Jjohn's Alpha Drive XL log

Stats as of day 1:
Weight: 183.4
Arms: 14 3/4"
Waist: 34 3/4"
Chest: 41 1/2"
Quads: 22 1/2"

DAY 10:
Weight: 185
Arms: 14 3/4"
Waist: 34 3/4"
Chest: 41 3/4"
Quads: 22 3/4"

DAY 20:

Weight: 185.6
Arms: 14 3/4"
Waist: 34 3/4"
Chest: 41 3/4"
Quads: 22 3/4"

Measurements look the same, but I can definetly see an increase in definition and hardness. I beleive that the best is to come ;)

DAY 21

I felt pretty tired this morning, but still did a decent workout.

I did:
SHOULDERS
- Arnold Presses 35 x 8, 40 x 6, 40 x 5
- Seated Dumbbell Side Laterals 20 x 10, 25 x 6, 20 x 10
- Seated Dumbbell Rear Laterals 15 x 10, 15 x 10, 15 x 10
- Dumbbell Shrugs 95 x 12, 100 x 12, 100 x 12

I noticed a sharp pain in my left shoulder when doing my Dumbbell Rear Laterals. I feel my joints are feeling "loose" the more I go heavy, and are cracking a lot more. Maybe not enough warm-up? Hopefully tomorrow it will have gone away.

DAY 22

This was an off day. Skin is being pretty oily, and hunger has increased a lot. I am feeling full, but could always go for more...

I can definitely see a difference between your starting pics and half way pics of your back. More definition and looks like more thickness. Keep up the great work man!

Thanks a lot. I appreciate your support :)

DAY 23

This was a pretty decent workout, but intensity was not 100% there.

- Dumbbell Squats 175 x 7, 175 x 5, 175 x 6
- Dumbbell Romanian Deadlifts 55 x 10, 55 x 9, 55 x 9
- Calf Raises on Smith Machine 180 x 30, 180 x 30

DAY 24

This is one of my favorite day. I love how much energy I can put in my arms when they are done alone!

I did:
BICEPS
- Incline Dumbbell Curls 40 x 8, 40 x 6, 40 x 5, 35 x 6
- Seated Dumbbell Hammer Curls 45 x 6, 45 x 6, 45 x 6, 45 x 6
- Seated Concentration Curls 20 x 8, 20 x 8, 20 x 8, 20 x 8

TRICEPS
- Incline French Presses 60 x 12, 65 x 10, 70 x 7, 70 x 6
- Rope Press downs 50 x 6, 50 x 8, 50 x 8, 50 x 8
- Close-grip bench: 115 x 6, 115 x 6, 115 x 6, 115 x 6

After that workout, I was absolutely dead! ALLRIGHT!!

DAY 25

Today was pretty decnt. I managed to have a day off to do some work for school that starts soon. I have received the best compliment of my life yesterday by one of my colleagues where I work. "Are you on steroids?". Wow. I was shocked. Of course I am not, why are you asking me that? I replied. "You just look huge!". I was pleased by the comment, and will take it as a compliment. Looks like the strict diet and supplementation is showing off! Okay, enough about this. Here's my workout!

I did
CHEST
- Incline Barbell Presses 135 x 8, 155 x 6, 135 x 8
- Flat Barbell Presses 135 x 7, 135 x 7, 135 x 5
- Decline Barbell Presses 135 x 5, 115 x 8, 115 x 8
- High Cable Crossovers 20 x 8, 25 x 8, 25 x 6

ABS
Leg raises: 3 x 30 reps legs crossed

I am starting to feel really good, getting good sleep, and feeling my body coming to life despite my extremely busy schedule, and the fact that I want to be everything, and do everything ;)

It sounds like this is a great supplement for you thusfar. I have a few queries for you;

How does Alpha Drive XL compare to Restore/Jungle Warfare thusfar? You're in what I assume is a fairly unique position of having tried both. I'd be interested in all effects, such as sleep, recovery from workouts, mood, intensity in the gym, hunger, etc. etc.

Have you been experiencing any whacked out dreams from Alpha Drive? I noticed some of the other testers reporting that effect.

