I made amazing progress the first few months doing that. Like 50 to 100lbs on all those big lifts. But as soon as I started getting good at the big 3 that program stopped working. If I go over 350 on deadlift I'm toast for a week in my lower back.Yeah but we sucked more at what we did. Stronger you get the more damage you can do with less work. You take a 100lb woman who deadlifts 135 and she can pull that almost every day. A 275lb guy pulling 800+ may need a month to recover completely.
When I first started working out we had no idea what we were doing and would just do every machine in the gym for 3x10 for like 3 hours straight. And I couldn’t lift for **** lol
