Is there any electronic gadget for storing medical records?

Hello all, due to the difficulty in maintaining the bulky records of medical history I am looking out for any electronic gadget to manage the complete medical history of my father. I have gone through many of the services which give a wide range of electronics gadgets but couldn’t find any for maintaining the medical history electronically. If anyone from you knows any of such devices, then please let me know. Any help is appreciated.

Was going to mention that. Pretty hi-tech, and previously used mostly for dogs. You can get a RFID tag.

you can store all of your information online... then its accessible wherever you are from any web device. password protected of course. Privacy issues could be a concern, but dont save your password on computers and you should be fine. at least you cant lose it like you can a PDA... if you store it all on a PDA and lose the device, you cannot change the PW or do anything to protect the info... its out there.

I havent used google health, but i use a lot of their other services (gmail, google docs, calendar, scholar, igoogle, etc etc etc) and they are all top notch and google is dedicated to security
