Java Luster hair appears thinner

So I really like Java Luster. Been using it for about a wk now. Leaves my hair very very clean feeling... different from all other shampoos I have used. The only problem that I have noticed is after using it and letting my hair dry the appearance is my hair looks thinner on top. I am not sure if the hairs stick together leaving my scalp more noticable. Or whats going on. But went back to my other shampoo and conditioner for thinned hair to see and definately got more of a thickened look and very little scalp visiable after the hair dryed. Just wondering if I am the only noticing this effect or whats going on. So right now I have been using my older shampoo in the morning to give that thickened look during the day and then in the evening after the gym I use the Java Luster.

Ohh yeah and the only other minor complaint is the paper label on both java luster and the java liquid soap... falls apart all over my shower... wouldnt mind but the lady of the manor is giving me hell about it LOL so would be great if it was printed on the bottle or a good plastic label that would fall apart when left in the shower... but like i said minor problems

I have not had that issue with the shampoo. Although we are getting labels printed now for the shampoo. Those were just our beta labels to get the product out.

Low quality shampoos tend to strip away healthy oils, while leaving "residue" on hair. While I find my hair actually feels richer and thicker, depending on how your hair was before (styling product buildup, etc.) it is possible that it might feel thinner in comparison?

Final label art is FINALLY complete on both. Thanks for bearing with us while we waited for invoices to be paid off in order to order final labels.

The conditioner will also be completed very soon and shipped out.

It wasnt the feel of the hair after using the shampoo it was the appearance when my hair dried. There was definately more scalp showing, giving the appearance of thinner hair. And this occured multiple times after using just the shampoo. Dont get me wrong my hair feels a lot better after using the shampoo, definately a different feel from other shampoos. Just curious about this affect.

I agree, in fact I was just noticing my thinner looking scalp last night. It was kinda freaking me out. Im not sure whats happening. I have been using Java Luster and Veril Mane for about 6 weeks now. I am going to add Vitamin D3 to my daily supplement intake, hope it helps.

I certainly got the same effect - hair tended to clump together more (just like how it would look if you put some styling wax on it), and scalp is showing more. When hair is dried after a shower, the scalp also seems a little more "shiny" than after a shampoo with nioxin. I have a sense that this shampoo might need some reformulation for those with oily scalp. My scalp is rather oily, and it looks terrible with all the sheen at the end of the day (not when using JL, but generally speaking).

I just switch back to nioxin to see if it is indeed JL that caused all this. However great it made my hair and scalp feel (and it does feel good), if it makes it look worse cosmetically, I'm not going to use it.
