Ice or heat?

Did legs yesterday (I'm 46). Serious tendonitis kicking up. I'm sure heat will feel good but I'm guessing ice is what is needed. Correct?
Thanks guys,

I will alternate between ice and a nice hot bath, flushing the blood through the tissues. Give both a try, and see what works for you.

I can't really take credit for finding it. I pilfered it from some guy about three or four years ago off a now defunct board.

The alternating is spot on! My PT would always have me do 5 min of ice and 2 min of heat, back and forth. I would wet a hand towel and put it in the microwave to warm it up. Works good!
