones, joints & large rib cage for our size. (Got it from my mom's side) short wide Germans. Just wish I had the muscle you have. Hell you haven't worked out in like 6 months and look better than me.
Some day brother some day! lol

NO!!!! That picture was from last year. If I looked like that right now I would be pretty stoked and not considering trying to grow into a recomp but just focusing on gaining LBM. I honestly think from our last pics that we are relatively close right now in composition. I am probably just a little thicker front to back or something. Wherever I am holding size that is giving me the weight advantage over you.

That pic is the goal for how I hope I will grow using a staggered diet approach, I am 209 now but not as lean but if I gain to 215 without adding fat I should be right at that size and condition. Thinking along the lines of +20%/-10% for training and off days. That way hopefully I will only gain muscle and ot fat. Then once I am in that situation I will push the calories a bit more for growth.

I think I have a similar structure too (under all that fat), It may be a blessing.

Yeah definitely, we have discussed the similarities between our physiques before. For on there is no way that any of the 3 of us can ever not look powerful unless we got sick and lost an unhealthy amount of weight. We all have good strong yolks, our shoulders, traps, and back thickness are all pretty well developed. Kind of nice to look powerful even when out of shape or having not lifted in a while!

Okay so even though my diet has changed I seem like I am still leaning out a bit but it could just be muscle re-inflating a bit. Either way my chest seemed to stick out a little further over my abdomen this morning. So it made it seem flatter, and my arms and shoulders were looking pretty good.

Last night should have been an off night but I needed to finish my pump sets for shoulder and arms so I went ahead and knocked them out real quick to keep weekly volume as designed.

None of the warm up sets are shown, but done with minimal rest and just to get blood into the area before working set. Since weights were not heavy in general an extensive warm up was not needed.

Performed with 3-0-1-0 tempo

Wide Grip Military Press - 85 x 24 + 6 low end partials
Extreme Shoulder Stretch 60-90 seconds

Super Set
French Curl Bar Hammer Curls - 77 x 22+7 bottom end partials
- done as continuous set
Extreme Biceps Stretch 60-90 second
Rope Triceps Extensions 4 plates x 15+5 bottom half partials 5 full ROM + 5 partials
- done as continuous set
Extreme Triceps Stretch 60-90 seconds

Knees to elbows from a hang - 16 reps

Pumps in shoulders and arms were pretty awesome. I could definitely feel my muscles expanding and filling after every one of the extreme stretches too!

Tonight is load for upper body and pump for lower. My legs are still sore... of course! So that is going to be a challenge, and I fully expect that I might be tossing cookies after the pump sets for legs. That is going to be A LOT of lactic acid build up, the likelihood of getting gassed out and needing a puke bucket is pretty high. Hell I might take a puke bucket to the gym with me... Try the old Ralph and Rally if need be! Thanks goodness I started on the lower volume tier because at least this week I only have to do 1 Pump set for thighs, anda pump set for the weaker of the 2 out of the quads and hams! So that will probably keep me from puking this week. Calves are not a consideration as far as things that can make me sick.

I think I may go with Hack Squats for the thigh exercise, and maybe some Leg Extensions. I think that will make sense after having deadlifts for back thickness in my loading sets. The hams will get plenty stimulus there!!!!

Of course the pump work also has a lot to do with what is open at the time. Which is cool, I like having the flexibility. When I have to adjust from the program I am on it annoys me but this one is designed that other than the load exercises all other exercises are free to be swapped out at will.

Last night was Upper Body Load Day, I have to admit I was surprised by how heavy the weights felt but with the solid pump work I did over the prior two days it makes sense that my numbers would be down a little more than expected.

Here is how it all went down. I did building warm up sets for the exercises first.

Load Sets = Fail between 6-12 reps 2 mins rest, body part completion immediately followed by 60-90 seconds stretching
Chins - 3 WU, BWx9
Isolateral lever machine Rows - 2 WU, 115x9 per side
Hanging Stretch
- Chins were an okay number, not excited about them or unhappy considering me being on the comeback trail. The IsoLateral Rows It was hard to tell because I am used to using Hammer Strength and this was a complete knock off with some jacked up leverage points. Basically if you actually grab the handles to row you would have to do a hammer curl to complete the row. I had to reach down much lower on the apparatus to even get my lats involved. Plus the seat was not adjustable. I will choose a different rowing machine next time.

