Haha I'm more of a sprinter or interval runner myself too! I don't run long distances. We walked a couple of times since it was well over 90 degrees outside. Lol

Yes it does. Pt test is twice per year and those are the two times I run. I'm doing eliptical intervals and walking keeping weight down, go out fast coast in, 16:54 last time. I'm old.

Haha!! The stories I could tell about running the grape fields in Germany. Or PT test I'd have the guys do in MOPP gear when stationed at Pine Bluff, or running in -40 temp in Alaska. The Army was a blast!

Pt test in mopp gear, wow, now that's not army reg but effective. I remember doing the ski jumper in mopp gear on a hill in 80 degree temps brutal.

I was Chemical and that was back in the 80's. At Pine Bluff we had 4 operations teams. We had a contest on who would have the best score doing the PT test in MOPP. My team won. Anything else wouldn't have been acceptable!

we used to run laps on the flight deck when they weren't running flight ops.


my energy level is way lower when i don't run regularly, or play tennis, or both.

That's great Kat! You should get some calipers and check your bf. I wouldn't trust the ones on the scale that use impedance through your body to determine bf. And you look tighter than 18%.

Lol I will be teaming with my personal trainer friend in the next few weeks and he was the last one to measure me. So, I'll get him to remeasured when I go!

Short on calories for the day so look what I got! Yummm...couldn't eat it all gave about 3 1/2 oz of the steak to hubby! Lol

I just want to say, I am very very thankful that today was a rest day! Back, shoulders, hands, and every inch of my legs/glutes are super sore! Even managed to bruise my traps/upper back with the bar yesterday! Hahaha Slept till 10:30 this morning too! So nice!

Happy Monday! Took the last day of summer off to be with the kids since the dr isn't working this week or next. Went to the gym at 9! Soreness is mostly gone except calves- still takes me a few seconds to get them moving if I'm still. Lol
