Jdg's 26 Week Prep

I don't bother with brown anymore honestly.

Do you use any intraworkout carbs?

I was mixing Karbolyn with aminos and drinking them intra but ran out. I picked up some of Dat Der Celltech pretty cheap and have been using it as a intra, actually toward the end of my workout, carb/creatine. Then having a white potato with my post meal.
I'll try to do like Tyga said and mix my carbs. I'm limited on the amount I am taking in so I have to watch how much I use.

Ooh bro I am so jacked just found out my new guy has HALO that is the boomb.. it's been so long since I've touched that it is the baddest of.the baddest number one favorite aas

I've went hypo before and this is almost what it feels like...

I get it, light headed and out of focus. I used to carry some rice cakes around for such occasions. Low carbs and high volume are a trigger. Here's something else to consider, we often use a lot of BCAA's which cause insulin spikes and with virtually no sugar in the blood this could definitely cause some situations where you could go hypo. High workout frequency is a thing I have to watch as well.

Made it in for some early morning fasted cardio. I've been working on some pretty quick sprints, running at speed 10, for 10 sec on 10 sec off. I make it about 8 rounds then walk for a bit. I've only made it 14 rounds total so far. After about 12 I look like a drunken stork! My feet quit landing where they are supposed to and running at that speed I don't want to end up on Youtube haha!!
So I'll walk/warm up for 5 mins, sprint for 3-4 mins, walk, and then sprint, then finish off with a fast walk. 20 mins total. I like it because it shoots my HR up to 170-175 pretty quick sprinting like that.

Things are changing up again. Back to part time work. My plans were to do cardio in them am and pm and lift in between sometime. Well for now my hours are kind of screwy so I may do my 2nd cardio session after my workout some days. Just gotta go with the flow and keep pushing forward..

yeah i do my 2nd cardio after weights it's supposed to work better because weights burn glycogen or something so it's kind of like fasted cardio

I'm competing in the NPC Missouri state championships. July 18th I believe. Just touched base with my coach so well see!

I don't know how you guys go with no or low carbs? Not having any until after my workout is rough some days. Especially today! I did sprints early this morning, then a hell of a back workout, and the stairclimber afterwards, this afternoon. Not sure how I made it through.

Not a lot of sets for each exercise, but this routine hit's it from every angle.

Didn't go to failure on any of the sets, just short on my last rep.

I start my new job tomorrow evening so I am thinking I will do the same as today. Early morning cardio, then in the afternoon lift and cardio again.
I won't weigh in again until Monday morning to see where I am at. I am also going to try T3 again, but I have to order some so it will be a bit.

An example of a low carb day like today.

1 cup coffee, 2 tbs coconut oil
Cardio

1 cup egg whites/ 2 whole eggs

12 oz lean burger, 1 cup broccoli

workout/cardio
75g fast carbs intra and post workout

8oz chicken breast, 1 cup broccoli

8oz venison, salad with vinergeratte dressing

We deal with low carbs by eating high fats early in the day. You may want to add more fats but it looks ok to me. Everybody is different though what's enough for one person may be low for another. I don't have a very fast metabolism.

You are cycling carbs or refeeding ?

Kind of both. I set it up a little different than most. My high carb days are Monday and Friday which are leg days. Tuesday is a mod carb, Wed and Thurs are low, and I will try for <20 on the weekends. I would like to just say screw it and go keto, but I don't deal well with no carbs haha.

Sounds good, I go 2 different ways carb cycle or low carb with small refeeds on Monday and Friday and then I will use larger refeeds at strategic times. It all depends where I am at.

Personally I wouldn't dip that low on the weekends. 100g right now would suffice. You're still early in you're prep brotherman, your throwing everything but the kitchen sink at the first two weeks of prep.

How many weeks you got left ? I think I asked before but I forgot, old fuggers do that.

think he's 11 weeks out. His show is April 4th.

He's not behind by any means. He's recent pictures look like he's on track if not a little ahead

Then you could be right about the carbs yah, don't want to use up all your adjustments too early. Something to consider for sure, I still don't have all the data but it he's on track 75 does seem a bit low. That also depends what his other days are carb wise.