Bench - 3 WU, 225x7
Occluded chest stretch - I was really surprised here by how weak my benching was. I was expecting between 10-12 reps here.... thought it might even be too light... I think it will go back up quickly. Plus I have not been eating enough the last two days... Fat content has been way too low in the early part of the day.

Seated shoulder press machine 18x11 - not sure of weight but plate said 18... guessing 135 to 150
Occluded shoulder stretch The machine has a nice angle you can press back into and involve the rear delts. So I like using it but it doesn't list the weight on the plates on the stack. That occluded extreme shoulder stretch not only pumped my shoulders but my forearms and biceps filled right up after I let go of the barbell too!!!!

Pump Sets = 15-25 reps some can be partials to keep consistent tension, 1 minute rest, and 60-90 second stretching upon Pump circuit completion.
Hack Squats - 3 WU, 225x16 + 3 partials
SLDL 1 WU, 95x22 - about 8 were slower partials in the money spot of the contraction
Calves 2 WU, 4rth plate from bottom 27 reps
Quad and Ham and calf occluded stretches

I am getting my carbs and protein in post workout for sure but have been skimping way too much on fats during the day so as of today I am going to focus on fixing that, and getting my calories up. Hard to break that IF mentality of not eating earlier in the day. I just forgot to eat my early meals the last 3 days. Speaking of, I am off to get myself a nice big omelet!!!!

Just adding info in here on the set up for this blast.

Here is the basic Load Exercise Selection Template for the 2 Load Days as I have them set up.

Fortitude Training Blast Basic Version - Load Go To Exercises & Rotation Template: A=Week1, B=Week2, C=week3, then repeat A,B,C

Loading Sets = 6-12 reps @2min rest for legs / 90 seconds for Upper Body

Week 1
Load Day 1 A - Back Squats - Hack Squats - LL Curl - Band Adductors - Standing Calf Raise
Load Day 2 A - Chins - Supported Rows - Flat Bench - DB Press

Week 2
Load Day 1 B - Leg Press - Leg Ext. - Std Leg Curl - Cable Adductors - Leg Press Calf Raise
Load Day 2 B - Deadlifts - Neutral Grip Pull Ups - *Incline DB Bench - Wide Shoulder Press

Week 3
Load Day 1 C - Hack Squat - B Split-Squat - *SLDL- Adductor Machine - Soleus Machine
Load Day 2 C - Pull Ups - Cable Rows - HS Decline Press - Machine Shoulder Press

DC Extreme Stretching on Loading Sets, and Occluded Stretching for Pump Sets; that is the stretching plan right now and Muscle Round days I will do whichever feels intuitive at the time.

Pump Work 15-25 reps and 1 minute rest
Upper Loading Day has Pump Sets for Lower Body and Lower Loading Day has Pump Sets for Upper body. The pump sets are done in a circuit style and chosen on the fly from all different angles. Upon completing all pump sets you stretch each muscle group worked in the pump sets.

Muscle Round Days = 2 a week are also rotated frequently but progress should be monitored every time you repeat a muscle round and you should try to beat the log book on these. Stretches done after a body part is completed.

I had the night off last night and have to admit it was glorious to get some rest. My body is definitely responding to the training and things are filling back up a bit. I have actually been looking forward to training again which is nice.

My hamstrings are nice and sore today, not horribly but just enough to let me know those pump sets took their toll. My pants are getting tighter in the legs, and I am filling my shirt out a bit more. Of course I have increased carbohydrate intake substantially since I decided not to keep focusing on weight loss. So I am sure that is where a lot of that filling in is coming from.

Today is a Muscle Round / Pump workout for Lower body. Exercises Depend on what is open at the gym when I start warming up. They have this lever squat machine I have been eyeballing so I think I might try that out. Pumps Sets for Quads will most likely be leg extension or sissy squats, and some sort of leg curl for the Pump set on Hams. Calves are an MR too but not sure what exercise I will do.

