Injection into glute...ouch!

Last Wed. night I injected into my left glute. When I pulled the pin out a lot of blood came out. I guess I just nicked a vein on the way out? Today my left glute has been tingling alot...strange eh? The injection site is sore and has what feels like a lump by the injection point. Any ideas? There is also a purple spot around the injection site, but it is very small. Smaller than a dime, way smaller.

Now today man, its still sore as hell! Now I have some kind of rash or something it looks like next to the site. Just a red area....i'm clueless...kind of tingles sometimes...
 
I'm no expert but I'd say you probably went through some blood vessel or nerve or something and it is now bruised. Glute shot should be painless. I know theres a big nerve going through the middle of your glute, but if you stay in middle of the upper half you should miss it.
 
Maybe you hit the sciatic nerve. This nerve runs down the middle of the glute then continues down the hamstring.
 
Could be you pulled out to fast, i normally let the needle sit for a few seconds then pull it out very slowly so i don't nick anything on the way out, never had my glute bleed though, had the with quads though, just a little drop though.

For one I SERIOUSLY doubt he hit the sciatic due to the fact that if he did not only would he have felt an unbelievable pain but he would have a lot of numbness down his entire leg.

Sounds like you just hit a bad area. Try to go a half inch or so away from that spot next time and you should be okay. The swelling and tenderness is probably just from the BA that is in the solution although I don't know what you injected so I couldn't tell you for sure. The redness can be caused by the same thing, test. prop. has a tendency to swell a given area and turn it red. The discoloration is just like a regular bruise, it is basically dried up blood under the skin and shouldn't be a problem. Just monitor the area and make sure the lump doesn't start growing, if it does see a doctor.
 
you could have jiggled the needle a bit and caused some bruising and soreness to the area.

I'll tell you this.....If you hit the sciatic nerve you will definately know it. The intense burning pain spreading from your lumbar area down your leg is something you surely wouldn't forget. In my profession I've witnessed this happen and it isn't pretty. As long as you stick to the upper/outer quadrants of your glutes you'll be fine. You most likely hit a small peripheral nerve ending and the pain will pass in a few days.
 
Swelling has gone down big time and it doesn't hardly hurt anymore. I guess I was just a bit parinoid.

Aids eh? LOL!

Ya if I remember correctly Aids causes purple spots.

This is what i'm betting on. It's hard to reach back and hold the needle steady while injecting. You may have moved a bit or jiggled the needle without realizing....well that or AIDS.
 
man i shot a new UG brand of test enan in my thigh about 3 days ago and godamn, feels like someone hit me int he leg with a bat after making fun of their mother. no redness but a little swelling. the depot settled down lower in my leg as the soreness is significantly lower than the injection point.

what we do to look like greek gods

My very first cycle, I ran some Denkall T-400. It was 400mg/ml plus about the dirtiest gear ever made. For a few days I had a lump half the side of a baseball (literally). It hurts just thinking about it. LOL

I get some blood sometimes, thats normal, a little mixes with the shot and a small amount exits the pin hole. you should by a box of alcohol wipes small 1inch squares from the pharmacy. wipe the port in the vial first wipe your injection site before the shot second and if you bleed apply a little pressure for a few minutes with the alcohol wipe. youll get a small lump and it may take a little time to go away if the oil is thick. Sometimes alcohol gets on the needle and thats burns like hell. As for as the purple spot, I never got that.

i just had a little bump and red rash on my leg and it hurt like hell go get antibiotics and it will go away you have a bacterial infection
 
quads are a really really bad place to pin for me. I break out on my quads a lot anyways, I always wear pants and a lot of sweat builds up around my quads. I never pin quads anymore for fear of the sweat/bacteria causing an infection in the pin site. I pin delts only now and have zero issues.

quads could just be a bad place for you guys to pin.

thats the only place ive ever pinned the problem was the sweat thing so now i shower EVERYTIME b4 i pin
 
The lump is oil u shot onnsurface on.fat area probably ****ty angle, its slowly.being dissolved and gettin.smaller. Good luck.man u should be well.