My carbs are 205g- 148g- 104g- 104g- 205g- 0g- 0g Monday through Sunday.
Yes I am 11 weeks out, and you guys are probably right about being a little low. Just getting nervous is all ;) I can't take clen so I am going to try T3 again soon to see if that helps. I am doing cardio twice a day. Sprints in the am and stairclimber in the evening after my workout. Total around 30-35 mins. I've lost 3lbs in 11 days so I should be doing ok, like I said, just nervous. I see guys who are 8-10 weeks out on other shows and are way leaner than I am.

I never used T3 or Clen diet is sufficient to get it done. You are using are a mix of no carb and carb cycle there by the look of it. I think you could up you weekend carbs to at least 75g and still be working a pretty solid cycle. Just my opinion about what I have seen so far. Stick with the cycle for a while then only use that 0 carb in a pinch. When you go really low carb like that you may want to do a couple really heavy refeeds. Not too many, you don't want to fug too much with your insulin sensitivity.

Because they're leaner @ the same timeframe doesn't mean much. They'll be trying to maintain mass without dipping into losing muscle, some guys try to "grow" into shows as well.

No need to be nervous, trust the process. If you can't do clen, look at albuterol or peptides.

I know..... the feeling. I did 2.5 hours of cardio last night. I am going to go old school from my fighting days start doing roadwork running 50yrd sprints burpees etc. I think that really burns the calories and tires you out.

2.5 hours is insane!! I saw in your log where you were running the streets around your neighborhood. I wish is wasn't freaking 10 deg here I would take our boxer out for a jog in the mornings. He's getting to be a lazy dog anyway haha.

I got in 25 mins cardio this morning, but it was just a fast incline walk. I hit my calves pretty hard Monday, and from doing sprints and the stairclimber so much this week they are not recovering, still sore!!

I'll be headed back to lift in about an hour and then off to work this evening.

.

-16 Celsius (3F) in Toronto this morning... didn't stop me! :)

Quick question... what does coconut oil taste like in coffee? I typically have a drop of skim milk and a splenda in coffee, would it replace both?

- learning alot in this log...

I don't really taste it. I use it one, for a little extra boost of energy, and two I try to keep my fats higher in the morning with no carbs. So no, it wouldn't replace the "taste" you would have from skim milk and splenda.

Yeah i know. and crazy part was I was going to go longer but wife got home.... I'm going to start old school after work. 10sets of 10 burpess have you dying faster than an hour on the treadmill. I'm thinking I might be coming in around 147lbs to acheive the look I want. But you know your've competed at bantam weight and I'm only 5ft 1 so even down at that weight I maintain a good thickness

Hell ya, at your height 147lbs would look awesome!! ^^

Doing great in here!!

Thanks bigred. I've been following along everyone's log just not posting much. Just started studying today, so I need to quit looking at the laptop and stay in the books haha

Thanks man.. will give it a shot.

Guess I need to stop being a puss :(

LOL, well I wouldn't say that.. I just find indoor cardio torturous..

It may just be me, but I don't find that there is that much flavor in C.Oil.

Gotta work tonight and wont be off until 9, then back in at 7 in the morning. So I will probably just wait till after work and do my cardio and weight lifting.

Looking good man! I'd have to agree, you look right on track.

Looking great!! Most definitely right on track! Your delts are just ridiculous!! (Just a little jealous!)

I got pics I finally found out how to load them

Btw first pics is abs some feedback on how they look for 11 weeks out appreciated

Yah you appear to be right on target to me as well. Keep grinding and you will be more than good.

Thanks everyone, makes me feel a little better getting positive feedback.

mixedup I have no idea what it is right now. I need to start checking it. I just use some small digital calipers, but after about a week of checking it everyday I get pretty accurate. Whether the calipers are accurate or not I don't know, but at least I can still see my progress if the % goes down.

As for my delts, they are one of my favorite body parts to work. I'd rather see a huge delt pump on shoulder day, than a bicep pump ;)

My delts were getting huge pumps till t3 but with lowering t3 and the refeed I hope they are popping tonight

Ya I lost all self control tonight. I ate good all day then went to the store tonight to get some egg whites. In the kitchen area they had homemade lasagna cheese roll ups. Sooo, I figured I would have a little cheat and carb up some. Right! I ate 6 of them, plus had a huge bowl of cereal afterwards!! I am only hoping it helped jumpstart things because I have been low carb.............