I have to be honest here and say that I probably wont push my calves anywhere near as hard as other body parts because they grow pretty easily for me. I used the whole stack on calf raises for muscle rounds last time and never reached a failure point but they were definitely taxed. I am not likely to load up a leg press with 14 plates of weight just for a set of calves either when mine are pretty developed. What I might do is take a 9 inch gutter nail to the gym with me and use it to pin a weight plate to the weight stack on the standing calve raise. That's the easiest method of increasing the load I think.

What I can say is that so far I am enjoying the training. Once I have done a couple more workouts I will be more used to it and able to up the intensity even more. That is what I am really looking forward to.

I know F#*k Me right!!!! This is what my calves look like year round with no training. They got up to 19 inches the one time I really pushed them to grow but they just looked stupid. Only difference in how they look now is they are hairier!

Now that is a set of Diamonds!

I just posted up my final review in my Lipodrene Extreme log, all in all that was a great product. I really enjoyed it quite a bit.

Here are the basics of that review.

Appetite Suppression 10/10 - I mentioned how awesome I thought the appetite suppression from this product was many times before I went to Austin to help with the office move. On more than one occasion I missed meals due to forgetting to eat... that is pretty impressive when in a deficit. Well to add to that while in Austin I was working 13-16 hour days, and would end up working non-stop. Often not stopping to eat with others and just kept moving. I took protein bars with me and would just occasionally have one here or there. However I found myself fasting for hours on multiple occasions and never once felt hungry.

Energy / Stim effect - 8/10 - I would have to say just for energy provided that I might give this about a 8/10 it give PLENTY of energy, but I can think of others that definitely provide more of a boost. Keep in mind more is not always better!

Thermogenic Effects - 7/10 - others may notice more, but I did not ever really get that "hot feeling" or break a sweat at any times that I would not normally. If I were to guess the thermogenic effect of the product is not the main MoA of this diet pill.

Feeling/Mood - 9/10 - This is another place I felt that Lipodrene Extreme shined. I felt good on the product at all times. I never had a day where I felt too stimmed, or just off in some way. I never experienced any discomfort, or edginess that can come on with many diet pills. I was always comfortable no matter how stimmed I was, or whether I took it on a empty stomach or anything. This is just a really great feeling diet pill. The best way to describe the feeling on Lipodrene Extreme was that your system was just running at an elevated level. Everything up-regulated just a bit with no discomfort, and well no appetite!

So when I combine these 4 factors I think are important for a diet product I come up with an average score of 8.5/10 I would say that is pretty damn good!

On to the current log...

I got a 20% off discount code from True Nutrition this weekend. I dropped about $200 on protein, carbs, and various staples. Can't pass up a 20% off at TN!!!! No way! Too bad I didn't have some extra cash I would have gotten more staples.

Had some chaos this weekend and only got one Muscle Round workout in but hit up full body to get everything hit.

Chest Press Machine - MR
Lat Pull Down - MR
Shoulder Press Machine MR
Seated Row MR
Side Raises - Pump
Hacks - MR
Leg Extension - Pump
Leg Curls - Pump

So part of the drama this weekend was the Elderly Vietnamese guy who had been staying in Mom's room at the Nursing home with his wife came over in the middle of the night grabbed her face and tried to kiss her and stuck his tongue in her mouth... When she told us about it we called the police. The nursing homes response to it was just to move rooms and let the guy stay there. They didn't even notify us that anything happened because she "signed herself in" I yelled at that nurse and told her she was full of SHlT!!!! That they call us for everything else they need and that they were trying to sweep this under the rug! Now that son of a bitch is still staying in the old room with his wife. He is apparently also pretty out of it too and so the cops didn't take him to jail. Said the judge would not charge the man due to his poor mental faculties, and it seemed he was confused... She agreed not to have him taken in since the police pretty much said nothing would happen. So they let it go... I told the workers up there if I see that old man near her, or approaching her again that I am phucking him up like an able bodied man that sexually assaulted my Mother In Law. So most of the weekend was spent up there with her making sure she felt safe and was okay emotionally. She was understandably scared by all of it.

