KLEEN - STRONG BODY STRONG MIND!

How do you feel on tren? Sides manageable?

I just started it this weekend so today was 2nd shot. I haven't noticed any sides as of yet and my doses are still in the low range so I may not have many sides, or at least am hoping not too for a while.

Week 3-4 was when tren seemed to begin getting harsh for me. Week 7 I just wanted off.

Good, I won't be going beyond week 4 so shouldn't be too bad.
Thought you were on NPP (besides T)?
That was my original plan, in hopes that I could help with the tendons and joints. However coach listened to my concerns and asked if I wanted an optimal run if he could set it up without too many sides. So I decided to give the tren a try at low doses. Originally I was going to run NPP the whole time. It ended up being Test E 500 weeks 1-4, 700mg 5-8, then test bumped to 800 this weekend and the tren and Dbol added in for the rest of the cycle.

Thanks Mark!

Thanks! Those are my hopes. Feeling pretty strong for sure.

So this morning was Leg Press time. I increased the volume by doing sets of 2 from the beginning instead of just the last 2 sets.

Leg Press 26 plates x 2 for 7 sets

This gives me warm fuzzies, my gym has the same machine and I can't tell you how many times I've seen gym newbs load it to the brim and then press with a 1/4" range of motion! Pushes looked great dude, freak strength!

Thanks Brother, I used to do them rock bottome, until my knees were in my armpits but learned better. You want to go as deep as you can go while keeping your back neutral. As soon as those hips start rolling forward injury becomes a lot more likely, especially with a lot of weight.

So yesterday was a bit busy but here are some of my speed bench sets.

Speed Bench - Warms Ups - Bar x15, 95x10, 135x5. 185x5, - Work Sets - 225x3, 245x3, 245x3, 245x3, 245x3, 245x3, 245x3

On the shot with your junk front and center, looks like your heals aren't set hard during the unrack and you adjust them only after the liftoff? If you're not driving them down on the unrack, you're missing out on some tightness and stability from the get go. Looking good, that's all I noticed with one watch through!

I will definitely explore that. I had a great workout Friday Morning for bench. I will get the video up once it is cut down and uploaded. I think I did better.

Slingshot Bench 355 365 375 375 375 375 375
Front squats speed 245x3 245x3 275x3 245x3

Oh yeah finally some changes on the scale! I was 206.6 last Saturday and 213.8 this morning. I will put the pics up once on my computer.

MrKleen73 What bf you sitting at? Great work.

Looking awesome Chris! Thanks for the posing tips as well.

@MrKleen73 What bf you sitting at? Great work.

Thanks a lot Hokie!

I would say mid teens, 14-17% but I don't put any real stock in BF, or take BF measurements very often anymore. I just go by how I look and how I am able to perform to decide which adjustments to make.

Okay so quick update last weeks bench session went VERY well. I worked up 10 lbs heavier than my expectations for the day!!!! Followed up with some speed front squats.

Slingshot Bench 355x1, 365x1, 375x1, 375x1, 375x1, 375x1, 375x1 - Most weight I have ever had on the bar! I have done a 365 with no slingshot but this was the heaviest I have done for any form of benching.

Speed Front Squats - 225x3, 245x3, 275x3, 245x3 - trap held together pretty good with this but I could still feel it. I didn't do all 7 sets because I did this on Friday and was deadlifting Saturday.

Here's a couple sets of each -

Deadlifts 525, 545, 555, 535, 535, 535, 535, 535, 535, 535, 535, 515, 515, 515, 515

15+lb cut for first meet is a bad idea - I'd definitely go 220 and enjoy the PRs

No definitely not a consideration at this weight. I think I am just now starting to really respond will probably continue to gain all the way through.

No problem just making comparisons #goals to what I might look like @ 14-17%.

Yeah probably and some dietary changes.

My abs tend to show early due to there size. So may look a little different.

Yeah, im sure. mine are blocky and huge. I tried to figure out why. Yet don't get it. Playing days in basketball and transitioning to Powerlifter then powerbuilder has left them hard and look pushed out. I know some think something different but their just stuck there. I can feel all the ridges but have a small layer to lose. It's actually funny and not. Once i can see them then I'll start posting picks. I just have lower to lose small amount.

