intra-wo??

Oh my...kinda makes me not believe **** he says now....thank god i didnt buy humapro, and wtf yet.
If you honestly feel he is not one to trust in terms of science and opinions i will just stick with what others say such as layne norton. He uses whey protein and so far as i know doesnt find the NNU of it useless, then he also supports regular bcaas, over bcaa malates. I wonder if chained out even has any BCAA in it or anything besides flavoring and theanine lol

Well no matter my personal appraisal of his character and previous far-less-than-respectable business doings, I always keep emotion clear of steering me into wild accusations and dismissing the entire set of theorems and product formulations he has put forth.

What I do subscribe to and enact in my own life and purchases in any sector of commerce however is judging the leadership first and gaining a perspective of their substance - in which case even should his company offer some sort of effective product, I am not of the persuasion to invest into a business captained by such self absorbed and shady helmsmen.

Right and ones character does make it hard to take pride in what they put forth.
I hold this opinion of scivation myself, i do respect Layne to no end and he has personally helped me in the past with no benefit to him.
But i did meet Mark and he simply told me his products where the best bc hes the owner, not a good way to gather a fan base imo.
But thank you for your help and keeping my mind clear, it make it a lil harder to know which science to believe these days

I had this identical experience with Marc, twice, in a two-week time-span (sure he meets a lot of people, so his short term memory after holding a long conversation and being introduced by a mutual friend must not be too sharp) so he must have that speech on repeat in his brain. The irony of their one-sided and short-sighted attack and dismiss in Alinsky type tactics is that they could actually gain more fans and supporters of their brand if they simply admitted there are other worthy brands out there (EVEN if it was purely self-serving and disingenuous)!

Anyway, just so everyone knows... "Author L Rea" is in fact Scott Michael Jensen.

im happy i was not the only one here to experience it.
I still use his companies products because of Layne. Does your sponsered friend use ALRI products or no?

Rosie is on point with her statements.
Your body is going to use the BCAA's for what it needs.
If you are depleted your body can convert the bcaa via gluconeogenesis.
Author feels that some AA's like arginine and glutamine are gluconeogenic amino acids and the body can readily convert them as needed to energy/glycogen.
It really depends on what your body requires at the time.

Yes he does, 'some' of them. Its hard to pass on something when its free, but without naming names I have actually thrown products away in the past from companies that promo'd them to me (and no I'm not talking about Scotti's company)

hey outstanding,
where could i find a solid creatine nitrate only product?
the only two "almost" only creatine nitates i found were APS creatine nitrate and SAN CM2 nitrate...I ask bc i wanna try a mix of Nitrate/Creapure/MCC...i have used Cre Nitrate in San Launch but how much is in there? only god knows
I trust scott and so far hes backed everything up with science hes said, I enjoy Chained Out for what it is, I may give humapro a shot when i run out of Myofusion too
He is also big on competive receptor sites for ingredients, something i like about his logic

I'm not sure... I have never tried this an a stand alone product yet and have not purchased supplements for a long time.

the only two "almost" only creatine nitates i found were APS creatine nitrate and SAN CM2 nitrate...

These are the only ones I am aware of, heard a lot of positive reviews of APS's product, but I have never used anything by them and always had a bad taste in my mouth, heard they copied the exact blend of EST's Plasmatic - but then again I'm first to admit a lot of near-copying goes on in this industry, we're all following the same emerging science and only have so many compounds to work with when devising something to follow the ebb and flow of the consumer demand.

I have used San's Fierce (powder) and their pill version Launch in the past two weeks... the powdered Fierce product made me nauseous for the entire night and actually ruined a birthday party I attended because I was so sick.

Proprietary blends are a plague.

I'm not really interested in bashing on Scott and his company repeatedly, his brand doesn't sell well enough to be taken seriously anyway, and his ads and self glorification are laughable. That being said, I just don't see anything worthwhile in his products to applaud, or revel in awe of. He kind of wrote Building the Perfect Beast a long time ago when he was an emerging sort of theorist, but since then has regressed into obscurity all while making his quick millions on a few lackluster products before certain bans went into effect.

I agree with everything you said above,
I no longer trust Scott or his "science"
Being on the fence as i was, i shot Layne Norton an email about the "science" of chained out and humapro...lets just say i was less then impressed....now if i could just get an estamated amount of L-Theanine that is in 1 scoop of chained out and i can never buy the product or any of ALRI's stuff again, there are NO studies on his ingredients thus useless imo...no research no use going in my body

Nothing like leading someone toward the light and allowing them to take in information from all sources and come to their own (right) conclusion. I'm very happy for you, and not merely because of the minuscule fact your change of heart involved stepping away from one specific company, but because you engaged in a process that is innate and runs strong through the construct of forums.

Would you mind pasting or PMing me the email from Layne please?

Controlled labs has some quality products, I have been using map and ibcaa's during my workout the past week, have noticed increased recovery with the map added.

Purple intrain is excellent by controled labs :)

Glad you like it... :)

We have two INTRA products:
Purple WRAATH (EAAs / essential amino acids)
&
Purple InTrain (more carb based)

Both products work excellent for providing energy and endurance through your workouts, and decreasing DOMs / recovery time.

Honestly the best combo i have used to far for pre/intra would be green mag/WhiteFlood/Purple intrain you cant go wrong the pumps are amazing and it gives me great focus best pre workout/intra sups i have used

ive used intrain b4, i hate waxy maize
I cant handle white flood bc of the gaba, does this sound right?
do you know how much leucine is in purple wraath?

ive always been one that believed intra-wo drinks were not needed if proper pre-wo and post-wo nutrition was in place.
however, my workouts typically take 1.5-2hrs now a days.
i eat a pre-wo meal 1.5hrs before the workout
have my pre-wo drink 45-30min before the workout
stims, bcaa, creatine, b.a.

then warm ups, lifting, cool downs-1.5-2hrs

then post workout
bcaa, b.a., carbs

then eat 20-30min later

my question is, would a intra-wo drink benifit me in this case

also im training west side barbell if that matters

an intra-wo drink would deff benifit you in this case.

I would say just 10-15g in a bottle of water you sip while working out.
I use pp's IBCAAs. and do the same suring workout (usually 40min -1hr long my WO's are)
this is ontop of a good PreWO and Post wo drink.
I think ther bcaas are great for growth and preserving muscle.
.
preWO i add in IBCAAs into ASGT or now laitly Guranimo abnd PostWO i add together 15g ibcaas, 1 scoop of MAP, 3-5g creapure, 20g dextrose.

Personally I love Xtend. Take 4 scoops intra and you're set. Plus you can get 45 workouts for around 35 bucks. Tastes great as well.

I went with 1/2 scoop of sizeon Mp and 1 scoop of intrabolic, it gives me aminos, leucine, taurine, beta-alanine, creapure, 20g quality carbs and a nutrient repartioner...so far i love it, i only use this combo on lift days, i use one scoop of intrabolic on conditioning days
