It's university studied in trained men, don't know of many who can say that ;-)

There's a lot of feedback, try searching "Anabolic Pump" it was formerly known as such but same great formula.

USPlabs AP(TM) is kin of unique. It acts to work without the use of insulin by signaling GLUT-4, simply take 1 cap 15-30min before a carb containing meal and one can sometimes feel the difference with the reported "food pump"

Very beneficial for bulking and cutting, check out some reviews, I think you'll be in for a present surprise.

Regarding AP(TM), Distilled pretty much said it :-)

I love AP I used it in my last prep and noticed how quick I went into ketosis while carb cycling.

I'm a huge believer in this product and have tried most others. Just wanted to share, not trying to hijack. Hope you guys enjoy your stacks and thank you all for the continued support

The only other product I've used that is similar to AP is the original Slin-Sane. I used to love doing the pre-bed dosing. Is that also popular amongst AP users?
 
What's awesome yet funny is that the OE protein, tastes so good I refuse to add anything to it, ie, waxy maize, creatine, or glutamine

Yes

Most likely due to the fact that it's the more potent GDA ... Try taking it on an empty stomach and you should notice an improvement in sleep quality. It would also increase seretonin levels for deeper sleep

Food pumps are extremely apparent at lower body fat % as well as the ability to increase carbohydrates while keeping fat gain at a minimum or flat out non existent... Also an extremely valuable tool for those, including myself, who train in a fasted state

Will we be getting tracking #'s or anything when the prizes are sent out? I'm going on vacation in a couple weeks so I'm just trying to make sure things don't get left on my doorstep when I'm not home :)

It depends on what shipping method we use. Usually there is tracking but not always. As I mentioned above these should ship this coming week. :)

One of my favorite products ever, AP (Anabolic Pump) is a leading nutrient partitioning agent that synergistically stimulates preferential glucose and nutrient uptake in skeletal muscle cells as opposed to fat cells, while promoting fat loss by inhibiting adipogenesis (creation of fat cells) and adipose differentiation (the maturing of pre-adipocytes or "young" fat cells into "adult" fat cells), completely independent of insulin. Through these pathways, Anabolic Pump efficiently employs the anabolic (muscle-building) power of food, supporting optimal nutrient uptake, accumulation of lean mass and reduction of fat stores.

In particular, berberine, an isoquinoline derivative alkaloid and one of the main bioactive constituents of Anabolic Pump, has been demonstrated to possess a variety of beneficial pharmacological effects. Berberine may support significant insulin-sensitizing, glucose-disposal, anti-hyperglycemic (excess blood-sugar reducing), anti-adipogenic (fat-production reducing), anti-diabetic, and other effects. Beyond reducing fasting blood glucose levels, berberine supports lower blood plasma triacylglycerol (stored fat) and free fatty acid levels, reduces levels of C-reactive protein (an important marker for chronic inflammation) and cholesterol, ultimately leading to improved peripheral insulin sensitivity and nutrient uptake.

Furthermore, berberine stimulates the up-regulation of the expression of the enzyme 5'-adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) [a key enzyme and "molecular master switch" that plays a critical role in cellular energy homeostasis], mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK), p38 MAPK (for insulin-independent glucose uptake), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARa), uncoupling protein-2 (UCP-2), as well as hepatic (liver) nuclear factor 4 alpha (HNF4a). The activation of AMPK leads to inhibition of fatty acid synthesis (production) and increased fatty-acid (beta) oxidation in the liver and adipocytes (fat cells), as well as the synthesis of cholesterol in the liver. Conversely, it down-regulates the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARg), PPARg cofactors, as well as resistin. In other words, berberine beneficially modulates glucose and lipid metabolism via multiple molecular mechanisms.

One mechanism through which berberine induces its anti-hyperglycemic activity is by acting as a potent competitive inhibitor of the human protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (h-PTB1B). PTB1B is a negative regulator (inhibitor) of insulin signaling (or signal transduction), so that PTB1B levels are high in insulin-dysfunctional states. In other words, PTB1B down-regulates insulin action and insulin sensitivity in skeletal muscle and fat cells. Consequently, by inhibiting h-PTB1B, berberine allows the restoration of cellular insulin sensitivity and reduces plasma glucose levels.

In terms of the inhibition of lipid metabolism, berberine accomplishes this by blocking adipogenesis (new-fat formation) in fat cells via inhibition of PPARg and C/ERB alpha, and by activating PPARa. Furthermore, still on inhibition of lipid metabolism, berberine reduces GLUT4 mRNA (more on GLUT4 later) expression in fat cells and also reduces the expression of multiple lipogenic and adipogenic genes in adipocytes (fat cells).

The other component of Anabolic Pump, Crepe Myrtle (Lagerstroemia speciosa (stem)), also known as Banaba, contains bioactive ingredients known as corosolic acid and tannic acid (or tannins). Gallotannins are the main components of tannic acid. The ellagitannin Lagerstroemin is another tannin found in Lagerstroemia speciosa. This is important to mention, as the Banaba used in Anabolic Pump is extracted for corosolic acid and tannins which combine to deliver profound effects such as glucose-regulation and anti-diabetic activity.

A central biochemical pathway for the action of corosolic acid and its related tannins is the glucose transport-4 (GLUT-4) protein pathway. Glucose transport proteins shuttle glucose from the blood into cells. A specific glucose transporter protein, GLUT-4, found in skeletal muscle, fat, and cardiac (heart) cells, transports glucose from the blood into these cells. Usually, GLUT-4 resides deep within the cell, but can be translocated (recruited) to the surface of the cell by insulin, exercise, or by corosolic acid/tannins. The more GLUT-4 cells are recruited to the cell surface, the greater the amount of glucose clearance or disposal that occurs. It has been shown in clinical trials that corosolic acid and its related tannins can cause the translocation of GLUT-4 proteins from deep with the cell to the cell membrane to trigger glucose disposal, completely independent of insulin. The consequent reduction in the levels of circulating glucose promotes reduced adipogenesis.

Furthermore, in clinical trials, corosolic acid and its related tannins have been shown to down-regulate the expression of PPARg and not only suppressed the expression of pre-adipocytes, but also suppressed the differentiation of pre-adipocytes into mature adipocytes, while stimulating efficient glucose uptake, leading to significantly lower fasting and post-prandial (after-meal) blood glucose levels.

So, Anabolic Pump efficiently exploits the anabolic power of food, supports preferential glucose uptake in skeletal-muscle cells at the expense of fat cells, supports improved insulin sensitivity, supports reduced fasting blood-glucose levels, promotes reduced fatty-acid synthesis and increased fatty-acid oxidation, supports reduced GLUT-4 expression in fat cells, hinders lipid metabolism, supports the accumulation of lean mass, and induces pronounced fat loss. It induces all these effects completely independent of insulin!

I got chocolate (exactly what I requested!). I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I can tell you that it's the best-smelling protein I've ever come across. I'll be sure to post feedback (I have a feeling it will be of the positive variety!).