Means you carry more visceral fat. Get lower and it will thin out. Mine do that too.

I actually looked that up a few months ago and realized that too! Lol. You the man MrKleen73. Stupid Visceral fat.

Yeah but you will be shocked how much smaller your waist can get when you get that visceral fat burning off.

I am living large today, I had a refeed yesterday with some sushi and Blue Bell Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream. All totaled about 500 grams of carbs in that meal. I am looking very full right now, probably a good 216-217 on the scale but not distended in the stomach which is pretty awesome!

Today is a digestive and physical recovery day. No lifting and only protein and fats today. Looking forward to hitting the weights tomorrow. I think I MIGHT actually squat again tomorrow.

Nice control on the overloaded bench. Also, nice cameo by the cleaning gal during fs

Bet your buddy during the pull can bench ok - guy's shoulders are barn door wide!

Yeah he was working up over 315 for reps the other day. I haven't asked him his max. He is a pretty strong dead lifter, I have seen him pull about 630 in a regular workout. Was our first time lifting together in the garage. I recruited him from the gym for a dead lifting session.

First time back under the Oly Bar for Squats!!!! Hell to the yeah!

So last night was my first real squatting session since my injury made the SSB Squats impossible. I was very happy with how my lift went yesterday. For those who have been following closely I mentioned before that the only way I would do squats at the meet was if I could squat at least 450 by then. Well this workout sealed the deal on that. So as long as I stay healthy from here on out I will definitely be squatting at the meet.

High Bar Squats - 135x10, 185x5, 225x3, 275x3, 315x1, 365x1, 405x1, 425x1, 425x1, 445x1, 445x1, 455x1, 455x1, 455x1 - Very happy with this performance. I was not really expecting to make it over 405 after it being a while and with my shoulder. However I blew past 405 easily. I definitely had discomfort in the shoulder from the first set but it never got horrible. Just a twinge in the rotator cuff area after each of the sets. It stuck around a little longer the last 2 sets of 455 so I decided to call it there in order to save the shoulder for some benching.

Speed Bench - Bar x15, 95x10, 135x8 185x3, 225x3, 245x3, 245x3, 255x3, 255x3, 255x3, 245x3, 245x3 - Bench took a little bit to warm up on. My left elbow had a tendon or ligament that was bitchy yesterday. I will probably use some type of warming liniment rub on it to help it stay warm on meet day.

I wish I could see the vid but it's not loading for me. That's a great session. 480+ should be imminent if you could do all of that now, unpeaked.

A lot of my bench sessions before this push pull had a lot of triple work around 250, and I hit 314, if that means anything.

Vid wasnt working for me either...thought it was just me since ive had issues with the videos in the past.

WHEW! Had a crazy weekend and beginning of my week. I got my training in but that was about all I had time to do.

Bench workout - 335, 345, 345, 355, 355, 355, 355, 355, 335 - felt really good.

Speed Squats 7 speed sets 335x3

Dead Lifts - 535, 545, 545, 555, 560, 560, 550xf, 535, 535
- major increase in total volume. Only 1 missed rep, went heavier and finished heavier.

Speed Rack Pulls - 7 sets of 345 x3

Speed Workout 1
Squats - 335x3 x5 sets
Bench - 255x3 x 5 sets

Squats - 335x3 x 2 sets
Bench - 255x3 x 2 sets
Dead Lifts 395x3 x 2 sets

Woke up about 4:00AM yesterday puking my guts out. I hurled so hard I popped a blood vessel in my eye. Spent most of the day curled up in bed hating life.

I have tonight off, coach told me since I have been dealing with a lot of stuff during this prep I was better off just moving on from yesterdays workout. So rather than push myself harder than needed where it won't actually benefit me he wants me to finish out the week as it was originally written.

He gave me my first attempt numbers yesterday also. We will be opening with a 315 bench, 420 squat, and 500 dead lift! Starting out with something guaranteed but then it is go big time. After that we have some big 2nd attempts planned. My 2nd Attempts will be 350 bench, 450 squat, and 550 dead lift. Final attempts are go big or go broke lifts. Bench 390, Squats 490, Dead Lifts 600. That is what is planned anyway. Depends on how everything feels after the 2nd attempts.

