i have iron levels of 38.6 with the top range on my blood test being 28 (14-28)

i heard i should have gotten ferritin checked but since my iron is way high i guess ferritin is ok?

i heard that if ferritin is too low then thyroid hormone has problems getting in the body

im about to order a ZRT thyroid/saliva test, since i cannot get genova (can't do a blood draw here so have to do blood spot saliva)

jansz maybe you can chime in?

extra values:

transferin 2.32 (2-3.6)
TIJBC 58 (45-80)

Save money until you are able to do proper testing.

If you do not have doc's script to do tests, you can buy them from LEF.org
and then go to LabCorp to draw blood.

Iron serum means crap you need ferritin levels not serum iron to distinguish hemochromatosis
