I may be weird but I like adding in more vegetables when I try to put on weight

I do that as well since i feel it helps with digestion and makes me feel a little better about myself :LOL:
 
Real quick late night update after work. I can’t stress enough how interesting this compound is in regards to stress. I had to work the holiday without my help that was supposed to be on call, and we got busyyyyyyy but I never felt overwhelmed or overly stressed. It seems like the greater the stress the more this stuff works. Like taking a quiz or getting an assignment in on time I’ll feel a little bit of stress but when I’m in a big setting like a crazy crowded bar doing the job of two people I just feel totally fine. Working alone on a holiday I did make about 4x a normal night though so I got pretty excited and have been wired since I got off. Decided to take .25ml of neuro melatonin again, I have my last college final ever tomorrow and I’m hoping for a good nights sleep.

That’s pretty cool to hear, there is nothing worse then being stressed in stressing situations!

I have to read that a few times to see what he meant. Truth. Stress is a killer and it really does reduce reactions to stress and how it effects us.

I slept like a tank again. Neuro AET and .25ml or neuro melatonin is a better combo than any sleeping supplement or drug I’ve ever tried. Woke up plenty refreshed and ready to take my last ever college final! Very excited and glad that this log could not have come at a better time.

@cheftepesh1 I always try to get meat in every meal regardless of cut, bulk, etc. It’s pretty much the only thing I get excited to prep or cook. I envy the guys like you who have a passion for cooking because of how important the diet aspect of what we do is. Lately my favorite meal is shredded pollo asada chicken with chopped bell peppers, it works for bulking and cutting. When I’m going for calories I just add cheese on top

apples do it for me...if i eat a apple half hour later i am starving.
 
To celebrate the end of college I had a nice cigar tonight and a couple of drinks. Was just going to have one but a few of my coworkers were there and bought me drinks and I won’t complain 🤷🏼‍♂️ Didn’t get drunk by any means but I realized I’ve been so caught up in school, work, and lifting that I haven’t just let loose in a while. “Letting loose” for me apparently means 4 drinks and home by midnight now so I’m not as wild as I used to be but it was still nice to just kick back and celebrate. Sometimes alcohol and cigars mess with my sleep so I’m interested to see how I rest tonight

I'll agree with that but mainly because the only time I eat bell peppers are typically on pizza or fajitas and both ramp up my appetite ;)
 
First minor signs of dry joints, some joint clicking in the morning but gone within a few hours. No pain or discomfort but just a little noisy for the first bit of the day.

Forearm vascularity really impressed me today, for not doing anything that should have pumped them up specifically

Ethnic foods is where it’s at. I think it’s because it’s more about cooking Methods and seasoning then salt. Never been a fan of salt.

I agree! Although I have a feeling (at least for Mexican food) they put a lot of salt on there as well :) Or at least that's what I suspect because i'm always really thirsty a few hours after some Mexican dinner!

Mexican always seems super salty and my pollo asada seasoning is quite high in salt but I usually have a pretty decent salt intake to make up for the amount of water I drink. I have a great Jamaican barbecue seasoning that’s super low sodium though and that stuff is amazing on chicken🤤

Personally I don’t do well on salt. I guess I’ll have to create my own.

As far as the neuro AET I have not noticed many new effects besides increased vascularity in my forearms lately. I’ve been experiencing all the same positive effects as before and I’m still loving the experience. The ability to sleep whenever I want is very nice. I’m currently on vacation and I don’t have my home scale but I should be able to update for week three on Wednesday. I took the girlfriend on a last minute vacation to the ocean. Got in a really nice run at the beach today for some cardio

Nice! Just got back from vacation myself. Always great to get a little time away from work and enjoy time with fam. I always feel my workouts are better on vacation to!

There’s no better feeling than being called big when you’re leaning out. I’ll update weight in the morning but I’ve been consistently drying out and losing some weight over this run but today as I was driving along the girlfriend made a comment about how big I was looking 😁😁

traveled the world on a aircraft carrier, running on flight deck when there were no flight ops scheduled was a real trip.

when i lived in PI me and a buddy used to hike thru the jungle, always amazed when we came upon a waterfall...lots of climbable mountains also, along with eating a total asian diet with rice as a staple 3 times a day i was as fit as i've ever been...once i got acclimated to the heat and humidity i loved it in PI.
 
Still on vacation, the place I’m staying today has a scale but I’m not sure of it’s accuracy. Regardless morning weight was 183 which is interesting because even with vacation diet my waist measured at 31.5 which is .25 smaller than last week and my biceps/forearms look noticeably more vascular, even to my girlfriend.

The sleep lately has been amazing, I’m having more vivid dreams than ever before. My girlfriend says I don’t twitch in my sleep anywhere near as much as I used to which is very nice for her. That’s a really nice added bonus which I can’t really notice without someone else sleeping next to me so I haven’t been able to update on that until this trip.

The joint popping in the morning wasn’t as noticeable today as it was the last few days, really not much at all.

Still noticing slow but steady improvements in vascularity as well and vaguely seeing a few new veins in my shoulder I haven’t seen before.

Ok I apologize, I think yesterday is the first day that I didn’t update since starting this log. The vacation kind of ended early and kind of went longer than expected. We left the ocean to go visit family, had two family members have health issues at the same time. Stayed an extra night and had my shift covered to stay with family. My cousin is back in the hospital after complications with a major surgery and I did not end up being able to actually visit. In all honesty I missed thursdays afternoon dose and both doses friday. Spent the day Thursday and most of Friday with the other family member and then hurried back home tonight to get to work because I couldn’t have a second shift covered. It’s been a wild couple of days but I will absolutely be back on track tomorrow and the rest of the log will go exactly as planned.
 
If anyone has not heard the news yet Louie Simmons passed away. He was one of the most influential figures in my early powerlifting career and someone I have always looked up to. The man who taught me how to bench trained at Westside Barbell with Louie and most of the guys I lift with have ties to him in some way so this has impacted my circle in a big way. Louie had a way of living with uncompromising views and integrity that I always admired. I was informed that he checked himself out of the hospital against medical advice and passed away shortly after at home on his own terms. He passed the way he lived and I hope that is not forgotten. RIP Louie 🙏🏻

😂😂😂 it’s all just an excuse for the bad diet 😂😂 in all seriousness though my weigh in at home at the end of the day today is two pounds lighter than the other scale weighed me in the morning. Apples to oranges but usually I weigh more at the end of the day 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’m very picky about my scales because I wrestled and then went right into powerlifting and if my scale was off I had a very bad day at weigh ins 😂
 
I got mine off Amazon and it’s been remarkably close for all of my weight cuts and weigh ins since I got it. It’s a cheaper one but it’s always matched right up with the weigh in scales

Not a huge fan of Amazon but they do have the best deals.
 
Morning weight today was 179 which is 5.2 pounds down from start of log. Diet and workouts will be going back to normal now that I’m back home so I’m sure I’ll see the weight continue the steady drop through the rest of this log.
