I don't have a lot of money for supplements (at least not as much as I'd like), but protein powder is one of my few staples. I normally buy whatever is on sale and is of quality. I just bought 5 tubs of OEP and tried that for the first time, since it was good and on sale. I tried a 55 serving tub of Select a few months ago, and that was just delicious. Really, it is better tasting, IMO than Select or even BSN's Syntha-6 and that is saying something since BSN has a much weaker nutrition panel (more carbs, more fat, lower quality, etc).

There is NO ONE in my life that doesn't think of me when they think of peanut butter. I mean NO ONE. I just love the stuff. I eat it by the spoonful sometimes (many people do I would guess). I've been wondering why Select didn't have a PB flavor - and then I see this thread.

Honestly, winning this would be so awesome, but I'm gonna buy it anyway....
 
Honestly, its for my girlfriend. She is the biggest pb cup fan and also loves baking with protein. I wanna get her just as hooked on select as I am so we can buy more lol
 
Gah! This is making me want to drive back to the US already lol 2 more packages at my PO box
 
Because Peanut Butter is my favorite snack. Select is the best tasting protein by far and this will not disappoint. I can imagine making all kinds of good food with the PB flavor!

intial review as shake is an 8/10, i think Blondie and SD still take the cake. can definitely taste the reese's aspect, but am gonna have it in oats tonight before I do a real review

This sucks. I am on a PSMF and right now, Peanut Butter Cup Select would be soooooo good.
 
I need to try because ever since ditching optimum as my sole source of protein powder/s i no longer had the best flavor from there line the chocolate peanut butter, when they released that i was so excited i bought some and thought it would be the best, sadly i was let down. but kept on using it still, since i still enjoyed it. then they released the Peanut butter hydro whey, which i fell for thinking it was an elite protein but most of all i really wanted a delicious tasting PB protein powder, and once again i was let down, but this time it tasted even worse than the gold standard.

so finally after all these years now only using select i would love to be able to have a PB protein powder that I look forward to and crave, not eat proats with or drink to only be left with an unpleasant chemically aftertaste.

Very anxious for Wednesday. This is my current protein of choice. Just picked up some snickerdoodle yesterday from VS with extra $ off from a rewards they game me.

My PB Cup Review

Savory, rich and creamy. It's my third favorite in the select line, behind Blondie and SD, but that's just a testament to those flavors. It's really good, easily the best Chocolate / PB Combo.

Upon trying it in different manners and focusing more on the flavor I can say its about 60/40 in favor of PB in my opinion. Which is awesome considering most Chocolate PB proteins taste like chocolate with fake PB, not this bad boy.

As A Shake - 7/10

Good, but not amazing tbh. SD and CnC trump it in the shake department in my opinion, but again compared to other Chocolate PB's (MP Combat, MT Whey, etc) this blows it out of the water. I give those 2-3/10's for a sake of reference. Had it with 8oz of unsweetened almond milk, like I do for all my Select shakes. I'm also not a big shake guy, so take this with a grain of salt

You can definitely get the taste of peanut butter and chocolate, but idk, maybe I was expecting more from the hype? It was good, really good, but definitely not the best for Select imo. As I said above, it's not a detriment to PBC, but more a testament to the other flavors

In Oats/Yogurt - 9/10

Bam! 9/10 on this. Flavored nailed and was straight up delicious. Blondie is my favorite mixed in oats, and now I have a top three of some mix of this, blondie, and Peanut butter cookie protizyme

Ice Cream - 10/10

First thing I was looking forward to and trying was this flavor mixed with peanut butter as soft serve ice cream, a la...

BOMB.COM!!!!! Unreal how similar the taste was. 8 oz almond milk, scoop and a half of PB Cup Select, and 2 TBSP of Natural Peanut Butter and my taste buds went to heaven. Very, very impressed.

Overall, I'd give it a 9/10. (For those wondering I give SD a 9.5/10 and blondie for me is a 10/10)

I'd love to try it in some pancakes, or a PB Cup Banana bread but time has limited me i the baking department as of late. I definitely will be picking up about 4-5 tubs of this when it drops on the insider, and need to re-up for blondie.

I just wonder what a giant bowl of protein ice cream mixed with blondie & PBC Select would taste like with PB now...

And cause we all like ranking stuff:

1. Blondie
2. Snickerdoodle
3. Peanut Butter Cup
4. Cookies n Cream
5. Chocolate

Thanks bdcc for letting me taste this bad boy and letting me review it. Another Select home run as far as I'm concerned!

Might be a bit harder... although I did have a frosted lemonade at chick-fil-a the other day, so maybe a lemonade protein can be possible

I've never tried it, but I've heard the XF Arctic Lemonade Whey is amazing.
