Idea for DSADE

How about a bulk "Airborne" type product, either capped or powder? I think it would sell... I'd buy it.

This woud be exceedingly easy.

I think the 50mg of glutamine is a joke...and there is a bunch in there that is simply multivitamins.

The following are the active herbal components:
Lonicera, Forsythia, Schizonepeta, Ginger, Chinese Vitex, Isatis Root, Echinacea

If we can get this portion, would you all be satisfied with stacking with a standard multi?

Are you saying you'd include this in a multi-vitamin??

Well, multivitamins are extremely cheap. Seems like a waste to cap a formula (or supply in bulk mix) something that can easily be had by popping a simple multi.

I am betting we could get the herbals in powder form, and a little research should yield enough info to make a pre-mix.

I'm in regardless of how it works out. People seem to swear by airborne and I know its a cheap production product with a high price tag due to marketing. Any alternative would sell imho. However you do it, I would buy it.

I already sent the quote request in...I agree that the timing on this is great.

So for clarification... You would just be getting the individual bulk items and we would concoct our own formula? Kind of like the mass pump stack??

I think we can get the herbal portion premixed for you.

No issues at all with stacking nutra immunity product with standard multi. Hope this comes to fruition quickly.

If you could take out the echinacea and sub astragulus I'd be in. For some reason echinacea seems to make me have increased athritis problems.

That would be tougher, considering that most people WANT the echinacea (great marketing job)...but might not be impossible. Let me keep seeing how we can make this happen.

I would biy NP Multi VIt.. Something like MVP, but cheaper, or larger quantities...lol

This is actually something that is in the works. Multivitamins are surprisingly cheap to manufacture.

Yet somehow companies always seem to charge quite a lot for a 30 day supply... I would love to see NP come out with their own multi

Dsade, check out andrographis for this formula.

Andrographis is an anti-androgen, though. Quite a few people might have a problem with that.

Yes

Just my opinion, but I think Airborne is a garbage pail of a product and a lot more money than it's worth. This was, afterall, designed by an elementary school teacher who had one too many shots of wheatgrass.

I wouldn't recommend replicating this, especially since you could probably make a much better product at a lower cost.

Let's not forget, that elementary school teacher is now a multi-millionaire whose product is being bought off the shelves around the world at high prices. I agree if you just want to market to the bb community then load it up with better things, but the typical public would not buy because crazy named herbs and overloaded supplements typically scare off the normal non bb people. If it were going to be something to be sold in a retail store, simple is typically better, as susie homemaker won't buy some crazy pills for her family.

Thats what this forum is for Bodybuilder's and as soon as people relize that for the most part they are replication bodybuilding (Arnold made it popular) then its the first who can successfully sell the idea's to the public world

So comes the success with any novel idea, look at what happened when someone superglued little eyes on a rock from the side of the road. I'm not arguing that she's successfully marketted the product. I'm saying NP could do tons better.

Agreed, but this would be a product to knock out that cold or flu fast, before it keeps you home from the gym. Andrographis would do that better than just about any other herb. Now if someone wanted to take this all the time, then it would be a problem. But for
2-4 days at a time, it would be just what the Dr ordered.

You have a point there, Dr. Verner

dsade,

This thread has caught my interest. What do you think would be the optimal 2-4 anti-flu/anti-cold formula, if you were deciding?

Dsade could u please tell me what anti-androgen means pertaining to the effects of Andrographis paniculata, i am asking cuz i have a quite a bit of andrographis 10% extract and i intended to use it in PCT, from what i have read it also suggests that AP is on par with milk thistle for liver protection
so i was thinking of using it while on cycle also.I also read that it is as effective as tamoxifin for treating breast cancer cells in some test-tube studies.
there are tons of benefits of AP but traditionally its been used for cold and flu.
please let me know what i should be aware of if i take this....and advise will be much appreciated

I'll try to find the studies.

Dsade: any word on the multi vitamin? I still can't find one that I like that lasts for a reasonable amount of time...

Staples should last at least 3 months.

Looks like we can get something comparable to the AST Multi 32x for around $10 per 100.
