Is H-Drol for me?

For the past few days, I've been reading and reading and reading about prohormones. At first I had no idea you needed to do a PCT or anything - at least I got that clear now.

I'm 6"3', 185lbs, 14% bf. I'm 20, turning 21 in two months. I've been working out since May 2010. Very dedicated (have been working out 3-4 times a week, tried one muscle group a day; tried two muscle groups a day), I sleep well, have been paying attention to my nutrition, but for some reason I hit a wall. And you're all gonna laugh, but I'm stuck at 140lbs at benchpress, 4x8. Which is ***** weight. I've been stuck at this weight for three months now - have been doing dumbell press 60lbs dumbell press in the mean time, hoping I would improve, but to no avail. Heck, I'm stuck at 60lbs at dumbell press as well.

I've tried creatine monohydrate, didn't do anything for me. Cycled it. Tried jack3d and other pre workout products, didn't do anything either. First two times I felt the beta alanines, now I don't feel anything anymore. I don't drink coffee and only use pre workout supplements once or twice a week (and cycle them 4 weeks, 2-3 off) so I am absolutely clueless as to why it doesn't do ****.

So basically I'm asking you guys is H-drol for me? As I said before, I've been reading on it like crazy. The only thing I wonder is, what if I only take one cycle? With a proper PCT, will I lose all the muscle I gain in the long run? As much as I enjoy reading the benefits of H-drol, I do like to keep it to one cycle. This is one of the few things I could not find any reliable information (that is, no other source apart from yahoo answers, lol) about.

Thanks in advance.

youve said that the supplements youve used didnt do anything for you . What were you expecting from them -more muscle? The supplements youve used are only an aid to help you on your way .Muscle to grow has to be stimulated by training in such a way to break the muscle fibres down .During rest periods the fibres thicken and the muscle get bigger. However you need to have a solid diet for the body to do that .Its no good not eating right and expecting supplements to do the work , they wont.

At 21 imo h-drol or any other prohormone/ steroid is not for you. Your testosterone levels will be at a peak , take advantage . Get your diet in order 5/6 small meals a day consisting of good carbs, ie sweet potatoes, brown rice, whole grain pasta, and protein -fish, chicken turkey , lean red meat and good oils eg walnut oil, almond oil, extra virgin oil..
The kitchen will become your friend and youll probably get sick of making meals ,if you do get some tupperware boxes , cook all your chicken pieces in one go ,just to make it a bit easier.
Stick withit but before embarking on any prohormone/steroid course , you need to get the basics right first

U haven't really reach a plateau u only 20. Tweek up ur diet and lift harder give urself some more time natural. Also u ony tried creatine and jack3d. There's a lot of choices out there besides ph to help u. A natural test booster, hgh, beta alanine, bcaa, creatine (which one u used?, u can try other pre-workouts there's tons of good ones (asgt, 1mr, n2kts, maximize v2 just to name a few)..trust me try all the supps before u give up and head the ph route. But diet, training, rest is priority bro!....

Thanks for replying, corsaking and halfhuman, really appreciate it.

Regarding my diet: I pay close attention to my protein intake (chicken, fish, cottage cheese). I don't expect supps to build muscle - I expect them to assist me (that is, let me lift more when taking jack3d or getting an extra rep in when on creatine) in doing so. I eat a **** load of wholegrain bread to get my carbs in, will be looking into bcaa & creatines. I think I will let the idea of prohormones go for now. Again, thanks bros!

I don't think h-drol is for you right now. Give your body more time to lift and build naturally. If you have been lifting for not even a year, your body has a lot more potential. If you want to break through your gains, do 5x5 lifts instead of 4x8. Whenever I am stuck at a plateau that is what usually works for me. And I take superpump250 which is great stuff, and followed by just hard training.

So answer is no, not now, like the other guy said your test is very good right now at your age. If anything, go buy some ZMA from a vitamin store as that is just a natural vitamin of zinc, magnesium, and b12 I think. Something worth checking out. There is some argument as to whether it raises testosterone slightly or not, but an idea for you.

You welcome bro. We all here to help eachother. But def look into creatine stacked with beta alanine. Great combo. Look at creapure from pp. And def get bcaa. Ur diet looks in tact..

Yea change up ur chest routine..wat I found helppful is doing flys first to pre-exhaust the chest than ill do bench press...give it a try