Will be hitting up Lower Body load and Upper body Pump tonight.

Well, I am having some second thoughts about this gym situation, I went to try and work out last night and there simply were no damn weight plates to use! It was supposed to be my leg press day and there were 2 big guys benching, and 2 guys squatting, 1 guy deadlifting. Every damn 45 in the building was in use!!!! I waited around for a little bit to see if I could get in but everyone had several sets to go... Of course lots of PL guys there so that is to be expected. Problem is that the owner rightfully so wants to keep most machines plate loaded. I like that concept for sure. However he has nowhere near enough weight plates and I am considering retiring the membership and just working out in the garage again. There have just been too many times where I had to leave the gym and modify my workout to do it in the garage. So I might as well just re-select my Go To exercises to stuff I have available at home.

Anyway, in a moment of brilliance I stormed out frustrated, I look back over my shoulder looking at the gym shaking my head because I am just annoyed and walk right into one of those steel parking rods someone had ran into and bent over the sidewalk. So the sharp ridge of it implanted itself in my shin! Now, I am bleeding, my leg is swelling and I am PISSED!!!! Luckily it was not as bad as when I broke that chip out of the other one but it ruined any chances of working out since it was now throbbing and bleeding a bit. So last night I ended up just icing my leg all night and trying to fall asleep after taking Mesomorph without getting to workout!!!!! (Queue mission impossible theme music.)

We have a fitness connection right down the road and it has awesome equipment for $10 a month but they open at 5:00AM which is not early enough for me to get my full workout in the morning, and it is definitely too crowded in the evenings to get in my current program. However they also have a swimming pool, and a racquetball court. I think I want to teach my daughter to play for a little fun time cardio! I haven't played in years but man I used to love it!!!! So I think I am going to cancel the one in the warehouse for a while, then hit up Fitness Connection. The weekends and stuff would make it worthwhile, that and nothing says I couldn't go up to the gym at 4:30-4:45 and start warming up so I can just jump right into the workout when they open the doors. Plus there is a 24 hr one about 10 minutes drive away too. Be better than nothing for horrible weather days, and I can still save some money.

Oh yeah, as promised months ago, here is an update pic of my Pup, his tiny ruler Tinkerbell, and of course my beautiful daughter.

Wraith turned 11 months yesterday and is sitting just under 120lbs right now. Ain't he purdy!!!! Not as purdy as my daughter but he is shaping up into a damn good looking dog.

You was about to train legs -now icing them. Did you scream -or something? When something like that happens to me, I normally let out a window shattering cry, followed by LOT of cursing, like the Hulk right before the transformation, LOL!

Oh you know I did! Something along the lines of:

OOOOWWWWW!!!!! DAAAAMMMMNNNN IT!!!!!!! Muther Fukk! Son of a bitch, you c0ck sucking bastard, mofo, limp dick piece of shlt, why the fukk are you sticking out on the mutha fukking sidewalk!!!!

The knot on my leg sticks out about 3/8's of an inch.

Great final review of the Lipodrene!

That pic of your daughter and the 2 dogs.. the one on the floor looks like a giant!

Yeah, he is only 11 months and 120lbs right now. Standing on all fours his eyes come right up to kitchen counter level. He just has to raise his head a little to see what is on the counter.
Fly up to Toronto, you can workout in the basement with me! lol
That would be awesome!

Last night I decided to modify the workout for the garage. I got a much better workout in the garage, even though it was whooping my ass!

Warm Up sets were not listed but was typically 3 for load exercises and 1-2 for the pump work.

Leg Extensions 5th from last plate x12
Back Squats 265x13 - going up next time for sure!
Extreme Quad Stretch

Lying Leg Curls 75x13 - going up
Extreme Stretch

Pump Work
Chin Grip Lat Pull Down - 12 plates x 21 +4 partials
Pec Deck - 9 plates 15 +9 partials
Occluded Stretches

DB Side Raise 20x18 +7 partials
Xtreme Stretch

Rope Triceps Extension 4p 15+5partial, 5 full rom, 5 partials
Olympic Bar Curl 50x15 + 5 top end partials + 5 full rom + 5 bottom end partials
Occluded Stretches

Notes - I thought that the leg extensions being first before the squats might take more of my strength but it didn't seem that way so going back up to 275 next time.
Hamstrings are tight and what are hardest to maintain stretches on.
Extreme / Occluded Stretching is as strenuous on the system as the work sets some times. I dump sweat during these from how much stress they put the body in.
My work capacity still needs to come up but it is definitely improving.
I need to work on some easy adductor options for training in the garage.
When I am about done, calves are the first thing I drop from the session. Although they are quite developed I need to try to make training them at least once or twice a week a priority.