Good job on the gains thusfar. FnF sure seems to like to rag on you sometimes about calories and weights moved, I definitely disapprove of the way she in particular gets on your case about the weights you use. I appreciate the fact that you are honest in the amounts that you lift, and you certainly seem to have your head in the right place with the attitude of properly working the muscle, and not just slinging weight around. It seems as though you are working on effectively learning how to gain lean mass and avoid excess fat gain, and not just pack on fat, and I applaud you for that. Keep up the good work.

Well, first things first. ;)

Comparing the effects about Restore, and Alpha Drive XL might sound like they are similar. Surprise! They are not at all.

Common effects:
Oily skin/small acne once in awhile
Enhanced libido, and woodies everytime I woke up to urinate.

Different effects:
Restore had no improved sleep, and no increase in aggressiveness. BUT: I just got off X Factor and XF did increase aggresiveness a little, so the difference was not noticeable as the break from the two was not very long. Restore kicked in a lot faster than Alpha Drive XL, and both are a great choice for PCT IMO.

As for FnF, she is very kind, and I know she just wants to help. I follow my intuitions, and try some new things, one thing at a time. I firmly beleive that the weights stated by 90% of forum members are exagerated just to look stronger than another one. Bottom line, everyone does it, and what some think is the norm might end up discouraged, as they don't lift half of what some forum members do. This might end up in some beginners to try to lift the most they can (even what they can't) and end up having serious injuries. I don't care about that, as I ain't a liar and am a straight shooter.

For the fact that I want to gain lean mass, I beleive that for example:

1st guy: Gains 30 pounds, 15 pounds muscle, 15 fat. Once he cuts, he has probably 8pounds of solid mass left. He was depressed during all his cutting phase, school grades were affected by the low carb, strict diet.

2nd guy: Eating very clean, and gained 10 pounds. Once he cut, the diet will be easier, and shorter, he will probably keep all his mass or lose 1 pound if he was too strict and was short in time. On top of that, all the chicks he slept with were able to see his abs year long because he had it clean all the time.

Who is the winner?? I think it's pretty easy..

Anyways, Thanks for all the support guys/girls, and I will not be negative, as everyone are trying to help with their way of seeing things :)

Max,

JJOhn and I have a special relationship, its something like this, I have boys his age, and I like to encourage jjohn to be his best, you do not know all the pm we send back and forth, I do not RAG on him, I respect him for working so hard. I may tease, but my friends know me well enough to know thats what Im doing, you however would not because you are not my friend. I am a supporter of jjohn and his logs, are you?

Fair enough, I'm obviously not privy to the behind the scenes communications you have with jjohn, I just didn't care for the seemingly derogatory nature of some of the comments made. I'm all for supporting fellow members in their pursuits, hence my concern at comments of the nature "I'm a woman who's been working out for a few months, I eat more and lift more than you". At face value they seemed to be akin to bullying of a sort. Perhaps I'm just too damn sensitive for my own good, no offence intended on my part if it was taken.

I think we all need a nice group hug, why can't we all just get along? lol So FNF you've got sons, so you have any daughters by any chance? ;)

LOL, Nope no daughters, If I had any they would be locked up till they were 35 :toofunny:

Allright guys! I will update this log tonight. Thanks for all the support guys, and peace ;)

Trust me FNF you lucked out, i've got 1 sister and i dunno how my parents handle that, lol. I look at it this way , guys can't get pregnant, lol.

DAY 26

This was a pretty decent day. I did:

BACK
- Barbell Rows 115 x 12, 145 x 10, 145 x 8
- Wide-Grip Lat Pull downs 70 x 10, 70 x 7, 60 x 8
- Dumbbell Pullovers 60 x 10, 70 x 7, 75 x 5
- Hyper-extension Machine 25 x 12, 25 x 12, 25 x 12

I have had a lot of decent sleep even though I feel pretty stressed with my schedule etc...

DAY 27

Today, I relieved a lot of stress by knowing that I will have a job during school( two to be precise..) I did a short workout this evening.

SHOULDERS

- Arnold Presses 40 x 7, 40 x 6, 40 x 5
- Seated Dumbbell Side Laterals 20 x 10, x8, x8
- Seated Dumbbell Rear Laterals 15 x 10, x 10, x 10
- Dumbbell Shrugs 100 x 12, 110 x 12, 110 x 12

I am gaining a lot of strength and aggresiveness. I am feeling like my back has way more definition than ever, so thats AWESOME!

