I think the fighters should form a union and go on strike if Dana refuses to pay medical bills. I am usually anti-union because too many times they get out of hand, but the fighters really should form one.
 
W/e his reasoning, that was pathetic. I am entirely embarrassed he is Canadian, and ruined an otherwise very impressive showing by all the Canadians on the card. Though, I must say, the next event in Canada hopefully puts on better fighters in favor of Canadian ones.

I haven't seen the Starnes fight. All I've been able to catch was the raping of Matt Serra by a French Canadian in biker shorts on youtube, but this isn't the first thread I've read about the lame'osity of Starnes' performance. It must of been pretty damn pathetic.

I don't know what's caused more stirr. The French Canadian man rape porn or the weak performance by Starnes.

I also heard that GSP and Serra has some pretty classy things to say right after the fight. Can anybody offer a synopsis of what either of them said?

GSP said that he would fight Serra in New York, told the crowd to respect him as a former champion, and said there were absolutely no hard-feelings and that Serra was a classy guy.
 
Reminds me of the Loiseau/Franklin fight. Is it typical for Canadians to run from conflict, I would expect this from French Canadians but perhaps it has permeated throughout the country. :)

We just like to figure out what and who we're destroying before we do it. Not quite as quick as the American approach, but Kalib just took too long. :)
 
Quarry is hilarious! lol..thats pretty funny, i didnt even see that because i stopped watching the fight. Kalib has always been a pu55y and i mean PU55Y!!!!! how he got on the UFC at all is beyond me. I hope he save his money. That one hand over his face and the hammer fist thing was the best thing ive seen in a situation like that and Kalib still was running away from that! OMG that guy has to be Canadian.

that striking technique at the end of the fight was hilarious. It reminded me of some type of elementary school fighting technique. The Rocky quote at the end was great to. I didn't care too much for Quarry before that fight but now he's good in my book. I'd like to see him fight Bisping next.

According to him, he broke a bone in his foot when the Rock checked a leg kick. He said that his offense had been completely shut down by Quarry (TDs and standup) so he tried to jab and move.

He had a huge post on Shedog. Basically he said something to that affect. He said:

1. Broke a bone early in the fight
2. He couldn't get past Quarry's defense
3. He almost got KO'd 2-3 times
4. Quarry's punches hurt bad and Starnes had no answer.

Basically he knew he was beat and didn't want to take any more pain or get KO'd.

I'm also not defending him, I just summarizing his post.
