No but then again I am already an excellent driver. Even though I've had alot of tickets

Dude, get a ****ing clue. Excellent driver LOL I drive for a living and I've seen way too many accidents because they all think they "excellent" drivers. You know, right before they die or better yet get ****ed up for life.
I've been in two very serious accidents and about five "little ones", it's never been my fault, but other "excellent" driver. I hope you'll never have to experience an accident, it's no joke, kid. So once again, get a ****ing clue.

:bow28: Oh forgive me Mr Holier Than Thou professional driver. Although you have had more accidents than me. Sure none of those accidents were your fault? Maybe you could use some driving lessons yourself.

Our speedometer has melted and as a result it's very hard to see with any degree of accuracy exactly how fast we were going.

Try that one :D

Well, what would you guys say to the judge if you were in my postion? I was thinking of something like, "I know it was probably the wrong thing to do, but I know the light was yellow." But I don't want to sound like I did something wrong, of course. The light was yellow until it just barely passed over my roof (where I could no longer see the light) and turned red. Any comments?

Also, the officer who cited me said I accelerated, but I gave no answer. Although I did accelerate from 45 to about 47, it is much easier to accelerate 2mph than it is to slow down 45mph.

I know in my state if your 2 front wheels are past the white line when it turns red you are ok. It's ok to go through a yellow light.

I would tell the judge that it would have been dangerous for you to slam on brakes to try to stop, and that your car was over the line when it turned red.

Tell him you have no idea what the cop is talking about. You were on vacation out of the country. Then jump up, look pissed and yell that means somebody stole my car, got a ticket, signed your name, used a forged license and the cop didn't even arrest him. Just hope they don't ask you to explain how the car ended up back at your house.

I dont know if this was mentioned ealier but this guy was on the radio promoting his book and giving advice and techniques he has used and the seem very solid.

He wrote a book entitled "Beat the Cops" by Alex Caroll. If you have the need its worth the read, I read it just for the fun of it. His website cleandrivingrecord.com has a list of all the speed traps in your area (updates daily)

just found it somewhat interesting for those who get in the need for excusses frequently

That book has a lot of valid points and uses but if you find yourself in enough trouble to buy the book you may have the real answer in front of ya :)

very true, I found more humor in it than anything. Then I gave it to my dumbass friend who has been in 2 accidents (one with a cop) and been pulled over all since January 3 when he got his license)

I have A Speeders Guide To Avoiding Tickets, written by a former state trooper. Pretty helpful.

Well, court date was today.

I felt weird, seeing that I was the only person in dress clothes and a tie. I seen about eight other people wearing street clothes and all i could think is someone(s) wrong here.

Anyways, I walk in, and the officer gives me the option to take a lesser charge with no points, but same fine.

I say, "I'll take that option!"

So things worked out alright. The officer and judge were cool about it, and I thanked them both.

The fine meant nothing to me, but the increased insurance did...so I had a big smile on my face as I left the courtroom...

Congrats, I guess. Still making payments on my wife's ticket. I think I have 2 more to go. I just get so excited when pay day rolls around and I get to give PA more of my money. Cause if it were up to me, I would give them every last cent of it. I love PA. :nutkick:

A vaccuum cleaner? Why would I want to do that when I get so much pleasure from just giving my money away to the state. It would feel awkward for me to receive something of a material nature in return for my good hard earned cash.

Nope, not for me. I say give, give, give. As a matter of fact, I am going to start saving now for future opportunities that force me, ooops, I mean allow me to just give my money away. That way, when the time comes, I can give more at one time and that would really make me feel oh so good. Probably make me feel so good it would cause me to squeeze my n*****s right off.
