Mine are and I wear thin socks with them. The leather is very supple so even at 1/2 size too small they'll stretch. I can send you these if you want to try them without a commitment.So get ~1 size down?
I like the template. Do you ever work with the axle? I like Sean's suggestion of paused front squats (don't get mad at us, Bev!) Just don't pause them ass on ankles, try to hold up in the hole. Paul Carter just had an article on T-Nation involving a volume cycle of paused high bar, then a volume cycle of high bar, then a short peaking cycle of competition style low bar, so it falls in line with that and also with my philosophy of using hard variations to keep the absolute load on the body low, while still working with a variation that is difficult and provides great carryover.
I agree on front squats, very helpful for a sumo deadlifter.
Though doing JM conventional followed by 5/3/1 sumo block pulls sounds like too much work. I rather see DE sumo against mini's instead, she gets great form work off the floor to keep the movement tight, and still hits extra lockout.
He recommends that the lower body days only be done for the prescribed reps, if that changes your opinion.
I'm not a big fan of DE work, typically. Do you think it would be that much better than doing the 5/3/1?That seems more feasible, but if her hips can handle it, I feel like id prefer DE against bands.
Even just 2" blocks can work around mobility issues, if necessary.
Also, Sean1332, how much did those Rheband briefs cost you and is it worth it to get a pair?
