Big thanks to Apex Alchemy. @nostrum420 @Renew1 @xR1pp3Rx for the chance to try FlashPoint! They hooked me up with 4 bottles to try.

This is a transdermal glycyrrhetinic acid product. Glycyrrhetinic acid has many benefits…a few are reducing inflammation, swelling, cholesterol, potassium, and fat. It has also been used to treat, skin conditions, auto immune diseases, and female hormonal issues such as PCOS and menopause.

A little about me - I have built up my calories after years of dieting...after some health issues, surgeries, and other unforeseen things, I have gained a good bit of weight. Currently working to just improve my health and hormones…as well as taking advantage of the extra calories by putting on some solid muscle.

Goal with Flashpoint is to loose some belly fat! (aka the dreaded mom pooch Lol) With the hormonal issues and surgeries that I’ve had, that has become an area that I’m pretty self conscious of. I will be applying across my stomach as well as the side of my hips. Starting dose is 1ml twice a day.

Training is 4 days a week ...currently focused around each main lifts- Bench/Deadlifts/Squats with a day dedicated to shoulders.(cause I want bigger shoulders ) Cardio is only 15 mins 3x’s a day steady state. **note I am also currently getting my son started in the gym so if training looks odd- it’s likely due to adjusting training to workout with him. If possible I go separately for my own training when I can.**

Macros are currently 150p/380c/60f

Starting pic-
This takes SO much courage for me to post…please be kind.

You know I am following
What you should be proud of is how you took your calories from 1400 to 2800 and lost 4" on your waist. The dedication and consistency you put in the gym make you a great candidate to see how well these products work.

I started using flashpoint a few days ago but just couldn’t seem to find time to get everything written up and everything…So here are the things I’ve been noticing:

Smell is similar to Ursa Major imo- with the peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils. It soaks in pretty well. I have noticed is absorbs best after my shower at night. The 2nd application takes a bit longer to absorb. (To be expected as pores are clean an open post shower) I get a slight warming affect and reddening of the skin-most noticeable post shower as well.

Yesterday I trained upper body with my son. Just trained with him so will be adjusting some to get everything in this week. Today was deadlifting day…

Deadlifts
**Mixture of Sumo and Conventional**
45/95x12 wu
135x8
165x5
195x5
225x5
255x3
275x3x4 sets
185x AMRAP

Wide grip pulldowns
120x12x4 sets

Seated cable rows
120x10x4 sets

TBar row
70x12x3 sets

DB curls
20x15x3 sets

Cardio- 15 mins elliptical

With your muscle memory and training history, I'm sure you'll progress quickly! Seems everyone else is doing 2x per day applications...maybe I'll have to switch to that.

p.s. those food pics....giving me some ideas! Keep up the great log.

Thank you! I appreciate the positive thoughts a lot! Hopefully so…it’s been a long road and years of my body fighting against every effort to loose weight- I’ve been forced to listen and try to repair things back to full function. Hopefully Flashpoint will only make things better in the process!!

Woke up this morning feeling tighter…I’m loving it! Core temp seems to be warmer overall and I found myself sweating in the middle of the night as well as a good bit more during my workouts.
Typically I take Wednesday’s to sleep in and recover but I went ahead and got up an hour-ish early for cardio and mobility work. I did 30 mins on the treadmill with my hoodie(love training in a hoodie) then spent a good 30 mins doing some hip/core stability work, mobility, and lots of stretching! It’s amazing how much better I feel after taking the time to really work on my jacked up hips!

I have a feeling you are the leanest of the bunch.. i wouldnt mind seeing what happens with the approach you are on.. this is a beta test after all. its up to you of course but you are the one outlier with this dosing 1 x per day.

Happy Thursday guys! Applied 1ml across midsection last night after my shower and again this morning before the gym. Lower abdomen is definitely feeling leaner. There is no skin irritation or anything. Possibly feeling a little less inflammation overall- but not 100% certain if it’s in my head or actually happening just yet.

Felt great this morning!! Some days you just feel like you nailed your workout and don’t want to stop! Today was one of those days. It was a quick but productive workout - I combined chest and shoulders.