Also I have the dates for the Meet, and the competition I plan to do. The Powerlifting Meet will be March 24th in Austin, Tx and the bodybuilding competition is Nov 3rd in Arlington Tx. So I have a lot of work to do!!!!

I plan to start some orals on the 16th, and bump my TRT up to higher cruising dose. Really start focusing on a season of growth!!!!

Right now I am contemplating running this beast right here....

You can't read it but there are 2 servings per day. Each serving has Dimethazine 30mg, Epistane 30mg, Furazabol 150mg, CarboPool absorption enhancer, and laxogenin. So a daily total of DMZ 60mg, Epistane 60m, Furazabol 300mg

Only issue there is I don't know that I want to run all of that at that high of a dose or just run 1 cap a day. I remember guys blowing up off of this stuff... I also have some extra Epistane from OL, some LGI DMZ, as well as a couple other options. I may choose to just run 1 serving of this a day and add 10mgs of Epistane in a 2nd dose later. Either way the point is that I am going to be doing blast and cruise stuff for a while and will running TRT at a higher cruise dose over the next year.

I just picked up some Clear Liver Support from Gun Show Supplements on Amazon. Has 250mg Tudca and 250mg NAC per caps, 90 caps per bottle for $45. That's really hard to beat for 22.5grams of both TUDCA and NAC! You can find OL TUDCA 250mg Tudca per cap with no NAC for $54 and get a total of 30 grams tudca, but for the cost workup on what it would cost to add in the NAC, the Gun Show Clear has a slightly better price point. They also sell a 50g tub of TUDCA powder for $85.99 which is a steal!!!!

I also picked up some more Glycerol for big pumps, and Nettle Root Extract, which really helps keep me be able to pee when I am on cycle. Plus it doesn't hurt that it binds to SHBG quite well. Will help keep the androgens from getting bound up.

Looking forward to following!

Damn bro that looks pretty strong. don't know much but 60mg of EPI a day seems kind of high.
sounds like your 1cap a day set-up might work better.

How long you looking at?

Just need some starting Noodz and ending Noodz!

It depends, If I decide to run this at 1 cap a day then I might push it to 8 weeks on and fill in some of the Epistane timing later in the day. I will also more than likely run some Osta as a bridge / cruise between the methylated orals. Anything to keep adding LBM while trying to recover the lipids.

Yeah these doses are high but the carbopool seems to help spread the doses out some so the liver doesn't take the hit all at once. I ran their EPISTANE compound that had 90mgs Epistane, and 210 of a milder PH. I was surprised how well I handled that dose, and was impressed with the results.

Some said they thought that it may have been underdosed due to how well their products were tolerated. However the results were above and beyond what I experienced when I ran 60mgs of Epistane. So I am not sure on that part. I do know that everyone I knew that took this particular product had some pretty sweet results.

I will more than likely post up some noodz the day before I start. However I am honestly contemplating going into Hooded Monster Mode for a while. Since I won't be focusing on leaning up I was thinking I may just live in a hoodie at the gym for a while. Keep the body covered up. If not, I feel like I might be tempted to hold back on calories. If I am posting up steady noodz, I am going to want to look better, not just bigger. So inevitably I would want to start cleaning things up. If I decide to go that route I will pick a shirt that fits me well, and wear it every time I take a progress photo for a point of comparison.

Although, let's be real no sooner than I see some major changes you all are probably going to get a picture showing them!!!

Again, the goal for this year, is to end up around a 230 and as lean as I was in that pic I posted a couple days ago where I was 213-215 . If I can do that before dieting back down for the show I should be stepping on stage with a very impressive physique.

