I think it's just been a mental block from upping the calories. I feel softer even though the scale hasn't shown that.

Today was a day filled with activities. I got to sleep in until 10 though and that was wonderful!!! Lol Daughter had a friend sleep over and we dropped them off at the ice skating rink. Hubby, lil man and I went to a fun park with go carts and such to play for a while. Then, my daughter and I went to a wedding for one of the girls that trains with me on Fridays! She looked gorgeous of course! These are the cake pops I made for the grooms "cake" at the rehearsal dinner last night! Oh, they had a photo booth at the wedding so my daughter and I goofed off for a bit! Haha So much fun!

I've had 2 doses of the C2K today-just got busy. It really does seem to suppress the appetite a bit too! :)

I hope everyone of you awesome fathers have had a great day celebrating all you do for your family! Daughter will be leaving on a mission trip with the youth tomorrow so I made brownies for the kids (daughters request) As I was prepping for the week, I realized I was out of my blackening seasoning for my tilapia. Tried making my own blend with the spices I had on hand- we will see tomorrow how it turns out! Diet has not been on point this weekend but will definitely be 100% tomorrow! Super excited to be off work for a week, which means training later and hanging with my lil man! Yay!

Sent my daughter off this morning and got to the gym about 8:20 this morning! Gym was nice and full in comparison to my 5am crowd! Had to shift things around a bit but it wasn't bad! Got in a really good back workout! It was feeling nice and tight within the first few sets.

Forgot to add- pwo consisted of 1.5 ml of C2K then a concoction of 1 1/2 scoop Enhanced, 1 scoop alphamine, and the last of some erratic I had - drank half before and sipped on it about halfway through.

Great workout Kat! Recipe on that Tilapia? I have some Basa fillets and really didn't enjoy the first meal with them, so might have to copycat your Tilipia.

I added dill and extra cayenne to the recipe.

I just pour a little evoo in a hot skillet, season one side, and toss it in the fish...turn the heat down to med/low after about a min so it doesn't stuck to the pan as bad. Then flip after another min. Seasoning the other side while it's cooking. This makes really good fish tacos too with cabbage and an adobo sauce made out of adobo and Greek yogurt.

Thanks! They're pretty good! I only get the on occasion if I move my calories around a bit due to the shells.

Even mixing up the taco fixings sans shell could be good. I love going to chipotle for a burrito bowl. With a shell it's just too many carbs but a plastic bowl is perfect :-D

I had some Steelhead trout on the weekend, it's was magnificent. I like Tilapia, just some much of it over the last few years.

I have a pretty good fish guy down the street from my gym so I have been trying different things. I liked his Arctic Char too. Going with BC Red Snapper next week I think. Going to be hard to say no to the trout though.

Wow! I don't hear that often. I like moes too but I think chipotle is better

Don't get me wrong, chipotle's food has great flavor. I just like the options of adding things to my bowl. That's pretty much the only negative thing though.
 
Happy Tuesday! Planned on sleeping till 8 today but my son was excited about the tooth fairy coming and came in all excited. He wanted to "cuddle" but as those of you who have little boys know, that's far from lying there all sweet and still. Lol

Thanks guys! It was a great workout! Really enjoyed relaxing at the pool! Played with the nerf ball, swam, and worked on the tan a bit too! :) 97 and sunny- should be nice and red tomorrow! Haha
