Irish Cannon Gets Unnatural, Naturally - Part 1: PAL's Anabolic Edge (sponsored)

Now def has some good stuff

Solid morals all while showing the other side of the spectrum at the same time!

I see the movie sugggestion time is over, but another one came to mind for future references, spurred on by CT's reference to a flick with solid morals - what about Trainspotting? High morals & character fortitude thruout..

I agree. Good movie

Day 6

Week 1 Picture Updates!

I haven't had my camera around. I'm about 30mins from my house right now. Parents are out of town and I'm watching their dog for them, but I figured out how to work their webcam. Word.

Lookn leaner man! How long you been training?

Well you def look like a dedicated trainer man. (no homo)

Techie Irish man, figuring out the webcam..

Looking good dude (no homo to appease Metroba), dig the bicep vein, good side tri shot too..

Thanks guys. Looking forward to this coming week. Lifts should be good. I've got both of my low-rep, powerlift days this week so it will be interesting to see the numbers.

haha awesome

Looks like Gustav is going to be coming close to me. The winds are already out there. Took my little dog on a walk and he was pretty much falling over from all the wind gusts. How's it look your way, Metroba?

good luck with it guys. I hope it doesn't get anywhere near as bad as the last one to hit your area did. I will keep you in my thoughts.

Looking good Irish. Have you thought of shaving?
I can't wait to start AE myself tomorrow!

Hahaha.

1: "Drinking is bad."
2: "But I'm Irish."
1: "Oh, sorry. Nevermind."

1:"You should shave."
2: "Eh, I'm Irish."
1: "Oh, okay. I didn't know."

1: "You're a cocky butthole."
2: "Ya, I'm also Irish."
1: "Oh, ****. I'm sorry."

Ya, it works pretty well.

It's yet to have failed me

A buddy of mine who is heading to Iraq soon and I were talking yesterday and as usual he was trying to bring up Italian supremacy over Irish. We BS'ed for a bit and then his wife comes over and starts listening. Either way, he made one more dumb comment and she says "but honey...how Italian can you be with a name like Kevin Joseph"

I nearly fell down laughing...his own wife raised the flag for Ireland ;)

Not bad. Keeps going back and forth. From sunny and windy to raining hard and very windy.

I bought some McCann's Steel Cut Irish Oats at the grocery store. Although today isn't a carb-day (ended last night), I decided to try just a small bit of them because they looked so much different than regular oats. They are incredible! I added a bit of cinnamon and splenda and they really are fantastic. If any of you guys have a hard time eating oatmeal, I recommend getting these.

You bought them because it's an irish brand ya big faker ;)

Seriously though...they really are much tastier than normal oats. I haven't bought them in a while because my last organic oat purchase was HUGE...but I am looking towards the end of that supply and good old McCann may have another visit in store!

Well, that definitely grabbed my attention, but I read the nutritional profile of the Quaker brand steel cut oats and McCann's, and McCann's was slightly better.

I wish I could eat oats but I cant because of this damned disease. :(. Im not even allergic to the oats. Its just that most oat companys manufacture there stuff in the same area as gluten so it gets cross contaminated. It is my life goal to find a factory that make oats but not around gluten. I love the taste of the stuff so much it hurts me I cant eat it.

Im allergic to gluten. It takes a spec of bread in my peanut butter jar for me to get symptoms. Its pretty crazy. If its a little bit it wont hurt me too bad but say like a slice a pizza - Im going to feel like sh1t for 3 days. I get sooo bloated it looks like I gained 15lbs of fat in a day and it usually take about 3 days for the bloated to go away. Imagine being in elementry school and not being able to eat Oreo's. Or having the munchies - and no oreos

There are quite a few organic companies that make things that are gluten free. I don't have the time right now but the place I shop at (earthlight) has many products that are gluten free. not sure if oats is one of them.

Is there a wegman's near you? There selection of gluten free is also usually fairly large.

If you guys want a good laugh, check out the thread in the Anonymous section about Prime being a flop. I'm getting berrated over there by a bunch of people afraid to show their faces.

oh yeah there is a lot of gluten free stuff goin around now. although, a lot of those companies dont realize its not gluten free if you manufacture it in the same factory as gluten products. But the ones that dont are great. I just cant find an oatmeal brand that isnt made near gluten.

And no never heard of wegmans. but we have Whole foods, Chamberlins, Liberty bakery here in Orlando.

oh snap i gotta see this

haha I lived in west palm beach for a year and don't know if i've been to any of those places. I did a lot of shopping at Winn Dixie and Publix when I was down there.

When I get some time I will head down there and check out their stuff and see if they carry anything. At the worst, I can give you the name and you can look them up online.

true. appreciate it man. Publix has started carrying some gluten free stuff. Like macaroni, spaghetti, ravioli. So I think things are lookn better for me in the future.

just checked out the Prime thread..funny stuff. I dont go in there to often tho. I think its sad members need to hide. I can understand if someone had something embarrassing they wanna talk about - they should keep it anonymous.

haha yeah I read it. Kind of ridiculous for sure. That dude just went off on a tangent cursing people out and stuff...real ridiculous.

I think I'm going to add some carbohydrates to my diet and see what happens. Probably a half-cup of steel cut oats in my PWO meal, and some black beans in my dinner. That will be an addition of about 70g a day.

Should have some nice strength increases/energy in the gym

Wow very dedicated diet! I like it!

Wow very dedicated diet! I like it!

Thanks. I actually really enjoy it. There isn't anything I eat that I force myself to get down. It all tastes pretty good. As you can see, the breakfast is rather large and it really helps kickstart everything for me in the morning.

Thats how you gotta do it man. I will NEVER do a fad diet ever again. I will give my body what it needs - sometimes what it wants and at the same allow myself to enjoy it. I cant imagine living any other way