Sounds like a solid plan. I remember doing their Epistane at 90 as well, no blood pressure issues (which I have experienced with other orals) or any other sides to speak of!

Exactly, I think I was the one who recommended it to you after I ran it didn't I? Loved that stuff. Got me big and dry! The way I see it if that stuff was underdosed it was only by a little because the results were better than lesser doses where I felt worse on cycle. I really think whatever the carbopool is it helped a lot.

Last night was a day off, tonight I am probably either going to lift much later at night, or skip the workout and do 2 on Friday. I am taking off to be home with my MIL on her first day back from the home. Tonight we are going to take her out for a celebratory dinner of her getting out. We figure we do that for the kids for any big deal or function they have so we will do it for Mom too. Getting out of a home indeed qualifies as a big deal in her life.

I am pretty excited about my next lift though. As hard as the last one was I am still stoked, and I am loving the feeling of my muscle being more full than it has in a while. Everything seems to be filling in and squaring off a bit. I guess if I am not going to be lean I will enjoy looking full as hell!!!!

I won't lie a big part of me wants to just workout tonight and skip out on the dinner but that is not what a good family man should do... like I said I MIGHT lift after I get home from the dinner but have to admit that is pretty unlikely. It will be late and more than likely I will be full. Plus I may have a drink with dinner since they will be off limits while I am running methylated hormones.

Boy Chris nobody would say that's not your daughter! Pups looking cute too.

Epistane has a short half life and I feel Dmz is almost sideless at 30mg - a cap per day with a later 10mg cap of epi for 8 weeks would probably elicit steadier gains with less sides. Longer>bigger dosage IMHO.

No doubt, the only thing about her that isn't all me is the blue eyes! Other than that she is almost my little twinkie!

That was my exact thought on the way to run the Manifested, take 1 cap a day then use and extra 10mg Epistane later in the day so I get a full 16 hours of Epistane to go with the 16 hours from the DMZ. Running it like that allows me 8 weeks!''

After speaking to my daughter she said she wants to train longer before doing her first PL meet. So for right now she is going to work out with me basically doing the things I do. Maybe not with as much intensity at first since doing failure sets and what not. So we will spend some time shaping her up, dropping her down close to a good competitive class for her first. Then more than likely spending 3 months focusing on strength before the meet in June. Well that is unless she decides she wants to do Fitness or something else with me later instead. Either way that leaves me a lot more time to focus purely on hypertrophy if we won't be cutting down volume for strength specific training until around March. Even then I will still do a mostly BB style workout and just push my load days down into the 3-5 rep range and add a set. Nothing too crazy, if I weren't planning to compete with her in the PL meet I wouldn't be training for it at all. However I think it is reasonable for me to do well enough to enjoy the meet without doing a full meet prep. Just to be doing it with my daughter that is. Yet if she decides she wants to focus on physique based stuff instead then we will do that instead.

I was really proud of her this weekend though. I decided to get rid of the gym membership at the warehouse gym temporarily and get one at Fitness Connection. It is a MUCH nicer gym and has all the amenities like pool, hot tub, wet & dry saunas and all new machines. Well once we got the membership she was on it! She is all kinds of happy to go to the gym with me and she did some straight sets while I was doing muscle rounds. All the same movements though.

I was looking pretty dang swole by the time I was done. The stretches really just make my muscles fill up like crazy right after them I can feel the blood rushing in. Plus Trinity seems to like the intense stretching even though it hurts. She has a little of Daddy's masochistic tendencies I guess...

Your post reminds me to stretch my old limbs, will do, starting today!

No doubt, these particular stretches are great because they not only increase flexibility but they also create an anabolic training effect. Look up DC estreme stretches and also Occluded Stretches if interested in getting both flexibility and added muscle from them.
So cool she's having fun with it!
Yes definitely, she came to me yesterday asking to go to the gym. I had to tell her we were on an EOD workout schedule right now. She said okay good, I am sore today! Tonight is going to be lower body work. Hopefully the gym won't be too insane... Either way it is more time with my baby girl so that will be great. She actually ASKED to squat Sunday, I told her we were going to do those today. :)

I'm no longer running the IFG-1 + MGF log for Age Force, I will be starting a side log keeping track of the benefits of the Age Force Inflammation patches though. I will post a link up to that in here, but will be doing my training and all other updates in this log unless I run some sort of sponsored Hormonal / SARM / PED type log.