Bench
45/75 ~20ish reps -just getting blood flowing
95x8
115x5
125x5
135x3x4 sets
**pretty excited that 135 felt so smooth. Left 1 in the tank(at least on the first 2 sets )

Incline DB Bench
50x8
50x7x3 sets

Push press
95x5
115x5
125x3x3 sets

Rear delt destroyer set
25x60, 15x30, 10x20, 5x20 dropset

Lateral raises- dropset
25x25(bottom partials)
10x15
5x15

Front and side lateral raises
10x25

SS
Cable Internal and external rotations
15x20/7x20(3 sets no rest)

Pre & post workout rice “pudding”
IMG_0671.JPG

Had a protein shake as well- just no pic. Haha This is what I have pretty much every day.

Well, it’s easy…cook your favorite kind of rice. You can cook with milk and or water. I usually do jasmine rice and almond milk if I have it. Once it’s cooked, I add more water while it’s hot, to make it fluffier/creamier. Then I add cinnamon, stevia, and a dash of salt -all to taste. Stir in some walnuts and measure out for the week. I have used the sugar free coffee syrup and fruit for flavors as well. Super easy and cheap…plus doesn’t kill my stomach like oatmeal does. Lol

Your shoulders must have been on fire after that workout, especially the "rear delt destroyer". 😮
Glad to hear you're noticing something as well!

They were and they’re nice and sore today! Those rear delt destroyers get me every time! I always have to pace around and shake it off. Lol

I haven’t but I guess just because I hate eating protein powder. Lol I just chug it as quick as I can.

I laid in the bed enjoying the warm effects of the Flashpoint after my post shower application last night. It was quite relaxing! I’m not the best at sitting still! Lol

Went to the gym with my son today for legs. No squats today unfortunately -he’s not ready for those yet…but great workout.

Single leg press
210x20
255x15x6 sets

V-squat machine
125x12x4 sets
**first time using this machine since before my hip injury. Kept them lighter but kept tempo slow and focused on exploding out of the bottom.

Leg extensions
130x15x4 sets

Leg curls
100x12x4 sets

Calf press
155x20x3 sets

Hip thrusts
315x8x4 sets

Good mornings
75x12x3 sets

SS with 16 banded lateral squat walks

Happy Monday! Things are still trucking along. Had some random bloating and water retention over the weekend. It’s definitely not from the Flashpoint. I changed my multi vitamin and apparently my body was not a fan. Very weird. I never imagined changing my multi would matter- but needless to say-I just dropped those.

Applications have been consistent 1ml twice a day to stomach and hip area. I definitely get increased warmth overall and to application site. I don’t get a burning sensation or anything but my skin does get a little red - which is pretty neat to me.

Has anyone tried a neoprene wrap or anything? I just wonder if it would sweat like crazy. Lol

Here’s today’s first workout -(aka my usual training)

Bench
45x15/75x15
95x8
115x5
125x3
135x3
140x1x4 sets
140x0-failed 5th set
125x3
115x5

Incline DB bench
50x7x4 sets

Machine flyes
100x12
100x10
100x8
100x8

Triset

Machine Dips
(Plate loaded)
180x10x4 sets

DB kickbacks
(Alt palm positions)
15x12x4 sets

DB front & side lateral raises
10x12x4 sets

Ab work

15 mins cardio

Workout #2- after work/with son

Machine chest press
40x12
50x10
60x8
60x6-chest said nope! Lol

Seated cable rows
100x12x4 sets

Wide grip pulldowns
100x12
120x12x2 sets

Cable pushdowns
65x12x3 sets

Cable curls
35x12x3 sets

Cable crunches
95x15x2 sets

Hanging leg raises
4 sets of 15

Pull-ups w/ light band
5 sets 8-10

Question/thoughts on something like micro needling to help with absorption on the abdomen. -Do you think it would make much difference or possibly just cause irritation? I have several scars across my stomach from previous surgeries and just wondered if the skin being thicker there would make it less effective? Not that I feel it’s not working- just crossed my mind. Haha
