insane future mother in law

My girlfriend of the past several years is going through tough family times. Divorce, pfa's and just madness. Too much to explain through text and too much emotional drama to really justify with words.

So I'm in her house at the moment and the mother in law is absolutely tearing my girl apart just ridiculous obscene madness. I want so badly to intervene but am just terrified of the consequence.

Long story short, what's a brother to do? I've been putting up with this circus show for too long. And do not get me wrong, leaving is not an option as this girl is the one. But her mother is just downright insane were talking xannys. Abilify, all sorts of downers/ uppers and her emotions are just ape**** crazy. I'm in a bind here somebody lend a fee words of wisdom.
 
In the middle of the mother in laws banter just stand up and start screaming at the wall like a madman. Make it huge, tear off your shirt and go nuts like you lost your ****in mind. Then after like 2-3 minutes of all out chaos trying to fight the wall just calmly put your shirt on , turn around and smile at everyone , grab your car keys and say nicely "hey I'm going to the store guys can I pick you up anything? Maybe a soda?" Walk out and come back an hour later like nothing happened.

Are you living in the mother-in-law's place with your girl?
 
I am not living with them no, I was visiting last night. Im over there alot though I split wood for them, help around the house, move items in from the mothers old house that kind of stuff.
 
I would just grab your girl and get out of there. No reason to have her stand there and take the verbal abuse.