Love that she wants to train with you!! So jealous that I can’t seem to rub off on my kids. Hahaha

I wished for years my boys would get into lifting with me but no joy. This is the 3rd time she has ventured back to the gym. She has my genetics so she has a hard time not gaining weight. Between genetics that make weight gain easy, and being extremely impulsive this last year has been rough on her physique and she is unhappy with how she looks. Even with her activity level our genetics don't cut it without nutritional intervention! However he physique is going to be unreal just by leaning up. She has my muscle bellies too!!!!

So right now she is pretty motivated and making better and better decisions. I think I may start riding bikes with her on non-training days just to help her with her goals. Get that cardio activity in plus I am REALLY enjoying the quality time we are getting together!!!

I unfortunately do not have anything to report from yesterday. We had a bit of a family emergency, got a call while on the way to the gym that the kids Nana had a major stroke. Not Jan, the one who lives with us but Jo's ex's Mother. We are all very close with her and she has always been Nana to both Bear and Trinity even though she isn't really related to Trinity. So I just kind of went into supportive mode for the kids and JoAnn. Plus obviously Trinity was not in any position to workout as she was pretty upset.

We are still waiting to hear how things went, last they told us was they didn't know exactly how they should treat her due to a lot of contradiction between medicines she was on and what they needed to relieve the clot.

Really craving the gym at this point which is great! That's how you want to be for going to the gym!

Just got some good news, I was selected to be a Beta tester for Premier Research's Transdermal SR9009. It is a PPAR similar to cardarine but stronger. However oral bio-availability is such that it is completely useless when taken orally. So Premier has decided to put it into a transdermal solution to see if we can get more bio-availability.

I will still be logging my workouts and what not over here but will also be starting up a log for that once it arrives. They said they are still perfecting the TD blend and will probably ship it out Monday. This is great because it should really allow me to increase calories to drive anabolism while more than likely getting leaner in the process.

I just had blood work done Monday of this week so I will at least have some baseline numbers and might end up paying for another set afterwards to see what has changed.
I will post up a link in here once I get the product and write up the log.

I've read some pretty good reviews on Premier Research's products. Interested to see how this works for you.

Yeah, I definitely trust the people behind Premier and am excited to be giving this one a shot. If it solves the bioavailability I have seen reference of this being similar to DNP as far as weight loss without all the sides but only via injections so really curious on the TD. I know they wouldn't be making it if it wasn't viable to use in a TD so that helps. I am pretty sure I will get some nice results off of it.

Sorry to hear about the kids Nana...

Nice one on the logging op.. make sure to tag me as well!

NOOOO!!!! Not at all. Cardarine works very well orally! The Primeval Labs one I ran was awesome!!!!! Also I read a study or review yesterday that said although the PPAR agonist caused cancer in mice that they do not seem to cause the same problem in humans. It explained the process at which they found this out and why it is that way. Has to do with how the liver processes it. The liver of the mice is unable to handle it due to a higher sensitivity level or something along those lines. Either way it alleviates my concerns on the studies that reported PPAR's causing cancer in mice.

It is here if you would like to read it. I will also be posting it in my log when I start it.

Now to get on with last nights workout. It was lower body muscle rounds, but Trinity wanted to do some squats so we did them first. Then went on to the Muscle Rounds for me and some straight sets for her.

She did 6 sets of squats, 3x5 @45 and 3x5 @ 55 - really just working on consistency of form right now.
Leg Press 180x5, 5, 9 - I let her push until she hit a good grinding rep and told her that was her last set for the day. She needs to be able to walk.

I did some front squats because my lower back has been really tight.

Front Squats - Bar x15, 95x15, 135x12, 185x12, 225x10 - was basically a good warm up, the 225x10 was challenging toward the last few reps.

Leg Press MR - 630x4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4 - I did not fail here but came very close, this was a different Leg press than I have been using. Was a bit harder.