I used tribulus at 18 and it just boosted my sex drive even more, lol. Does this feel more potent then like a standard tribulus supplement? That's if you've ever tried tribulus. And nice to see some younger guys with dedication.

Thanks bro ;) I have used real tribulus before, but noticed nothing really, except incredible acne while on the liquid one, and I had to drop it.. So far, I love this product, and thanks for your support ;)

Just make sure you are surrounded by females my friend or you'll be getting tendonitis awfully quick, lmao

This was a pretty decent workout. I was pretty pumped, and had great energy. Sleep is still extremely good.

DAY 29

Today was an off day. I worked and got to school all day. I finished work at 9:30 and right away, got to sleep.

DAY 30

I did:
BICEPS
BICEPS
- Incline Dumbbell Curls 40 x 8, 40 x 6, 40 x 6, 40 x 5
- Seated Dumbbell Hammer Curls 40 x 8, 40 x 8, 40 x 8, 40 x 8

I had one helluva pump in my arms when I was done with this workout. I am feeling like I am 15 again! You know, the time when any pair of boobs is exciting (well, not ANY...) :)

***Just to conclude in depth, I will post the final conclusion, along with gains/progress tomorrow, and along with some pics of course ;)

FINAL JUDGEMENT

Here we are, at the end of this journey.

I will use the same format as my previous log, as it seems a lot of people like it like that.

1st impressions:

Well, I saw that Bioscience was looking for testers for a new formula, created by ALRI, and it looked pretty complete. I wanted to run it solo, and I got the chance to do so. The formula looked pretty similar to Restore, which I did a log of. So I said to myself: "Hmmm, I can try both, and then inform members what is the best!"

Convenience

For the convenience, this is as simple as it gets. 3 times a day. No headache to ask yourself wether you took it or not.

Sides

For the side effects, I found that even if this is a tribulus extract, and it is well known to raise LH levels, which increase aggressiveness, I did not experienced any bad temper whatsoever, maybe very minimal, but nothing to blame it on the product. I had a few acne signs on my face, and very oily skin during the use of this product, which is normal for a test booster.

Pumps

I did not experienced "out of the ordinary" pumps on this product. I had a lot of hardness added for sure, which is pretty good.

Other stuff

Well, other benefits of it were incredible rest. I felt fresh whrn I woke up, and this is just a thumbs up all the way!

Gains

The gains on this product were pretty decent. Diet was strict all the time, and I was enjoying the constant gains during the test.

DAY 1
6 feet 1
Weight: 183.4
Arms: 14 3/4"
Waist: 34 3/4"
Chest: 41 1/2"
Quads: 22 1/2"

DAY 10
Weight: 185
Arms: 14 3/4"
Waist: 34 3/4"
Chest: 41 3/4"
Quads: 22 3/4"

DAY 20:

Weight: 185.6
Arms: 14 3/4"
Waist: 34 3/4"
Chest: 41 3/4"
Quads: 22 3/4"

DAY 30

Weight: 185
Arms: 14 7/8"
Waist: 34 3/4"
Chest: 41 3/4"
Quads: 22 3/4"

I am looking harder and I see more definition in my arms and chest. My shoulders look like they have cuts, even though I ain't really lean. I am really happy to have had the opportunity to test this product, and really liked the results. Please note that the measurements may not be 100% accurate, as I took them myself with no help.

Here are a few pics. Please note that light is reat bad, I mean real bad, and pics are not really good. I will post them up anyways, but I just want to say that I look a lot better than day 20, which look probably better than these. :)

Nice honest, or at least appears honest to me, reveiw Jjohn. No over the top gains and your average joe lifestyle filled with stress and distractions. Nice log and we appreciate it here. Final review sums it up nicely as well!

Thanks, it is honest, as I am always honest in every review I do. Some exagerate, but they punish themselves at the end. So this is the way I do it, and thanks again ;)

Great job on the log JJohn!

I agree with Fit n' Firm; I can definetly see major progress in your upper body. Keep up the good work and you might just give Ronnie Coleman a run for his money here shortly. :nutkick:

Stay turned because I will be annoucing the contest winner this Friday, September 15th.

Thanks!

Well, first of all, I want to say that it's been a pleasure to run a log for you, and even though I don't expect to win, I won the opportunity to test Restore and Alpha Drive XL as soon as they came out.

Thanks again ;)
