We also spend millions incarcerating these people. I don't believe those high dollar figures anyway. That's what the death opponents would like you to believe. I am, and always will be pro death penalty. If were going to spend the money, spend it killing these vermin.

I never said I didn't like the death penalty, but the numbers don't lie, it's very, very expensive to execute a single person. If it were up to me I'd kill these people by the masses. Last time I checked a bullet to the brain didn't cost that much.

Thank you for pointing that out, I heard bullets are cheap at wal-mart so why does it cost more to execute them than giving them life in prison. If you shoot them with a cheap bullet you'll save a lot of money because you won't have to feed them in prison for the rest of their life. Maybe we can get these clowns to go hunting with Dick Cheney LOL
 
But seriously Delta, it costs more money to kill a person then to give them life in prision. Most if it is in lawer fees for the defendant.
 
It shouldn't cost more to put someone to death, but due to criminals having more rights than you or I, I'm sure the costs are up there. I do not believe the dollar amounts that the anti death penalty estimate, but I'm sure it is high. But you have to realize the mindset of allot of these people. Their life wasn't worth two cents on the street, and they can go to prison for life and have three squares, get an education, clothes, medical, etc......the things that most of us are struggling to offer our families.
This thread started after seeing what the barbarians did to a small hungry child for stealing some bread. Something has gotten lost here. I am not for putting the child to death, I'm for putting those rotten pieces of **** to death for what they did to the child.

Exactly, that's why I agree with Nate's proposal, line them up and see how many can die with one bullet. Save those lawyer fees.

BTW, can you guys believe that scumbag who recently killed a young girl has the nerve to ask for forgiveness so he won't go to jail after having taken that poor girl's life ! I can't think of his name, but he's been all over the news, he creeps up on the girl in the middle of day, they show it on video.

Even if it were true, syariah laws calls for amputation of limbs not crushing them, then there are strictures on age, monetary value of the stolen item etc etc.

I find it more likely that it was a cruel side-show of sorts.

Im not defending the people who did this. But i lived in the middle east and i never seen, heard anything like that.
People there are not cold hearted or animals like you think.

Most people there would be disgusted like you guys if they saw the pics.

Pics seems to be from a criminal who want to tutor the kid.
Im most Arabic countries theft is punished by jail time, and not by limb imputation, and if your a juvenile then its a different story. Only country in the middle east that uses limb imputation as punishment for theft is Saudi Arabia, and they rarely used it with children (which i think is totally inhuman).

I see the pic came from Iranian source, and if the post above is true. Its just a freak show.