Leg Extensions MR - 170x4,4,4,4,4,3 just barely got the final rep will move to 180 or 190 next time
Extreme Quad Stretch

Lying Leg Curl MR - 90x4,4,4,4,4,2
Occluded Hamstring Stretch

Adductors MR - 150x4,4,4,4,4,3

Standing Calf Raise Machine MR - 4,4,4,4,4,4 @ 300lbs (whole stack)
Extreme Stretch

The burn and pumps were off the chain, I got myself wobbly legged like a mofo!

Yeah, I think so, my legs feel heavy this morning!!!

Did you try the hangs man?

Did you try the hangs man?

No, I sure didn't we ended up in the big commercial gym that only had bands in the personal training area for some reason.... I think I am going to have to order some good size bands and do stuff like that at home on my in between days or maybe after I come home from the gym. All I have at the house currently is what came with the Mountain Dog Band Pack from Elite.

Just looked it up, you might be able to get away with the avg + 2 lights, just have the 2 lights on the outside wrapped around the avg. if you wanted to save yourself some cash you could get the elite strong band and then just use either the light or the avg around the outside if needed. Im not sure what the price difference between the strong and heavy to know if thats even worthwhile though.

Cool thanks for the info! I wil definitely look into that for sure. Hip mobility is very important to me. It is one of my weaknesses, one side tracks differently than the other due to some issues with the psaos and other flexors. It doesn't cause pain now but it worries me that it could at some point if not corrected or at least maintained correctly.

Being a good gainer is not always bad! You show that off quite well! You can lean out like nobody’s business!! I’m glad you have that bond with her!

Hope their Nana is doing ok!

Great news about the log! Will be exciting to see your results!

She is out of the scariest parts but can not speak very well right now. At least she is aware of her surroundings. She also unfortunately broke her leg in 2 places and has to get surgery to repair it.

Awesome session, and thank you for clearly that up for me!

Thanks and No problem!

First I want to mention that my lower back is still tweaking a bit especially first thing in the mornings when I wake up. Just a shocking feeling where my erectors meet my glutes. I am pretty sure I popped my hips out of alignment so I am going to see about getting into a chiro this week.

Trinity and I are still feeling out all of the muscle round exercises and what not to get started full bore on the program as it is written. Hoping that my low back thing clears up quickly too so I can start crushing this...

Saturday we did Upper Body work.

She wanted to do Dead Lifts for back thickness to start. Yeah she is my little bad ass!!!!

I tried to do them with her but lower back was not having any of that nonsense!!!!
10 minute LISS Warm Up

Trinity's Deads - 65x5, 95x5, 115x3, 135x1, 135x1, 135x1 - she was ripping 95 off the floor so fast it looked like the beginning of an olympic lift. So we went to 115x3 but it was a deficit. She was pulling pretty good and feeling confident, so we bumped up to 135x1 which got her to correct height, and is also a PR for her. I am pretty sure she could have gotten 2 reps at 135 too, but I wanted to focus on the safety for that lift. I like that she can work with the 45 plates because now she can get the exact form locked in.

She did all the other exercises with me but I wasn't watching her weights. I just had her do 3 or 4 sets on each movement with me. I think we might start her on some actual muscle rounds here pretty soon. I don't want her getting so sore that she is put off by it.

Muscle Rounds Workout Cluster sets with 10 seconds rest between each 4 rep cluster.

HS Lat Pull Down Cable Machine - 190x4,4,4,4,4,3
Seated Rows 180x4,4,4,4,4,4 - go up
Lat stretches

HS Bench Press Machine 190x4,4,4,4,3, 150x4
Pec Deck - 110x4,4,4,4,3, 80x4
Pec Stretch

Side Raise Machine - 110x4,4,4,3, 80x4,4
Occluded Shoulder Stretch

HS Cable Dip Machine - 190x4,4,4,4,4,3
Triceps Stretches

Getting pretty excited about the upcoming log for the SR9009. I have to say that I am looking pretty decent right now for having increased calories, and muscle is responding well to the training. So I feel if the SR9009 works as expected I should actually lean up some more while on it even though increasing calories.