Oh yeah body weight is now sitting around 215-216 fasted AM weight, focused on thickness and some intentional holding of water. He gave me the option to drop to 198 but we both thought it would be more of a risk to joint health than a benefit for the meet. Better to keep things well lubricated.

Everything looks great with the attempts except I'd consider 460 on the second squat because 500 is gonna be there and you're gonna want it if so and that will make the jump smoother too it.

Also, people seem to overestimate their 3rd benches far too often in my experience, as you never really know til that day how tired or hydrated you will be at that point - I'm not saying 390 is or isn't perfect; I'm just saying that after the 350 second I would be honest with yourself and take what's there, be it 360 or 400.

These all sound like very realistic goals though and I think you are set up for success!

You dont have to shoot someone to scare them haha

My now son-in-law told me I scared him the first time he picked my daughter up, I'm 5'5" 185 and he's 6'3" 285 !!!

That's funny. Both my married daughters have told me that my son-in laws are scared of me. Dont know why? I give them crap just like everyone else in the family. one I could probably take he is a programmer. The other is a hydraulics guy, 6'2" and has forearms like popeye, when he shakes your hand you have to act all cool like it didnt hurt.

I don't think him being a programmer is the deciding factor on why he isn't strong lol.

I will say that when I started turning wrenches my grip strength went up significantly over time. But I don't have a manual job anymore and I am bigger, stronger and have greater grip than ever before, so whether someone trains or not is most relevant.

Left out he is 5'9" maybe 145lbs. soaking wet! nothing against programmers. I work with one and he is a nice guy as well, but i could still kick his arse while jacking off!:bow28:

Haha, as a whole, programmers aren't all that muscular, but there are exceptions to the rule. Bruce Lee was only 5'7" 130-140lbs I think, but I doubt this guy is a martial arts expert, haha.

In here to learn
Welcome brother!!!!

I have to admit my 3rd attempt on bench is the one I was like WHOAH big jump there. I was thinking it might be closer to 375 but again like you said a lot of it depends on how I feel on that day. I would be very happy with 365 to be honest. Hell I will be happy with the 350 and I know I can hit that. I will more than likely have someone video the attempt and try to watch it real quick to see how it moved before I choose the last weight. If not moving decently fast I probably won't push for an extreme jump like what was planned.

Vid worked for me. Nice job brother.
Thanks Brother!
I want to hire you to scare off my niece's boyfriend...methinks he's getting too friendly and I've help raise her since she was a baby, I plan on defending her honor till she's at least 30.

Already trying to figure out how to scare my daughters suitors when they start coming around.

Yep and a bit scarier.
Dont think he wants him Dead? just wants him to crap himself and move to another country")
So then maybe a Desert Eagle, just looking at one pointing near you can cause someone to crap themselves.

LMAO, I thought I had edited that out. Funny thing was it was apparently a religious rap song and the lyrics surprised me when they came on. Did you see the look of confusion on my face.

No you definitely do not. However that definitely works.
My now son-in-law told me I scared him the first time he picked my daughter up, I'm 5'5" 185 and he's 6'3" 285 !!!
Men recognize men, and the smart ones understand Old Man Strength and Resolve. That scares them.
being that ugly will do that ;)

There is that and there is also the fear based on needing your F-I-L's approval.

The workout -

Bench - 335x1, 355x1, 355x1, 355x1, 355x1, 355x1, 355x1, 355x1 - with slight assist from spotter, 335x1, 335x1

Speed Squats - 335x3 x 9 sets.

Was happy to get an extra set at 355 and then another one that the spotter just had to tap the bar to get it through the sticking point. Still making improvements every week even though a bit beat up. My body and CNS are just about kaput. Thank goodness the over reaching phase is just about over. I do my last heavy dead lift session tomorrow, after that everything drops down to a nice Active Recovery level the rest of the week. Sunday I have another workout for speed sets, then Monday I do 2 sets @ 90% of max working weight for 1 rep each, and Wednesday the same thing but 95% of my max working set. So I should recover very nicely and be ready to crush this meet!!!

Sounds like proper overreaching to me. If you don't feel like crap by the time you're 1-2 weeks out, you probably aren't going to get the super compensation you're after.

I feel like crap, but that's mostly the sleep deprivation.
